Boot into download mode, and flash a stock ROM via Odin. Download the ROM for your country & carrier from Samfirmware. Stay away from 4.0.4, flash ROM, then re-root and restore a nandroid backup. Done.

What cwm and bootloader do you have installed?? you need the 6.1..... cwm and the ICS bootloader from http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/
And yes you can go back to stock ics by using odin, wipe data/cashe/dalvik and then flash the cwm in odin, the bootloader in odin, kernel isn't needed because it's a build-in kernel and then the ROM
Thanks 4 ur reply sir...i used CWM 5.8. and i didnt installed bootloader.sry i dont know sme technical terms.i updated official ics from samsung .and rooted by odin.
Can u give/post the link for 6.1cwm????whether i install any kernel separately???
and also my tab not booting .It always shows Samsung galaxy Tab p750 neither start nor off

For cwm 6.1, download the recovery.tar and the bootloader4_0_4, flash it on odin on the PDA section, BUT ONLY USE CM10 with THIS!!!! Also download the ROM and also flzdh this under PDA
you can find stock ics firmware on http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/ stock firmware should revert everything, unroot/unbrick

I rooted my SGS2 yesterday and today when I woke up I say the app "SuperSU" with a new icon.
I "clicked" on it and it said something about ... that it will boot into CWM and do something.
It restarted and since then my phone has been unable to boot.
The phone is using "Jeboo" kernel.
Any ideas about how to fix this? Flashing a new kernel?
I am able to get into download mode, but not CWM.
flash the stock firmware by sammy and you will be good to go

Exactly the same thing (word by word) just happen to me! have you found a solution?
Flash stock firmware with Odin. About all you can do as phone wont boot into cwm
boot recovery
After flash stock firmware with Odin everything go back to normal.
Installed SuperSu again but when it ask for update the binarys choose the NORMAL option not the CWM one
Are you looking for root? What firmware are you on now?
Hi All..
Im pretty much a noob..last week i decided to install cyanogenmod on my phone.Im using international version of Galaxy Note GTN7000.
I saw there was a windows installer on cm website..but wanted to make a backup of my current rom..
i rooted my phone using kingo android root..installed rom manager..flashed latest clockworkmod recovery..
but on booting into recovery,i found stock recovery was being forced..i read somewhere it was because of unlocked bootloader..
on cyanogenmod wiki page,i found installation of clockworkmod recov using heimdall..everything went fine ...blue progress bar was shown in the download mode...and when i rebooted into recovery mode i saw the first danger sign..there was a yellow triangle beneath galaxy note logo..
and then it booted into clockworkmod recovery 5.8..Foolishly i did a system backup..rebooted...surprised to find phone went into black screen after displaying a note logo with yellow triangle beneath..tried recovery from clockworkmod without hope but that didnt work as expected...
This is the situation..All i need now is to install cyanogenmod 10.1.3 stable on my device..i dont want a custom rom backup anymore..
'but i saw in forums i will need to flash a custom rom from sammobile...
All help will be appreciated.Pleasen help..

At first flash a Samsung firmware through Odin: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
I recommend you not using Rom Manager. Have a look at PhilZ's thread for having a safe kernel and custom recovery to be able to backup and flash what you want.
doubt
Can i flash stock rom from sammobile
and go for cyanogenmod windows installer without flashing philz kernel

I really don't like this CM installer... Toolkits won't help you in case of trouble.
Download a firmware from SamMobile and flash it with Odin then you will be able to install PhilZ and your CM rom (or another one )

Yes you can but the most important thing on N7000 is to have a SAFE kernel before wiping or flashing from recovery. (more details in the N7100 sections)
Here are the general instructions to flash a new custom rom:
1. Having root and a working custom recovery (updated)
2. Boot into recovery mode (VOL DOWN + POWER + HOME) then VOL UP to accept the warning.
3. Make a Nandroid backup and backup your EFS.
4. Full wipe: wipe data (factory reset), cache, dalvik and system. Recoveries are different. You may need to go to another menu to format the system partition.
5. Flash rom
6. Flash Gapps
7. Reboot normally
hello
I have updated my galaxy s3 i9300 with HD REVOLUTION 51.0 as usual. it flashed normally. then I restarted. and when I did a reboot through ROM MANAGER (to go into recovery mode) it is stuck between CWM and Samsung logo.
Please help.
Don't use rom manager.
Use odin to flash a full stock rom, boot into recovery and factory reset.

You can easily switch stock recovery to cwm with flashify app,No need Odin. Just flash recovery.img with this app & also u can flash custom kernals.
Check this post.....

Just press THANKS.........
Sadly didn't work, it says that my phone didn't pass the compability test so what's now? When i look for it on google play it says "your device isn't compatible with this version" but it installed succefully on my device running originally 2.3.6 with generic kitkat rom in 4.4.2 is there any method to do it in odin at least? Or custom kernel would be better? Answers will be appreciated.
No way to change it, also the risk is extreme i don't wanna brick my device, even i installed a custom kernel from odin, it showed "PASS" and my phone restarted and appeared the samsung logo later it turned off and restarted again and later the screen kept in white and i did need to get back to the old kernel
Anyway flash the stock recovery it's impossible to do.

You know that without cwm recovery u can't flash custom roms & kernals.
Pleas clear that which recovery u want stock recovery or cwm recovery?
And why?
Then I can easily guide or help u.
Best regards.
I want to change stock recovery to cwm recovery. I want cwm permanently no temporal, i know the zip file it's temporal but i want it permanent! I don't know how my phone did install "Compact" kernel with stock recovery and not with cwm i've had to do it that way 'cause odin didn't work and my phone got bricked
Can i install cwm permanent on samsung galaxy young duos? (S6102B)
I'll be very grateful if somebody could explain me!
The reason why i want cwm permanent and why i want it it's because i don't want to enter in recovery and see always the limited stock recovery with just 4 options
