I've noticed that whenever O1 plays a sound, or when i'm calling someone theres a little very little but audible noise on the speaker, like hiss... Is this normal??
I have a stock Froyo rom, unrooted, everything stock.....
thnx in advance..
there is already a topic on this.
I also have LG Optimus One P500 phone and it also makes the anoying background hiss noise all the time. I searched 2 days for a solution but I don't think there is any. Even with headphones the buzzing noise is still there so is not the speaker.
I hope this is only a software problem not hardware and can be easily fixed, ASAP!
If you find a fix please don't forget to share with us.
I think that's just stereo crosstalk.

It's a known bug on earlier system versions...
Just update the firmware to latest version.
Bye
Same problem with speaker noise, but it is big noise, not little.
It is audible when calling someone, playing music, games, even dtmf of phone number keys.
There is last (I think) official firmware 2.2.1 on my P500.
Is there any way to fix this problem without updating FW to unofficial 2.3.*?
I've tried to find solution with google, but no results.
Looks like it is problem with amplifier. Is there any way to control it?
(Sorry for bad English)
Hey guys,
I'm having the same problem with my LG Phoenix (No idea where else to post this, and since the Phoenix is a variant of the Optimus One..). I've looked all over the internet for a solution and found nothing, it's driving me nuts.
Supposedly the v10c update fixes it but I already am on v10c.
I'm seriously hoping someone out there has found a fix for this issue, as it stands the hissing noise is almost as loud as the music I'm playing
It's a LG Phoenix P505R from Rogers Canada.
I think it will go away with the sound fix applied by Lekhwani.
I appreciate the help, but is there any way to fix this without custom ROMs? As far as I know the P505R doesn't have any custom ROMS for it.
I am running aokp (latest by task) on my sgs2-i777.
Problem - Whenever I talk to someone with earphones on...they complain me about getting lot of noise but I can hear them fine...and if I talk without earphones they can hear me fine as well. They describe noise as - when you have phone close to tv or car radio and someone calls...tv/radio speakers emits kind of tutututuuututu...sound.
What I tried - I tried installing Phone.apk from GNex rom...but it didn't helped...if someone know a solution to this...please help...flashing a stock rom will be last thing I want to do.

Noise cancellation only applies when using the device's own mics - if using a separate mic it does nothing.
Get a properly shielded headset... Or move to a location that has 3G service instead of 2G.
Thanks for reply...I'll try samsung's earphones that came with phone...just wondering never had this problem with 2.3.7 build.
Hey xda family,
Recently we have a cm9 rom in our development. But having problems with the phone volume not working properly. I understand we don't have a kernel yet for ics 4.0.4 as its not released yet,so this may be the factor. I've tried everything for volume increase but doesn't help the in call volume. Plus speaker phone during calls seems to to be directed to the ear piece rather then the rear speaker. Does anyone have any input on a fix? Or know how to redirect the path for volume for speaker phone? I have search all over and need some help from some one that understand development better then I ....thank you
usb on the
usb on the go not working in galexy note n-7000... Sorry for my bed english....
Hi guys. Just wanted ask as i havent seen any solution for about 3 weeks. First of all this is what im using now.
Rom: Temasek Unofficial CM 12.1 By Arter and ds94 v18.6
Kernel: Boeffla NG kernel for CM 12.1 alpha 4 b18
Before any issue comes up im satisfied with my S3 I9300. Its working fine until i drop it for about 12inches high. At first i didnt notice it. But when i play videos on youtube. Ive noticed that it has no sound and i kept on missing calls and messages. So i tried to disassemble my S3 and notice that the contact between the speaker/headset jack has been damage (i supposed due to drop). So i ask my frienda online if they have speaker/headset jack available and luckily i found one and work a bit. For about 3 hours it works sometimes it doesnt. Now its been on my head and cant watch or play videos and music. Both music and videos run either in slow motion or a 2 seconds skip fast forward. I dont know if this is a software or hardware issue. If i remove the speaker it does the same. Its just random and most of the time no sounds at all.
Thanks
PS: if im not in the right forum please point me to the right one.
Flash a stock rom via odin and on the keypad type *#0*# to get factory mode. Press "speaker". If you hear a tune your speaker is fine. If not you have a hardware issue.
I wish I stole my HTC M9.
Thanks will try..
I bought one of these models (EU version) 3 days ago and everyone complains about the sound of my phone. It seems that the voice is cut or distorted .:crying:
I am on a second unit because I thought this was a problem with the first unit but it seems to be a problem coming from the factory.
Does anyone have such an experience?
If changing the phone doesn't solve the problem what would you suggest me to do?
I believe this problem is related to the type of speaker that samsung chose for this handset, I have the same problem with calling. This sound is far from satisfactory.
