So you do not have Download Mode. Thats very confusing. So far as i know Download Mode is embed in Secondary Bootloader and it lookss like SBL has a problem with starting Download Mode. So maybe you need to replace SBL? Its very risky but when you flash stock rom it will happend anyway. Maybe you can try that manually. As long as you dont have access to Download Mode you cant flash rooted kernel but maybe you can flash it from Recovery Mode as update.zip

When you're in download mode you can simply use ODIN to flash a new firmware.
Flash the ZSKG2 ROM in it.After that flash the ZSKS2 Kernel in it?
Basically you can flash any ROM now, just make sure that it's for the SGS II and you're good to go.
Use Odin 1.85 to flash it?

If you can go to Download mode then search for your official firmware (see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278)
And flash as usual using Odin.
It will bring back your phone to the usual one (without root etc.)
You can flash other official firmwares as well.
Mine was 2.3.3 DXKI2 previously, my country have not released the 2.3.5 officially, so I just took the latest XWKI8 and flashed it.

Directly flash the firmware will do
After that follow the CF-Root if you want to get your root and CWM back.
The Odin v1.85 is no command when I Click the 'Start' button. What's wrong?

Can I flash the CMW Kernel first?
1)What make is you SGS2, is it korean, european or anything else?
2)Can you or can you not get into download mode using the 3 button combo.
3)You need kies on the PC for the phone to communicate with the PC in download mode. But while running odin, all kies processes have to be stopped via windows taskmanager.
4)Pull out your battery for like 15 to 30 mins and then try again.

[Q] GS2 will not boot into recover or OS

Hey guys. I made the mistake of flashing an ICS rom for the international galaxy s2 (my phone is the I777) specifically this one. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1752034
After realizing my mistake, I decided to try to install CWM recovery over the E3 recovery. I did so then rebooted. Now the phone will display Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 (which again is the wrong phone model) and then just hang up on a black screen.I'm not sure what to do at this point. I can't get into recovery or download mode. Thanks!
Flash back to stock first....

the problem is i cant go into recovery becouse when i boot up using power home and volume down it comes into download mode not in recovery mode
You should press Vol+ + Home + Power.
Try flashing the kernel(.tar) with odin you used in C7 and see if that lets you into recovery or boots up.
Or you may have to get a stock rom for your model/region etc off sammobile and flash with odin.
That rom manager once gave me 4 hours work on my x10i.....

Hi!
That happened to me once. I used odin to flash stock rom and solved the problem. Don't use rom manager... It only gives trouble.
Cheers!!
sorry to bother but how do i flash to stock rom??

Hi' you really shouldn't worry and try to avoid flashing stock rom. you flashed GB rom over ICS rom and the problem is your data is full of stuff that's preventing you from booting the rom. You're tryong to go into recovery the wrong way. Hold together voulme up (NOT down) + home + power and it should boot your recovery just fine. Then just wipe data. the rom should boot if it was installed. If not download another rom and flash it through recovery.
Cheers

you need to reflash a ROM via Odin or Heimdall, you are in a FORCED download mode.
Flash kernel with odin..but watch what you doing..dont flash in wrong section.

force download mode is just that, it's forced, the only way out is to flash a ROM using your computer, i'm not familiar enough with the 5.0 to know your ROM choices or if RemICS does any partition conversions (like the CM9's for the 4.0) that would leave needing more advance help.

If you flashed the right file and it booted well then chances of being it bricked are minimal...
I would suggest you flash a stock rom via Odin... read guides if you don't know how to.. Grab that from sammobile. Com.. and flash correct firmware for your device...
And next time if you want to switch to art then do not use xposed module as it not supported yet...
