I checked with my IMEI and it was updated to D80220B_00.kdz too.
But it hasn't reached my OTA update though.

Is that with D80220B? and what kind of usage is it? is it mostly on wifi or network data? games? how long does the display on?
Yes, 80220b. 3g/wi fi combined. Screen od when shot was taken was about 3h. About 30 mins of talk and no games. Battery life is amazing after this update.

LG Software versions are a bit confusing. When KitKat first came out, the version was D80220A for some regions and D80220B for others. But it was essentially the same firmware. With latest update D80220A updated to D80220B, but D80220B updated to D80220D.
For example, EUR Open D80220B is the same as HongKong D80220A (no knock-code) and EUR Open D80220D is the same as HongKong D80220B (knock-code added).

If I've got my HK phone updated from D80220B to D80220D using the LG PC Suite and afterwards, the touch screen was wrecked, what could be the problem?
When I mean wrecked, I mean that it didn't react properly. I couldn't even slide to open because it sensed like I pressed on multiple places.
My question is, If I get a new phone from HK (the seller from eBay said he would send me a replacement phone) to update to D80220D, will the problem with the touch screen happen again?
Many thanks,
Ice

Hi guys. Just picked up my sgs3 yesterday coming from s2.
I got it from t-mobile store. I think it's unbranded. Not seen anything t-mobile related.
I updated firmware via kies yesterday as there was an update available.
Is this the latest firmware for unbranded phones in UK via official channels ?
Also. Are the stock roms on here a massive improvement or are they buggy?
Cheers

If you got it from a t-mobile store, it will be t-mobile branded. Phones from phones4u and carphone warehouse are unbranded

Thats what I would expect, however there are no T-Mobile apps, no t-mobile logo in boot animation. To clarify when I say T-Mobile store, it was one of those Everything Everywhere T-Mobile/Orange stores, I believe all stores will be that soon?
Lfb is the latest European firmware. Easy to spot because it has a brightness slider in the notification tray.
The firmware has only been released a couple of days now so you might not get it straight away. Plenty of ways to download it here on xda though.

I updated to the new 4.4.23 keyboard but I have not seen any issues yet like what the OP has reported.
One thing that I did feel though is that it feels like the keyboard to actually be worse in the word prediction/correct department.
The update though said that it was supposed to enhance accuracy of input so maybe that's what I'm noticing instead?

Does anyone have any experiences yet? My KitKat update was not very good, until I did a factory reset. Now, it is the most incredibly reliable, fast, good battery phone ever. I am hoping this update doesn't mess that up, as it's my primary work phone.
It keeps prompting me to update, but I am waiting to see how it goes. Can't resist much longer...

Hey there! So I have a rooted SIM unlocked phone (HTC One M7) with the standard T-Mobile OS but for some reason the updater keeps downloading the Sense 6.0 Developer Edition instead of the T-Mobile edition. Thanks!

No, I mean a custom ROM based from the T-Mobile US official Sense 6 release. I'm having trouble getting a good dump though. ADB keeps skipping files while pulling from recovery. Any idea why this happens? I've never had it happen before. Radio is 4T.27.3218.14.

Thank you! You're absolutely right, I just had to make some changes on my end to let it install an OTA. I am having another issue though and I'm not sure how to fix it. It's telling me that the SoundHound_freemium.apk is missing and the installation fails (when installing from stock recovery). Any idea why that is?
Almost perfect
The only thing now missing from the HTC One M8 apart from the huge bezzel at the bottom (which I do not want) is the double tap to open. I've tried knockr and it does work but burns through your battery because of a limitation on the hardware. I must say the HTC One M7 with sense 6.0 is way better looking now than the M8 now that the black background on the dock has become transparent. Why couldn't they have made the M8 this way and kept the capacitive? Oh well, here's hoping for the M9.
I got the update this morning. So far I like it. It finally got me interested in my home screens and widgets I've been completely ignoring them until now.
Has anyone else's "auto sleep" display timeout stopped working?

An update has been pushed out for the Nordic G2. It should bring knock code and various bugfixes and should be equal to the update that the German D802 received.
Please note that it's not yet avaliable as a FOTA but you have to install it through mobile support tool.

Hahaha, amazes me that LG Nordic releases the update whenever I give up looking for it 2 times a day xD
But I'll wait for the ota, don't want to download 1.6 gb for a 50 mb update
Edit:
lol, i could not wait more that 10 min. Pc suite is downloading atm

It was worse with me. I've been checking 3-5 times daily and I even made a bookmark which I click every so often. Then suddenly it appeared. I haven't yet installed it since the Internet at my parents is slow and not adequate for downloading big files within a reasonable time frame. I'm definitely updating through the mobile support tool when I'm at my university tomorrow though. Won't take more than 20 minutes anyway.

When u take a bit more Action and try the search function (Google etc) u will see, that that is an well known issue since kitkat update what is known by LG and they work on a fix. But its not a Problem, cause the fault made LG

Oh sorry. I am glad you answered my question sir.
So I can basically root without any concerns cos the rootchecker is already tripped? Lol. (You don't have to answer that).

Where can I find the changes of the last firmware update?
Does the new version still have the call screen delay?

Sec, I'll try.
Edit, it's a lot better now. A little delay is there, but not big as the 20B had.

It's still a 2 sec delay though - at least for me.

What did you use to root it? I have an European G2 with the latest 20d EU (updated this morning).
Thanks a lot!
