Hi guys
I have got a problem with my wi-fi I think.
Facebook Twitter and most of apps are not working good for me. Facebook doesnt load the pictures and feed. Twitter has got the same issue.
I thought it was my house broadband but it is the same in my work as I have 16MB internet there.
They are working fine on 4G or 3G. Is there any solutions for that?
Same issue here. I am using ADSL2+(about 16mbps) and yeah... pics on twitter isn't loading. I don't have a facebook,
so not sure about that. However Some time I experiencing it with Gmail(image isn't downloading). I had same issue with my HTC One(M7)
so it might not Xperia Z2 problem. I will share an information as soon as I found some solution.:good:

I had Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and didnt have any problem. I have got only 4MB internet speed at home and it was working spotless. There is defo something to do with the phones we have. My wife had an issue with Samsung Galaxy S4 as well it wasnt loading anything but it was started working okay in some point.
hmm.... maybe problem with Kitkat? My HTC One was also kitkat rom I just checked my Nexus7(2013) having same issue and my F-10D(4.2.2) does not.... Maybe with kitkat... Can't state clearly it still... I'll try with other network and other devices and share the results.

If that is the issue we need to get a minor software update to fix this bug, cause we cant stay like that until 2.1 comes out!

I totally agree, but I don't think they are gonna fix it right away. Most likely gonna wait until September comes around and implemented into the 2.1 upgrade.

Well they have to! they just launched this phone on AT&T. If people finds out that timescape is not working they will return their phones. That is the phone best selling point

I really hope that this is all Facebook's problem...or else SE really need to do something about it, FAST!
I just realize that everyone is facing the same problem, i though i am the only one facing this problem.....hope to fix it soon.

Anybody have their SGS2 disconnect the Wifi randomly, even when the phone is under active usage (no internet usage though). My Wifi sleep policy is set to never so it shouldn't be the culprit although it seems like the case.
Anybody encountered similar problem? Or is it due to an app of mine or I got a faulty set?
Never.

Hmm I suspect it has got to do with my apps or something but I just couldn't single out the culprit.
Mine has done that since I got it two months ago. It stayed that way through four stock firmwares and all of the Lite'ning Roms. I typically have to reset it to get it working...
check your data usage or power saving usage...theres option to disable wifi....

I noticed that Wifi Sharing is taking up the biggest portion of my battery life and I suspect it is the cause of my problem.. Any idea how to solve it?
Ooh dude, so many threats about it! Use Bloat Freezer or Titanium Backup to 'freeze' Wifi Sharing. This disables your phone from detecting and launching the program until you want to 'unfreeze' it again.
It's a way to actually turn off applications.

Wifi randomly disconnecting. For me, turning it off and then back on again fixes it, but only for a little while. It's an issue I've had since the phone was new, despite trying four different factory firmwares and 5 custom roms.
The wifi sharing bug is a different issue but you will need to root your phone to fix that. No root, no fix. I suspect the official 2.3.4, when it's released, will have a fix for that though.

Thanks. But it's weird that I can hardly find anybody else sharing the same bug except for you. I suspect it may be related to some apps or we got a bad batch..
There are actually quite a few, but most don't start a new thread to try and report it. I've seen several threads discussing it and it's also mentioned in a few of the custom rom threads in the development section.
I'm going to start trying different modems and see if that fixes it...

I'm having the same problem here. I've tried 3 stock firmwares including the new 2.3.4 firmware. Like the other guy says, you can fix it by turning wifi off and on again. I'd still like a proper fix though.
Yup, happens to me as well since day 1. Incredibly annoying. Especially if you plan on leaving your phone overnight with WiFi on, absolutely no data gets transferred. :-|
Here's another thread describing the same issue: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1098614.

I had this problem with my nexus s, being a network engineer it seemed to me to be like a dhcp problem, I went to my router and low and behold my phone had been given about 20 IP addresses. I gave it a static address of 192.168.1.5 correlating to its Mac address (subnet dependent of course), and it worked fine after that... Give it a try guys I think it's a router compatibility problem, or just gremlins in the tube

If I access the wireless client list on my router it only lists one address per device. Unfortunately I only have the one router, no access to a spare, so can't test it on another router...
I had originally set the router to G only (first attempt to fix issue), but have now set it back to mixed. Maybe under the different modem the N will work better? Stab in the dark...

Try giving it a static address to see if it solves the issue. Are you still connceted to the router when the data stops transmitting, or do you lose the icon at the top and disconnect completely?

Well, about that... I'm now running Lite'ning Rom v2.0 with KG1_CF-Root_CWM_kernel_by_sorg (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15541364&postcount=1118).
I have also changed my router from g back to mixed (b/g/n).
My problem seems to have gone away now. I'll wait and see what happens, but will try your suggestions if it comes back.
When I was having issues, the wifi icon at the top was still there and also showed that I was connected. My mobile data connection was not active. Everything seemed to indicate that I was connected to wifi, yet when I tried to connect to market, RSS feeds or the XDA app it said that there was no connection.

So it seems like its flash related...
With sammy devices i see more and more weird unexplained bad flashes, where things dont work at all until you reflash again, very weird
Glad it works now dude
Has anybody checked out their timeline on Google Maps or any other apps such as sport activity tracking like Runkeeper?
Since I started using my UK bought CPH1919 last week, it appears there are GPS points missing so routes look like a lot of long straight lines as opposed to the actual directions I took.
I'm using the 'high accuracy' setting for location & so not sure what could be causing this issue but it's a big problem for me.
Has anyone else noticed this issue or got any thoughts?
Cheers.
I also noticed this recently but i have not investigated yet. Might be power savings ? Maybe we should try with power saving off to see if it solves the problem (and then get the issue to oppo)
I've turned off Smart Power Saver so now there are no battery efficiency settings set on my phone - will see how things go.
I have queried the issue with Oppo UK on Twitter but after 2 days, they have failed to reply.....
Still no better for me after toggling with the different battery settings as outlined above, as well as a new Maps update & phone firmware update!
And still no Twitter response from Oppo.......

No response from Oppo, tried everything I could think of so took it back to the shop. They were non-the-wiser so I'm going back tomorrow to swap for another.
Fingers crossed it was just a bug in the one I had!
What version do you have? I had the green option, I'm now getting the black due to a delay in availability of the green.
Got the black version. Not sure the color is playing a part here but please do tell if the new unit is acting the same !

Try that.
After some research, it seems the problem might not be related to oppo. Or at least not entirely.

Yeah, I'm aware of this issue, it doesn't really happen in my City but I have had occurrences. In fact, when I was tracking my parents recently while they were shopping in town, they were showing as 200 miles away!
The problem I've been facing is there aren't enough GPS points recorded so my true route is not recorded - most annoying when I go for a run & obviously all the timings are out. My previous Huawei phone didn't have a problem & even my Nokia N95 from 2007 was better than this!
UPDATE: new phone appears to be exactly the same so far......
I there anyone else having issues with location info??!
Ok. I tweeted the issue to the main Oppo account.

Done, fingers crossed for a response!
I've scoured the internet for every forum thread or article I could find on this issue, and I've tried many of their fixes as well as my own. I own an unlocked S10 lite North American variant, and I'm using it on Sprint's network. I bought it brand new last week from Best Buy, and I've had the issue since. So far the only app I have found that doesn't perform properly is Snapchat, and the issue is only with sending messages, not receiving or viewing them. Messages will sit on "waiting to send..." until I turn off WiFi and go back to data, after which they will immediately send. This is a really big issue for me as I use Snapchat very often as my main mode of communication for most of my friends and family. Luckily I have unlimited data, I'd be screwed if I didn't. If anyone needs or wants more info I'll be more than happy to provide it. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, they'd be much appreciated, I've been dealing with this problem for about a week now and it's really starting to bug me. Thanks!

Thank you! I contacted Snapchat support with my issue, hopefully they can help. Unfortunately I've already tried the other fixes suggested in that thread.
I'm facing slow internet in my new One Plus 11R. All other devices connected to the same wifi works fine. When using WhatsApp, messages take forever to get sent. Payments are failing due to the internet issue. I have been using Vivo for past 5years and on the same WiFi for past 1year and never had these issues. Attached a screen recording for reference.
Do a speed test with another phone and 11r check the difference. I don't have a slow internet issue, maybe the new phone will get used to the wif range and it'll get better!

I can give a try. Honestly it's really frustrating to use the phone. Every request to any server takes forever to receive the initial response. Browsing is very pathetic. For e.g., reply or quote here took 10secs to load the message in the reply message box. It never appeared in the app. I had to switch to the browser. If I had realised it right after receiving the phone, i would have returned. Very bad experience with One Plus. Bought a flagship premium phone to use happily without any bugs. But this is unbelievable from One Plus.
Hey.. did u find any solution for this ? I am also facing the same problem.. Thanks !!
