Hey all! So I've been looking all over forums and the internet searching for an app that similarly functions to the app/website for the wearedata ad campaign made by ubisoft for watchdogs. However, I can't find any apps that do the same or similar!
What I'm looking for is an app that aggregates all social media posts and places them on a map (simlarly to what the wearedata website does) although differently to that have it so that you can look anywhere on the rather than being limited. Anyone know an app that can do this?
Just find it interesting and I like nose'ing around xD

Hello xda-developers!
I'm a webdesigner and this client wants to show a website on a tablet and let users post tweets from it. He doesn't want users to go to other websites.
My advise for him was to use a iPad. There are severall aps for the iPad which restrict the user to go to other websites.
I'm looking for a android app that restricts users from going to other websites and doesn't show the adress bar. I searched the android market but i only fount the kiosk browser app wich doesn't work.
Does any of you know of a app like this?
Thanks in advance,
Joey
Same here, i'm searching for exactly the same app for ages ((
I searched the market but couldn't find anything in the first few pages of tools or through various searches. Hoping someone on here might have found something I couldn't.
Hey all, I'm looking for an app similar to CramFighter (iPhone app) for android. It's an algorithmic app that takes the books you have to study for the NCLEX and the time you have before the test and populates a calendar with the amount of chapters per book to study per day.
If someone can port this app over or just create a really basic one (Like it asks for the title of the book and the amount of chapters and just populates) I'd be willing to pay for it and so will a million other nursing students who are looking for something similar since CramFighter shows NO android love at all!
If you know of an app similar or some key words to search on the play store that would also help a TON!
Thank you!
Hi,
I doubt that I'm the first one to think about this but I couldn't find anything useful trying to search for it, so here is what I'm looking for:
Is there an app that I can use to share a number of apps I installed on a webpage including QR-codes, GPlay-links, short descriptions etc.? The apps I know of mostly share text only and/or links but none I found allow me to generate a webpage (or use a site for this) which has all the info in a neat, organized way so that my friends can read the descriptions and decide which apps to download from there.
AppBrain's API has an app widget that would be somewhat fitting but 1) there is no app to automatically create those based on a list of apps on your phone and 2) it requires people to use AppBrain, which some people don't like.
Basically, I'd like to have it created automatically and look like the ones used by Android Police (but with links to Play-Store only and no need for ratings)
Anyone know an app like that?
TIA

Since I got no replies, I went ahead and put together a crude PHP script to convert a list containing Market/Play-links to a webpage and to host that list on PasteHTML.com in case you want to share it with someone (since I don't have the hosting for that). If you are interested, you can check it out here (sorry if it's slow, it's running on my home server). I'm still looking for an app that could do this though but for now this is better than nothing
I've been asked to create an app at work. It's for a membership we sell that gives people access to numerous gyms in the City. The app will do the usual things a website would e.g. be able to list upcoming classes, and details about the different gyms, but it seems to me like this is app would be rather unuseful as all the info I've been asked to put in the app is on our website, and mobile site.
So I'm curious as to what people think would be good to build into the app. I don't personally go to the gym so I'm not sure what features would be of use to people. All I can think of at the moment is a stopwatch/timer for when people are doing activities.
Does anybody else have any ideas that would be good?
