[Q] Recovery Mode - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a F900 Android 4.0 9 inch Capacitive Screen Tablet PC 8Gb and I keep getting these errors "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped / Unfortunately, browser has stopped / Unfortunately calendar has stopped they appear whenever I turn on, tap an app, or attempt factory reset. I find it very strange that factory reset, when I'm able to gain entrance to activate it, it never works and nothing changes.
It's a Chinese based Android tablet Model number (nuclear_evb-eng 4.0.4 IMMM76D 20130423), kernel version 3.0.8 and the model number is TWD_MID which makes know sense to me. Any help about entering recovery mode will be helpful and used to.

[Q] com.setupwizard fails on zte amigo

Please Help!!!! I performed a factory reset on my ZTE Amigo and during the installation process, I received the message com.setupwizard failed to respond with the force close button below. After this point, the phone did not complete installation process. As of this moment, I could not access the menu nor settings either. I can only receive calls and nothing more. Sometimes the booting process ends at the android logo. my PC does not recognize the device anymore. Is there a way to hard reset the device while its off since I can't access the settings?
Hi guys, I have the same problem, Please help!:crying:
How i solved mine
If booting ends on the android logo, please try to call your number from another phone and hand up. This might make your phone to finish booting . When your phone is on successfully, you need to install a launcher in other to be able to access your menu again. So you need a keyboard shortcut to access your settings and set up mobile data. After configuration, you need a keyboard shortcut to open your phone browser and download any launcher of your choice. Don't follow play store links. I will post keyboard shortcuts soon.

[Q] Android 4.1.1 stability issues on Chinese tablet

Hi All,
This is my first post and this tablet is also my first introduction to the world of Android.
I recently bought the following 7" Android tablet:
w w w .lightinthebox.com/7-inch-multi-touch-screen-tablet-hd-dual-core-1-6-ghz-android-4-1-1_p494283.html
I received this tablet yesterday and set about learning my way around Android 4.1.1 and installing various apps. Now I know what you're thinking, that this tablet is a cheap Chinese tablet and I shouldn't be expecting outstanding performance and reliability but I'm sure the following symptoms are of an OS nature as opposed to hardware.
I started just using the apps that came on the device, the browsers, the video player, the play store, etc. and started to get random resets and freezes on the device. After a bit more playing I found that when running the Android browser on the OS it was auto installing Flash Player which I've read can cause stability issues on Jelly Bean. I uninstalled Flash and stopped using the default browser in favour of Chrome as that didn't auto install flash. Since doing this the OS has been a lot more stable but not brilliant. This morning alone it has crashed on me twice viewing google images in chrome. When I say "crash" I mean it reboots and I see the "Android" logo.
Are there any known issues on Jelly Bean 4.1.1 causing instability or is it a case of I have to live with it on this cheap tab? Are there any hints, tips, admin tools, or configuration changes I can do to improve performance? If the recommendation is to rip off this OS and put on another I don't mind giving that a go as this is becoming a bit annoying.
My about page on the device reads as follows:
Model Number - Tab70s
Android Version - 4.1.1
Kernel Version - 3.0.8+
Build Number - RK30_ANDROID4.1.1-SDK-v1.00.00
Any help is gratefully appreciated.

I'm trying a few different things. Swapped browser to Opera but I have now had a crash when in the play store so I'm trying Nova Launcher instead of the standard Android launcher. So far it appears to be a bit more stable. No crashes as of yet but the pessimist in me says I've not seen the back of this issue yet.
After a bit more research and trying to decipher the Chinese writing on my tablet it appears I have a "Yuandao N70S" tablet but I'm struggling to find much info on these at all.
Anyone?

On my non name tabel with the "RK30_ANDROID4.1.1" image, I can get to the recovery by:
1. unplug the charging power (I can't get the next step to work with the power pluged in).
2. turning it off and the press the vol+ and power button. That will show the android robot laying down with the belly open and a red ! mark
3. after 10-15 seconds I am able to press vol- and power button to get to the recovery menu.
The navigation keys there is vol+/vol- and power, but the vol+/vol- key is very sluggies, so I keep them pressed for approx. 2 sec and the when I release it, the highlighted menu line will shift.
There is a "wipe data/factory reset" menu item, but I have never tried selecting that, so don't blame me for any briking
Hope it helps...
Try to find a cm10.1 that works in your device. It's much better than the stock roms from rockchip.

[Q] Support Tablet Ramos W17 PRO crashing

Hi,
I need some help with my Ramos W17PRO. I installed android jelly bean about 5 months ago and was working perfect until now. Yesterday I turned on the tablet and all apps started crashing, Youtube, twitter, gmail, exchange server, dropbox, and then getting messages like com.google.process.gapps has stopped working and android.process.media, over and over not letting me work with the os. I tried to restore to factory and did nothing, and most worrying I am not able to get the recovery, also pressing Vol - and power does nothing. I can get to Safe Mode, but is still getting the same crashes and if I uninstall any apps when I reboot they are still there...I don't know if there any chance of getting a recovery via microsd or any other fix.
This model has a reset button but does nothing.
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

[Q] Need rom for Polaroid PROG95B.

I got a Polaroid PROG95B phone with Android 4.0.4.
When the phone gets in sleep mode, I cannot unlock the screen. The screen gets frozen.
Only thing that I can do is to disconnect the battery for a second and restart the phone.
Reset to factory settings etc does not make any difference.
Theser are details of the Android phone :

Android : 4.0.4
Baseband version : 1.3.2.P.01.4
Kernel 3.0.15

Once the battery is removed the phone works fine untill it gets in sleep mode, from that moment it is not possible to use the touch screen, you need to remove the battery again for a second to reboot .
I've been looking for the orginal or updated firmware for this phone, but didn't find any thing.
