Hi guys. Im a fish here and I need some instructions. I was using CWM on my S3 mini and ive made a success, now I have bought S3 and I want to install http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development/rom-smartdroid-v1-0-t2602543 . I need step-by-setp instructions how to run devil recovery and so on so on. I have S3 in stock, not rooted etc. Please help or send me to certain thread. Thanks alot!

Go read the sticky thread in general forum, CF autoroot then backup your efs. Install a custom recovery to flash your custom rom.
Follow the guides exactly, it's quite easy to brick these phones.

[Q] Rooted but no CWM

Hi there,
I rooted my SGS2 with S2 Root v1.3
My phone has successfully rooted, but i've not found any links that can let me install CWM after that.
I'm not sure, but rom manager users have reported the rom manager CWM can't seem to do nandroid backups properly.
Anyone can point me in the right direction or post a guide? thanks.
I've searched with the search tool and can't seem to find anything that can help me after S2 root. Thanks.
I've seen this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1118693
But it still doesn't tell me if it is compatible if i've already rooted with S2 root.
There are some kernels which installs CWM and Super User automatically after rooting. Such kernels are Chainfire, SpeedMod T27 etc, others won't.
Regards.
ok. will check those out.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

[Q] Can someone teach me everything i need to root my galaxy s2 i9100g?

hello everyone, i really need help in rooting and flashing custom roms in my galaxy s2 i9100g. the problem is that i cant find proper custom roms for my phone. i am capable of rooting my phone, its just a matter of finding the insecure kernel and flashing it then using superoneclick and then flashing the original kernel back in. but what would i benefit if i cant install custom roms. by the way. to install roms i need clockworkmod recovery right? please some1 help me i really want to do this and experience the full power of android
Thanks in advance =)
What you would benefit if you can't install custom roms? I you can't root your device with those guides that is here I suggest you to not root. You will probably end up bricking your phone.
And btw, searching google for it shows even more sites with guides..did you put any effort at all in trying to find out yourself or are you just lazy?

[Q] Cyanogen 10.1? What is it exactly?

Wow - this forum is huge
Although I am new to Samsung Galaxy S3 I am prepared to work for it. I just don't want to start flashing unstable files. Which is why I thought I would ask here first.
Question
I have just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300 and I have rooted it yesterday via Odin and in my apps I can now see CWM V3.60 and SuperSU Now I am looking for some advice please?
What is Cyanogen 10.1? I have been reading about it but don't fully understand? is it for installing Roms that supersedes Samsung software 4.1.2? and is there a safe tutorial you can point me to?
Also I want to get rid of the bloatware on this device can anyone please point me in the right direction of how I go about doing this?

Also I want to get rid of the bloatware on this device can anyone please point me in the right direction of how I go about doing this?
The bloatware thread in Themes and Apps or flash a custom rom with bloatware removed .
Best to read all the faqs and guides before starting .

You choose Wrong Section Man!
You must ask your question in Q&A section:
Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Sorry, did not realize that . I found solution from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957273 . Installed CF-Auto-Root :good:. I believe that custom recovery is very easy to find and install from this point.
