Recently, my battery percentage has been suddenly dropping like in the pictures below. It usually happens when I'm playing a game or doing some other battery intensive thing. I don't think the battery is really drained because it usually discharges to 1% and stays there for a long time in standby. But if I keep playing games, then it will shut down.
I am currently running Neutrino 3.02 and have had the same problem on CM 10.1 with the latest kernel.
I use ravilov's battery calibration app, but it doesn't seem to solve this problems. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Maybe the battery is too old or something else... Thanks for your help!

Hello everybody,
I have a strange experience with the battery indicator. For example if I fully charge (100%) and if I make a power use (gps, wifi, browsing) for like 15 mins I wont the battery indicator below 100% for a while. But if it starts to drain it will drop like 1% per min (under normal usuage - gps off, wifi off) and it will come close to 90%.
Another strange thing, if I make a soft reset most of the time it will be +2%. And again if it starts to drain it will drain more quickly. I have tried couple of ROMs here allhas the same issue. So I dont know whether its a hardware (battery) issue or only to me or a ROM issue!!! Somebody please explain if you have same issue. Thanks.
After changing a rom it always takes a few load/discharge cycles for the battery indicator to get it right.
Thanks for the reply. I tried ROMeOS for coulpe of weeks but no change in that. This happens randomly and frequently (thrice or twice) in a cycle. And I am sure there is no process running in the background.
i have noticed that the battery life for my yp-g70 is very erratic. it seems to jump around a lot.
when i charge it, it will rise by 10% in a few minutes but then drop back down again. sometimes it seems that the battery will go up by 5-10% by itself and then drop quickly back down by 20% after a few minutes.
im running ParanoidAndroid but the problem seems to exist in most roms.
anyone else having this problem?
Hi There:
Not sure if anyone is exprience this problem.
My battery completly drains a second after it says is at 40%.
I've installed several ROMS (Cianogenmod 10, toldo's, official) to see if it was a ROM problem. No luck. I'm current in toldos's v7
Installed several Kernels, No luck. Actually i'm with A1 kernel
Tried several battery calibration aplicacions apps. No luck.
Problem presists.
It`s not that the battery drains fast, is that everything goes oK till battery reaches a point below 40% and the next second it says it only has 2% or 1% and can stay there for some time (even two hours sometimes.
Anyone has any idea what could be happening, because i don't think is a battery problem.
Thanks evey one

Hey everyone,
I haven't posted here in a while but I've got a problem that suddenly surfaced on my Nexus 4.
I am running Android 5.0.1 and my ROM is Mako (beta.v0.8-20141206-OFFICIAL-mako).
Starting yesterday afternoon, my battery is suddenly draining extremely fast. Even with the screen off it drains about 30% every hour, which is ridiculous because just the day before it was only about 1-2% every hour... It also takes a very long time to charge. I charged it all night last night (about 7 hours) and it only gained 45% battery.
According to my power usage it says that "miscellaneous" is taking up 52% of the battery so that must be the cause, but that's not really helpful because it doesn't explain what miscellaneous task is the specific problem...
I haven't installed anything new, or updated any apps, or uninstalled anything. I haven't really changed anything at all for a while now.
Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks a lot in advance!
