Hello Sirs,
My Z Ultra cannot find driver when connect to my notebook. Can anyone helpe me where to get the correct drivers?
In my windows "Device Manager", i only see C6802 with "?". It cannot find driver through windows update.
Can anyone please tell me which driver should i install?
Although i have already installed "Sony PC Companion 2.1", my notebook still cannot recognize my C6802 automatically.
I found a driver on internet called " Sony SA0106 ADB Interface Driver".
After i install manaually, my notebook can find C6802 and came up new issue.
When i connect ZU with my notebook, the notifications bar always shows" Install Software - The Latest Software is ready to be installed on the computer". I need to install every time when i connect my phone and notebook.
Can i install the correct ADB driver?
SA0106, SA0101 ... which one is made for Z Ultra?
Phone current status:
Z Ultra / Android 4.4.2 / 14.3.A.0.757 / Security ( Encrypt phone )
Notebook:
Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit / service pack 1
Hope you can help me. Thank you.
Is pc companion fully updated?

After successfully flashing my Xperia Z Ultra 6833 with the GPe rom, it is working really well.
But, I can't seem to get any driver to be accepted for ADB.
In device manager, under Other Devices, I see a device called 6806_GPe with no driver installed.
I've downloaded drivers from Sony for all types of Z Ultra (but when I go to update driver and try to use them I am simply told that "windows cannot find a driver for your device". I've also tried to install drivers using the Flashtool driver utility, but still no good.
I need to use ADB to correct an issue but am stuck, can some tell me where to get the correct driver please?
Im using Win7 64-bit.
many thanks
Andy.
Maybe you must change build.prop too c6833 .

Many thanks for the replies, its very much appreciated.
Unfortunately, I had already tried all of these drivers, so I tried again (this time using a VPN and different browser just in case anything was caching). Still no good I'm afraid.
Just to ensure I'm not going completely mad, I right click on the 6806_GPe device in Device manager under "Other Devices" and select "Update driver". There's no other way to do this is there?
regards
Andy.
OK, sorted it.
Ended up forcing the driver by picking the device (Android Device - Sony ADB) rather than giving it a folder.
thanks all.

But, I can't seem to get any driver to be accepted for ADB.
In device manager, under Other Devices, I see a device called 6806_GPe and MTP with no driver installed. (yellow triangle)

Im using Win8.1 64-bit.
Edit: i was messing around and got it to install sg0109 driver but it still shows the mtp missing driver
Download the GPe drivers from the GPe ROM thread, on one of the last pages, there is also another solution there
ADB Drivers Win8.1 x64
Using linux but if memory serves me right just completely uninstall ALL USB Drivers and re mount xperia and let it (win) auto re assign and address the drivers also look for USBDeview should still be on one of the z and general sections of most android threads here or google for it
Guys hoping someone can help me here. Been trying for the life of me to update to Lollipop but PC Companion can't connect to my tablet. It continually fails... When looking in device manager i see a driver missing for the tablet (SGP611), however i can't get the driver to install for the life of me. I"ve tried pointing to the z3 tablet compact driver sony provides on their developer site, and also tried to get pc companion to install them on 3 different occasions (Uninstall, reboot, and resinstall companion sw). Also if i turn on USB Debugging MTP missing driver appears.
Running windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Thanks
As the title: it is impossible to recognize Alcatel POP4 5051J on the Mobile Upgrade, because the Android Driver doesn't exist. I tried many drivers on the web, even forcing a driver. I searched a lot.
My problem is that I want recovery my phone with the software Mobile Upgrade from Alcatel. But doesn't recognize the phone. The driver is for when the phone is turned off.
I receive this mesage: "no available device is detected. Please check the COM port status"
I' using Windows 10 Pro x64 and I tried on a Windows 7 Pro x64.
Any helps?

Hi guys, I got the solution.
The Windows 7 and 10, at least, or maybe the 64 bit SOs, need turned off the "signature check of the drivers". You can google this: "How to Disable Driver Signature Verification on 64-Bit Windows 8 or 10 (So That You Can Install Unsigned Drivers)"
After that, turned ON my phone normaly, and put it the USB connect to CDROM, then, you need to go on "My Computer" (on the PC), and enter in the folder of your phone and copy the drivers right there to your Desktop. For Windows 10, I got the folder x64 (the folder win8164 didn't work for me). Then turn off your phone, connect to USB, open the Mobile Upgrade software, and go in the Device to install the drivers from where show to you unrecognize device "Android". Use the point a folder (the x64 that you copied), and done! It will install the drivers and the Mobile Upgrade will recognize your phone.
