So, what happened here is that you wiped the preloader. So you've got to enter meta mode then flash it via sp flash tools. But make sure you have imei backed up or your signal won't work.
To enter meta mode click the volume down button when connecting to pc.

sorry i meant i have the imei number(under the battery) but not in the phone....like when i dial #06# the imei's are blank and that's i'm not even able connect to a network

i have tried all the software's that can write IMEI but nothing worked like Engineering mode, SN writer,maui meta,sn write station etc... and nothing worked and i think this is happening because the stockrom that i have flashed is not for my phone this is for other phone so does this causing the problem because everything is just fine except the imei ?????

No no... I've faced similar problems
... This happens because you delete the Nvram folder when you format while flash. This deleted my imei luckily I had a backup

Hi there, I have this problem with my Samsung Galaxy S4 Clone [MT6589], while ago it works but there's a problem on IMEI, so what I did is I repair it with MTK Droid tools but I rebooted it, mediatek boot screen not showing anymore and it going to restart and restart. So what I did was accessing the stock recovery option and going to "wipe/factory reset" but nothings happen..and now when I try to select one of the option in the recovery it shut off.. Kindly help me.. is the test point can restore it back?
Hi friend. I think that you have to install the ROM again and root the phone. After that install mobileuncletools you can find it on Playstore . You can type a new IMEI from this app. I've made it with mine.

Ohh... I see... I have the same problem with another MTK 6589. I mede a reboot and then the phone died. I cannot do something to turn it on... I 'll send it back because it is in warranty now... I hope they will solve the problem.

Friend I just remebered something.
Try to install the drivers of the device. The rom can be installed with the phone turned off. There is a programm which installs it. It named "Smart phone flash tool". I use this programm and it is very good.

i killed my lenovo p780 by mistake.
i was flashing a costume rom using sp flash tool and in the middle of the process i canceled it.
after the cancellation the phone wont power or boot, doesn't react to any key and only a red light appears when i connect the phone to a usb.
i tried everything, the sp flash tool and the computer don't recognize the phone or any costume driver, only unknown device appears and none process starts.
the only time when something happens is when i connect the phone when trying to flash it and then push the red button, when i do that some process starts but after a minute it gives 'enable dram failed' error.
please help me !!!

Because the flashing was stoped, your phone, more precise your preloader is messed up!
You must reflash by reinstalling the drivers. The whole process must be done again.
Look and read in Q&A Section. You will find some tutorials there!
You are not alone! There was some others who made this mistake!

Hi. Let me see... You have the Lenovo P780 SPEED edition. This means that your phone after 04.2014. You need to flash your phone with the new preloader.
Look on your phone box, on the back of the box and read there.
Sooo.. Now because of this wrong preloader, your PC cannot detect your phone.
Now to reflash your phone you do all the things to prepare flash, press flash button,connect the phone, and now come the tricky part:
- open the back case of your phone and press small red button for 20 secconds. Not optional. More yes, less no.
Try this and tell me what happent.

Hi everyone.
Hi have a Wiko Highway Octa Core 3G 2.0GHz based on the Mediatek MT6592 SoC.
My phone got bricked and I can't seem to find instructions on how to get it to go into Meta Mode to try and flash it, since this phone does not have a removable battery and the instructions that I find are not specific for this device. And it only has Power, Vol+ and Vol- physical buttons
I did not try to install a custom ROM, this happened re-flashing the original Wiko ROM from http://support.wikomobile.com/maj/HIGHWAY_KITKAT_V19.zip
It doesn't even lit up the charging LED, but I have the MTK Preloader visible in the Windows Device Manager.
SP Flash Tools occasionally detects the UART COM port, but after failing it doesn't anymore until a PC restart, using USB does nothing.
Would this be easier using Linux? I can also try that.
Edit: Using SP Flash Tool 5.1620 and some unsigned MTK Preloader Drivers that I found on http://www.theandroidsoul.com/how-t...omax-huawei-oppo-phillips-vivo-zte-etc-82090/

I was able to unbrick my Wiko Highway Octa Core 2.0 GHz 3G.
I will post the steps later in case someone needs help doing it with detailed info on the preloader drivers, SP Flash Tool and the ROM that I used.
I would still like to know what the Meta Mode is exactly, since this was what bugged me the most.
I even lost sensitivity in my fingers from holding the hardware buttons so many times to try and get the phone to connect like that, but all it was necessary is to connect the USB cable with the phone off, without pressing any button.
Can someone please clarify to me if it's a mode that allows to simply flash new firmware, or is it supposed to activate a type of "hardware USB debug"?

If you have time can you please layout the steps to get the phone unbricked. I get to the point where the Preloader keeps appearing and disappearing. This causes my flash to get interrupted. Can't get the preloader to steady, tried different key combination to achieve Meta Mode with no success.

try flashing preloader first! It always works when you have drivers already setupped.Make sure to press power+vol up+vol down simultaneously while connecting with usb,and keep it pressed until flashing starts..no matter even if it shows driver installation!

Bro just uninstall all the drivers from your PC then try my given drivers,it will surely work!
Any windows with 32-bit will do the work except windows XP :3

Hello, i got a big problem and needed HELP!
Today i got my Note 4...
so i tryed to unlock the bootloader, bad thing did not logg in at the device.
i booted the mobile in fastboot mode and started the official unlock tool.
until 50% it went quite well then i got an error message:
couldn't verify device
current account is differnet from the account info on the device
so i tryed to boot again but was in a bootloop...
i tryed also flashing a new rom (nikel_global_images_7.4.14_20170414.0000.00_6.0_global_b5d5f15e0e.tgz) and again i got an error
"flash boot error"

Did you use Sp flash tool?, if yes You should tick all except preloader. You will have to wait 5-15mins for the phone to boot up.

yes i used this tool, after rebooting the mi logo is on the screnn for about 7 secounds then the mobile boots again and again...

I have never experienced that.. I think you should send it to your mobile repair center.. Be patient,, It might take few days. Don't panic,

tried it again with the mi flash tool i got following error
80x80004005: FAILED (remote: download for partition 'boot' is not allowed
Hey Guys, i soveld the problem...
AND F**K it was a quite easy solution...
i tried so hard was crying and a kind of very desperate...
anyways i aslo wrot a mail to mi and they did not help at all...
they even say i should lock in at the device if im in a bootloop, kinda funny?
anyways so i drained the batterie and nearly about to give up this device....
BUT i give it one last try, plugt it in and booted it... it took a while but after a while i finaly was able to boot the Phone and set it up...
so this threat can be closed...
