hello
I have updated my galaxy s3 i9300 with HD REVOLUTION 51.0 as usual. it flashed normally. then I restarted. and when I did a reboot through ROM MANAGER (to go into recovery mode) it is stuck between CWM and Samsung logo.
Please help.
Don't use rom manager.
Use odin to flash a full stock rom, boot into recovery and factory reset.

tried with reflash partition (pit) should help it boot again, or go into recovery mode and wipe factory/data

bootloop happens when the Rom corrupts during installation or installing any other application. or some people using ROM Manager . Never use ROM Manager you will loose the cwm. Download any ROM which supports Odin. flash it you should be fine. Then you can switch back to your favorite ROM. this is a good rom you can flash via odin.

PS : if you don't like to flash ROM just flash CWM via Odin which should give you access to CWM. you can restore you backup ROM if you have one or have any other ROM in your phone memory.

I was facing the same problem some days ago, but after surfing this forum, I realised that if you have Kies running in the background, Odin will behave oddly and will not flash the firmware by going into a bootloader loop.
I suggest that you re-install the drivers again and make sure that Kies is not running in the background when you are flashing through Odin (just fire up your Task Manager in Windows and terminate the Kies process).
Hope this helps you...

Boot into download mode, and flash a stock ROM via Odin. Download the ROM for your country & carrier from Samfirmware. Stay away from 4.0.4, flash ROM, then re-root and restore a nandroid backup. Done.

1) Are you sure it is for GT-S5830i? But first, are you sure that your device is an Ace-i?
2) Which kernel is it? You need to know whether it is for stock-based ROMs or for CM7.2 ROMs.
3) Download mode is more important. Can you access it with volume down + home + power?

Since you can enter the Recovery Mode, just flash any custom rom. Make sure to do Wipe data/ factory reset, Wipe cache partitions, Mounts & Storage> Format /system and Advanced> Wipe dalvik cache from CWM before you flash a rom. That should solve it. If that doesn't work, then flash the stock rom back using odin from the Download Mode. Do post the result. Hope I Helped

Bootloop S5389i
Hi there, i recently tried to install a custom rom on my ace s5839i but got stuck on the 'Galaxy Ace GT-S5389i' splash screen. I then managed to get it into download mode and install the stock ROM using odin. the process completes on the computer but on the phone it says 'failed to mount /data' and gets stuck in a new bootloop now between the 'SAMSUNG' and Vodafone logo. is there anything i can do about this? thanks in advance

No wipe required ? Or must factory reset?
