Hi
Which rom for the LG G2 international version is most fastest, smoothest and most stable at the moment? I am currently running the stock rom that came with the phone and i am finding it a bit laggy and jittery when.opening apps, closing apps, scrolling, gaming etc. I wanted one that runs like a nexus 5 smooth and fast and good performance on games. Please recommend me a rom.
Thankyou in advance!!
I am on stock 4.4.2 and I find it not laggy at all. I did come from a HTC One X however.
XDA frowns on Rom recommendations, so I doubt you will get an answer.

I am not sure if which is best rom posts are allowed.
However to quickly answer your questions I am on jelly bean stock rom rooted and look at my antutu score in signature.
ps - I kid you not that score is definitely visible when using the phone it flies along without any lag others will disagree with this.
As always YMMV.
Best of luck.
We do not allow best ROM/Kernel threads on XDA. The question is subjective everyone has their own needs and usages. SO what's best for yo may not be what's best for someone else. Best advice is to head over to the development section try some out and see which best suits your needs.

Would strongly Suggest Lite'ning V1.2
its Stupidly easy to install. no need to Pre-Root etc does it all for you, Gorgeous Updated UI with loads of Cool new features added. and Litepro (Creator) listens and Updates the Rom Regularly to make sure it has Cool new Features
Edit : £350 is a bargain ! got mine on release date sim free for £500... lol :S
another vote here for ligtning- nice theme-stable and fast. All roms are f\st on gs2 though
You basically have a choice of 3 roms.
2 of those have been proven to include a cheat to influence the benchmarks scores that quadrant gives off making the rom look better than it actually is.
Choice is yours
Also this is a question not development so you posted it in the wrong forum section.
VillainROM

Very True indeed, luckily the Latest Lite'ning rom has had the Quadrant scripts all removed so it gives a True to life score
I was using AngeloM KE7 1.2 for quite a while, and upgraded to 1.6 two days ago which was an improvement. But I changed to Villain ROM yesterday and I'm quite impressed. I'd recommend that as a starting point. For me, it's a tiny bit smoother than the others.
If you use Titanium Backup, you can change ROM as often as you like with minimal inconvenience.

I am also very happy with the AngeloM rom . It is fantastic!
no comment on litening rom bcz i havent try it yet.
villianrom pretty good, basic, simple, long battery life.
angelom 1.6 is fast and normal battery life, but the thread got closed.

And this is dev because???
Hey,right now I have the latest Wanamlite rom (v5.8) and the latest Syah kernel.I think the Galaxy S3 is an exceptional phone with stock rom/kernel but it shoul be even better with custom roms and kernels wich have tweaks to improve the bad things found on stock.Right now I fell that the phone is not so good how it should be. It is so smooth but it have lags when launching apps or even Contacts,Messages or DialPad.Also, some games that were working fine on older phones are lagging and stuttering on the S3.What's the cause and how I can fix this ?
A good combo of rom/kernel for performance ? Please don't tell me that I should test and see which one suites me best. I want some opinions. Im going for performance>appearence.
Please test them out for yourself
This will be viewed as a best Rom thread, and because everyone's usage is different the only way of finding out what suits you is to try them out

Witch one of latest custom ROMs for GT I9300 is best for you? From my device I want stable, smooth, without lags, crash, freezes daily use. Battery drain, for me is most important to last one day, until I went to sleep. If you can help me to find some ROMs like that that would be awsome.I used CyanogenMod, is there any better than this one? Also I used Revolutionary S5 and couple of more but this two I used most. What you think of all this ROMs on forum witch one is best? Thabk you for help
Just read the rules first..
No best ROM threads allowed at xda..

As kunal said. There is no best rom. I use a stock rom with agni kernel and lots of xposed modules. It's a good all rounder and it works for me.
The stock roms are workhorses and do the job very well but some people just like the option to change stuff even though they don't actually need it. I overclocked but figured I don't need a hand warmer until winter. Stock roms do well at the standard 1.4Ghz.
Go any higher than 4.3 and the issues will become more common as this device was never designed for 4.4 and custom roms usually don't use any samsung code.
Best to look at it like this: stability/little to no customising vs not so stable/very customisable. Stock or custom roms respectively.

I've already tried latest OmniROM and Android Revolution, but my phone is simply much slower and laggy in comparison to Galaxy SII (on neatrom) or Galaxy Nexus (on omnimetal). I don't really need much additional features and customization, I mainly strive to speed, performance and stability. Could you give me any recommendation on which ROM to try? Could it be possible that something else might be the reason for poor performance?
Also, it takes a lot of time to send MMS. Any ideas why?
Best Rom requests are against xda rules, as they can cause bad feeling.
Try going back to stock to test for hardware issues, but with all the Samsung apps removed and checking you have the right modem and settings for your country.

I've been on stock before and it was even worse, but it's true that I didn't remove stock Samsung apps although I believe that wouldn't make a major difference.
Personally I don't believe it's classic "best ROM thread" since I have pretty specific problem. I'm just looking for ideas.

What is the best and why it is the best for you?
Pac man.. It's smooth, fast and has all the handy features of all other roms (except multi window)

there isn't something like best rom, every mod is different. It depends on what do you need.
PAC-Rom has a lot of cool stuff from others ROM, it's super customizable.
Hi!
I'm going to hijack this thread because I have a really similar question.
My girlfriend owns the XT1527 and it was still on 5.0.2. Her phone is slow and unstable. She agreed to try a custom ROM hoping it would help since she knows I've been using them for a while on my Nexus 4. She's not looking into having any kind of new features. All she really wants is the phone to be a little more responsive and stable. Actually I already flashed PAC-ROM on it a few hours ago since it seemed to be a quite popular option around here. Is that ROM a good choice or is there another one out there that is known to be quite stable even if there are less features?
Also, while I already have experience with flashing ROMs on my previous Nexus phones, I never messed with Kernels. I've seen a few people suggesting squid2's Kernel around here. Is it required? What effect will it have on the phone?
Thank you
imo aosp + squid kernel will be better option. It's preatty fast, and everything works. It hasn't got any custom features.
