I managed to create a stock firmware ftf with flashtool using the files that pc companion downloaded. But my last attempt at creating one for the kernel wasn't successful. Just thought it may be useful to me later.
Does anyone know how to do it?

Why bundle? Just place the firmware in the firmware folder and flash it.

Flashtool needs it to be bundled, it wouldn't work by putting the files in the folder

Hello JJones45! Did you try to repair the software using SEUS? That might help.
Best regards

So could anyone help me out plz?
Thank you in advance
Oke guys so I found my firmware (ICS) but I found something weird when is select it it says in flashtool userdata.sin but when I select another firmware it automaticly says system.sin. (I will add 2 screenshots)
So my question is what can I do about this?
Thanks
Just install it, from what I can see on my phone it's just a different order of the .sins

Hello, I unlocked my bootloader and now PC companion tells me that my system is modified and can't update using this tool. Sony told me I would need an update.zip, ota, or a third party method. Any help would be appreciated as I would love to update my firmware.

How can I backup my stock kernel? Or can I download stock kernel for z2 from somewhere.. Please advice

you can use flashtool to flash kernel only from a FTF or you can use a custom recovery to backup and restore later

Hi guys, I am going to give my Z Ultra 6833to my sister and I want to return it back to stock Sony firmware. Can someone help me with the procedure on how to do it? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Just want to add that I have an older backup of my DRM keys and would like to know if it can be Flashed back after going back to stock.

Download an official c6833 ftf.
Download the latest Flashtool.
Copy paste the ftf into the firmwares folder in Flashtool folder.
Open flashtool. Select the icon on the top left and select flashmode. Then select the ftf you want to flash.
When Flashtool prompts you to connect your phone, press and hold the volume down button while connecting. (oh i forgot one step. After installing flashtool, install the flashmode and fastboot drivers from the drivers folder)
After the flashing ends, unplug and start your phone. Root it. Then restore the DRM keys and you are done for easy rooting, use the towelroot method. You will find it around these forums. Good luck!
