Yesterday, the vibration motor on my phone stopped working, so I went to Sprint, who ordered me a replacement through the HTC warranty.
I used the HTC Unlock method, therefore, my warranty is void. Is Sprint going to check this when I come in for the exchange? Or will it just be an even swap with no questions?
Thank you!
They will just swap it. I have had them swap my phone after I unlocked it no questions asked. I even left it rooted custom rom and all. Now if it was bricked that might be a different story. They might check then but not for a motor issue.

Would they have to order a replacement for let's say a busted speaker?

Actually, yes. He said that since the phone came out less than a year ago, they don't open any of them there. My friend actually came with me because his 3VO has a broken speaker. They told him that he has to go to the corporate location, as that is the only place that will actually open the phone without voiding the warranty, and if they can't fix it, they have to replace it.
He told me the vibration issue can't be fixed, and they have to order a replacement model.
i just put a stock rom on my phone and took it in and im not sure if they knew or not but i got a new phone
Sprint doesn't seem to care most of the techs are rooted. If it was bricked then yes they would be looking at you funny and you might have to pay a fee or your warranty is no good.

My phone started acting up where the screen would only turn on some of the time. The digitizer was working while the screen stayed black. I called up Verizon and had them send me a replacement (covered under warranty) only to find the replacement was on ME7. I was going to take the display off the new s4 and use it on my old one, but after watching a video I decided it was too messy. Then i realized I could just take the board from the old s4 and put it in the new one. I booted the new s4 with the old board in and it worked, however I discovered the problem with the old s4 wasn't the display, but something with the board itself. The new s4 had the same problem as the old s4 but with a different screen.
Is there anything I can do or am I stuck with ME7?
Pretty sure you're stuck with ME7, unfortunately.
Also, keep in mind that the IMEI and S/N are tied to the board, so you would be sending back a phone with the same IMEI and S/N as the replacement instead of the defective phone. It might cause problems.

:crying: I have HTC One X+ 64gb Telus which is rooted,s-off and boot loader unlocked. I am using Elegancia 6.2.0. I don't know what happened to it. Suddenly Capacitive buttons are not working as light are working. In past it never dropped and I Nevar sit on it. I don't know why it happened. Now i am using LMT launcher from which I am not satisfied and thinking about repairing it. In my city there are no HTC service center but there is a collection point(I don't know what it is??? ) . I searched about this on Internet and found that it may be problem of Digitizer. So, My questions are:
1. By replacing LCD+Digitizer would solve this problem? If yes, then which variant should I buy SHARP or SONY version? As mine is Telus version.
2. Should I go to Collection Point in my city ?
3. Or should I take risk of doing dis-assembly of it ?
4. Or Should I buy a LCD+Digitizer from internet and do replacement by local mobile repairs?
PS: I bought it 2 months ago from ebay and it doesn't have manufacturer warranty. And sorry for my bad english
Bring it to an authorized repair shop or contact HTC and ship it in. Make sure that it is actually a hardware problem, and then have them replace it.
Try not to replace it yourself, there is a ton of adhesive and you might damage the phone as you need to use a suction device to remove the screen.
(I do believe the buttons are part of the lcd/digitizer assembly, but you might want to check with HTC support)
If you want to save money, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fatedevgroup.softkeyenabler&hl=en will get you on screen buttons
So I had a question... if I replaced my AT&T motherboard (H900) with a TMobile motherboard, (H901) would that technically mean I would have a unlocked boot loader and could STILL run on AT&T? Seems too good to be true.
