I have a tab with following specs
TCC8803 800mhz, 256ram, 4gb intern SD, display 7" 800x480 capacitive, HDMI, rtl8188cus wifi, no 3g. no bluetooth, no gps, support extern SD -32gb,
support extern keyb thru USB-OTG.
tab was rooted worked ok till tried to put Linux through Internet. Was downloading packages and then wifi lost connection.
ever since the chip warm-up ( opened tab and felt it ! ) but no display or sound at all !! I think i left it on debug mode in order to have
external keyboard work.
windows 7 will see it as 'unknown/ unrecognized' device, i forced ADB drivers to it, I get Android phone but also 'device cannot start.
Tried to conx with TV via HDMI but nothing there too.
I went through many forums, potential solutions but cant find anything applicable to my problem. Tried to format a 4gb SD with sardu
tested ok with quemu but nothing on the tab. no lights, no sound, silence of death !!! FYI no power led on this 150 euro device.
have saved some system files if someone wants me to upload.
So decided to ask for help / ideas in this forum.

Hi, all I'm new in this forum and I have some problems with my Android mobile phone. Well, my device is a "CHINESE" Android Phone (f*ck!):crying: and for this reason I can't root my device noway. Some weeks ago I connected in debbuging mode my Android to PC using an Universal Android Driver (Universal ADB), well up here. I opened the software Unlockroot (Free) and the software detected at the first my sh*t device. I just clicked in the button: ROOT in the middle of the screen. It begun to work and the line was loading very quicly. Later my phone was restarted and I had just a ROOT device. The reason for I wanted (and I still want) is because my mobile phone only has 200MB for apps and use 100MB for system and others, I tryed deleting davilk-cache, data, others systems files....but when I installed around 5 apps the memory was full and I think: WTF? WTF?...well I see some tutorials about how to win memory, splitting my SD Card, putting one partiton in EXT2 format for Apps and another for Files in FAT32 format. So, it was going so well. I installed the app SD2link and I link all the apps with SD2link...So, I thought: Good, very good, my little friend. But the problems had started. I notice, when I installed a random app from Google Play Store the phone was restared alone, without touching anything. Also it did the same when I wanted to open a installed random app.After a few days the screen rotation stopped working and when I opened an app the devices was restarted like a brick. However, I could fix with a factory wype or factory reset. I never thought that I was a cause of rooting my device...for this reason I unrooted and I went to the shop for change my device and they changed my device for another (new). Later with the new phone in my hand I rooted again with Unlockroot and I had the same problems, so I unroot the new device and I found info about root any android phone with just a click. I found SuperOneClick and that was the worst choice in my life. When the software finished I tryed to turn on my device...I couldn't because it was bricked and I was very nervous, because I had and Math exam and I had in the device my calculator (MathStep XD)...I couldn't turn on, and neither flash the device. The next day I going to special shop technical and then They fix my phone (I don't know how, but now goes well) and now my question:
I tried with all methods to be root: specials for chineses androids, universal root method, SuperOneClick (brick), Unlockroot (free and Pro ver.), Bin4ary Scripts, and others softwares, even manually ROOT with SDK and ADB, but any of these methods goes in my phone. CAN I ROOT MY DEVICE? HOW? Also I need say that I can't do any udapte from SDCard, I can't install anything from Recovery it says: Error. E: failed mount.... and then Installation Aborted. I can't installed Clockwork Mod for Root method too... so now: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

I'm not sure, man. Probably, but I going now to test it. Another thing that I said that later of the brick the phone isnt' the same than before. Also I'm not sure if it is a problem of the little pc of my father (A sh*it of PC: Acer Aspire One) or is cause of mobile phone, because my device connected and discconected alone from USB port every 5seg. or not connect nothing.
Sorry again for my bad english. I'm studying english but in Spain...You can't wait so much.

Share android mobile internet in different ways
So here we are having internet plan in mobile or using someone’s wifi and want to share with another device.
you may be wondering that why i will share wifi internet with other laptop as it already got wifi reciever,
i tell you why,
some of wifi owners restrict the IPs i.e. devices to connect, so in that case this blog will be helpful to those receivers.
So, here i am going to show you 3 ways.
1st way : via wifi hotspot
the other device should have wifi receiver and should receive internet from gprs

Rom : stock,.stuck in boot loop after changing font and bootanimation,...is there anyway to replace them without root,.....i tried android commander,with phone in factory mode gave the access to filesystem,....but android commander asks for root which is not possible until phone boots,...up,.. :crying:
Recovery : stock(android 3e recovery) which don't let me install anything by zip,...cwm support unavailable yet,.......rom also unavailable yet,.....

Failure ..... Install_Failed_Insufficient_Storage.
Hi,
I am trying to get more internal storage space and am having an issue. First off, my phone is rooted and I have been using link2sd from the beginning. I was reading the forums and noted that my davlik cache could be the problem and upon further research noted that even though my apps are on my sd card (at least link2sd says so), I need to create a symbolik link in order to move the davlik cache. When I go to create the link, I get an error message that states:
Failure ..... Install_Failed_Insufficient_Storage.
I am using Karbonn A25 duplex series phone and remember CWM (Clockworkmod) doesn't support to this mobile. It's a 16gb card and I don't have that many apps. I did partition the card in the beginning. I downloaded the Quick System Info app and it says I have 12 gb of free SD card storage and 4 gb free of Secondary SD storage. Does anyone have any ideas as to why I'm receiving the error message when trying to create the link and move the davlik cache? Thanks in advance!

A major problem about Internal Memory and RAM
Sir, I have looked at all your posts at karbonn A25, but I have a major problem.
You know that the RAM is quite less, merely 512MB and it is covered by applications.
I have rooted my phone as your shown and its succesfully ROOTED and I have partioned my SD Card as shown by Link2SD.
Now I would like to know if I could increase RAM by any method.
Karbonn A25 doesn't support ROEHSOFT RAM EXPANDER.
So I referred to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1934360 and
it said that you should not have any Partition in SD Card.
Can you guide how to increase RAM also, with the Partition in Play!

Just finished updating....and WOW!!!!
Vast improvement....EMUI 2.3 is polished, quick and very responsive (but probably used Nova)
Everything is faster ...probably due to KitKat 4.4.2.
One MAJOR issue is that Huawei change the DPI...the icons and text will be larger. This change was in response to Huawei's forum users saying text was too small.
Update: Unable to root via current RootGenius 1.8.7en, 1.9.6, KingoRoot 1.2.2, AnzhiRoot 1.5.0

I had to install Google+ for second Google account but it also has compatibility issue.
But you can add second Google account on YouTube app.

I have some apps that also show up as "incompatible with your version"...it's due to the change in LCD density value from 320 to 400. Hopefully someone finds a work around for this .

needrom.com has a post for the B007 503L, I haven't registered, so not sure whether its a link to EMUI or a mirror

I tried rooting with RootGenius, but it failed...I was debating weather to use one of the "banned" rooting programs due to security concerns. In the end, I tried it anyways without success. No Root = no modify XML. You can still get Google Play via the Huawei App Center, search for "GMS" and click on the google banner and download google play store, then download apps from official play store . While you are at the Huawei app center, you also need to download both "Google Sync" programs, (1) with calender icon and (1) with contact icon to be able to sync.
To add multiple Google accounts to the X1, you need to download Youtube or Google Maps and add an account through those apps, there is no option to add accounts in settings.
OTA will not update fom B002 or B006 if you are root (from what I read)
Regarding 64GB SD card: B007 will not do NTFS or exFAT...BUT it will automatically format your card to FAT32 (which is a plus) Available storage 64GB card = 59.46GB. I have a 64gb Micro SDHX card, not SDHC...I could not get it to work on B006 even with FAT32.

the rom download on needrom is fast ( about 1 minute for the 998mo , lol )
it is not a good news for not to be abble to root the device , i use ESroot explorer many time ( to transfer file directly from my device to my servers ) , titanium backup for ... backup my data and remove ugly apk ( or chinese that i cant use ) and airdroid to control my phone by my mac ( even i forget it at home , lol )
did you try Anzhiroot for root B007 ? ( root genius will not work on my B006 4G mediapad, and anzhiroot yes , i hope that perhaps it will work in B007 )
for the 64GB card, on the B006 , it can be formated in FAT32 only, but it is very slow ( i know that fat64 is more fatest than fat32 )
i use a samsung SDHC class10 , and it is very slowly than my old samsung 32Gb class8 ....
Just upgraded to 4.4 Kitkat, but I can't install TASKER ("your unit is not compatibel with this version")

Seems like anzhiroot is an older version of rootgenius...tried it...also failed

With 3g preferred...if 3g signal is strong it will use 3g...else it will drip down to 2g. If it was 3g only and 3g signal is weak...you will get no internet at all. Not sure if they changed the modem/baseband files...didnt pay attention to B006.. That may be why ...

Well the upgrade has failed. Trying to upgrade 7d-501l to 7d-501u. As it was going through the upgrade checks, it was saying successful but around 40%-50% I got this error:
"FAIL" = Detected the upgrade package can not be adapted to your tablet...
Any suggestion??

At this point ... You should probabky wait for an official 501L ROM . I'm assuming it shouldn't be long ...beats having a $400 brick.
B007 is faster ... But the big font is annoying pretty much everyone. I can barely type correctly...the keyboard is literally half the screen !

OP - Thanks.
Yes you're right don't want to have a $400 brick on my desk. Just need to wait a little longer for an release. I hope soon and also hope they make the fonts smaller. Don't want a keyboard taking up half my screen...

i tried to find it's rom but couldn't find it then i managed to flash cube 30 gt rom on it and the tablet opened the home screen rom but toush was not working however if i connected mouse to the tablet with otg it worked but i found that wireless is not working so as the Bluetooth beside i tried to transfer apps by ext memory card and install it but it gives me error message i checked the install from unknown sourses but no luck.
i will try what ever it takes to solve my 7 month tab problem i don't know which is better ,trying to solve problems on this working rom or installing another one . this the first time i put board specs for my tablet i hope this make different .
any suggestions
