[Q] PIN Quick Unlock - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

New to Sony, just got the Z2 coming from a modded OneXL. I'm used to having the PIN quick unlock (no enter key required), is there something I can do to enable this on the Z2?

Settings > security > screen lock > pin

I think the OP means something different than what you've replied. I too prefer not having to press the enter key. My N7 is the same as your old OneXL. However I don't think it's currently available to have on a stock Z2. There may be an option when rooted or with custom ROM, but I'm unlucky and have a locked BL so no root for me so can't say yes or no for definite

It's an Xposed module. You need root for it though

Try going to Settings > More Settings > VPN > Hold press the VPN network you added > Delete network.
I didn't add a vpn yet
I opened the vpn menu for the first time, where you put the screenlock.
And now i wanne get rid of it

Are you sure the Sony UI is fully supported by Xtheme? I don't use it myself, so this is only a question.

I dont have this particular problem but rather to getting it to work.. sometimes I just give up and one day all the sudden the xposed framework is activated. It started to work last week on my device after just having it installed for a month.
Before this happened on my One X too.

Strange that it's intermittent. Have you tried to just use one module at a time to see if there's any conflicts?

Do you mean a way to take a snapshot of the screen?
If so, what version of Sony Android OS are you on? On .532, Holding Power & Vol. Down works, and should for newer versions.
There's also an icon for taking screenshots - via Recent Apps soft key.
Thanks!

Bug in 4.4.4?

Hello, there seems to be a strange problem with my phone, whenever there is a list of something (like in installed application under settings) and i make a selection and then press the back button, it goes to top of the list, it doesn't stay where i made the selection from. In the earlier firmware i didn't have any such problem. Is it with everyone or just me?
I am on rooted stock 4.4.4.
Thanks.
