I got a Polaroid PROG95B phone with Android 4.0.4.
When the phone gets in sleep mode, I cannot unlock the screen. The screen gets frozen.
Only thing that I can do is to disconnect the battery for a second and restart the phone.
Reset to factory settings etc does not make any difference.
Theser are details of the Android phone :
Modelnumber : PROG95B
Android : 4.0.4
Baseband version : 1.3.2.P.01.4
Kernel 3.0.15
Build number G95-V1.0.2013.03.22
Once the battery is removed the phone works fine untill it gets in sleep mode, from that moment it is not possible to use the touch screen, you need to remove the battery again for a second to reboot .
I've been looking for the orginal or updated firmware for this phone, but didn't find any thing.
Can anyone help me please ?

Hi guys - I'm in need of some advice regarding the above error message.
I've had a look at other threads, but their issue seems to be down to root versions... My phone is only a few hours old and is not rooted or buggered about with ( yet ) ;o)
Here's what's happening :
I received my S2 this afternoon, fully charged it via the wall plug before turning it on... When charged, had a play about with it, then connected to Kies via USB, within 10 minutes I got the " charging paused battery either too hot or too cold " error.... Restarted the phone, connected to kies again, and within a few minutes I got the error again..
I'm at home now, been playing with the phone again and it's needing charged, so..... Connected to wall charger, bang ! straight away I get the error, I've had to turn the phone off for 30 mins, reconnect and now it's charging and running fine...
Now as the phone is untouched should I send it back ? or should I root to a rom that'll sort this ?
Below is the spec of phone I've got :
UK Orange,
Android Version : 2.3.3 ( up to date as per kies )
Baseband Version : I9100BVKH1
Kernal : 2.6.35.7-I9100BVKH2-CL453351 [email protected] 150 #2
Build : GINGERBREAD.BVKH2
Thank you,
Dmonty
Sorry - can a mod please move this to the Q and A section for me... My fault, sorry

I think its best to return the phone you should not get any errors.
play it safe and return it.
Try doing a full factory reset on it and see if it persists. A full wipe should also remove all bloatware apps your carrier infused the phone with, so its not a bad idea too. If it still happens after a full wipe, then you should send the phone back to samsung.
Thanks for the replies,
I've now done a full factory reset ( although UK Orange software is still on it )... I'll monitor the charge issue and if I see it again then I'll send the phone back..
Thanks again
Dmonty
I have the same problem today, when i wake up, i put my phone to charge and got the message: battery temp its to high or to low, but the temp its normal since my phone was in sleep mode and no apps running, the temp here its 26º celsius.
Well i will try a factory reset, if that didn't solve i need to send it back.
I updated via Kies to version 4.0.3 and now I have no lock screen. I've tried using slide, face, pattern and pin but when I wake my phone it goes straight to the home screen. Holding the power button also doesn't bring up the power options .eg. flight mode, power off and silent, it just turns the phones straight off. I asked Samsung about it and they just said sorry try doing a factory reset, I did and it didn't help. I used odin and went back to stock 2.3.4 (the lock screen worked fine on this version) and then updated again but I still have the same problem.
Country - United Kingdom
Phone - Unlocked
Model - GT-I900
Baseband version - I9100XXLPS
Kernel Version - 3.0.15-I9100XWLP7-CL340913
Build number - IML74K.XWLP7
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you
do *2767*3855# couple times, if that doesnt fix, use odin to flash. and after flash do the code once more.

Sounds like you are either missing your /efs/imei/keystr file, or it is corrupt, or has the wrong setting in it.
Google this: "site:forum.xda-developers.com i9100 ics no lock screen keystr"
You will need root to apply the fix you find. If you don't want to root, you will have to go back to Gingerbread.

It's a Chinese based Android tablet Model number (nuclear_evb-eng 4.0.4 IMMM76D 20130423), kernel version 3.0.8 and the model number is TWD_MID which makes know sense to me. Any help about entering recovery mode will be helpful and used to.
Good evening Friends!
I own note8 - duel sim phone this is the version details:
Android Version: 8.0.0
Baseband Version : N950FXXU5CRK4
Kernel Version : 4.4.111-13688770-QB20819043
the problem:
Everyday the phone restarts randomly, in the beginning it was 2-3 times by everyday, i tried to wipe cache from recovery mode, it helped little bit, so now it restarting once a day by himself.
i checked if it have some connection with installed apps, deleted some of them in safe mode, installed eset anti virus to check if there is virus, but everything looks okey,
what you recommend to do ?
the solution that i was thinking about is to make a factory restore and as result of that to get indication if it was something with the software or if it keeps so its something with the hardware ...
p.s
i got the bug report if needed
Thanks for the help!
