Xperia V stuck on fastboot - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
Recently my phone dropped and half of my touch screen stopped working. I have disassembled my phone just to try if the old lcd will work when I plug the connector out and in again. I discovered that no so I have ordered the new LCD. During the reparation I accidentally broke coaxial cable between the antenna and motherboard so I ordered the new one. Now phone worked, but there was no phone signal but display and everything else worked just fine. I have disassembled the phone again when the new coaxial cable arrived but I have discovered, that I have bought bad one because it did not work. So I left the phone disassembled and wait for another one.
After I assembled the phone with the second coaxial cable my phone does not show nothing on the screen, even on the old LCD. When I connect phone to the pc I got instantly to the fastboot and I can get out of it. After fastboot reboot I get again to the fastboot.
Sometimes the LCD powers up but does not show nothing, and when the phone is in the charger the diode is red.
Does anybody have any idea how can I fix this problem?
I have tried to boot the phone without camera, speaker, antena, but nothing worked.

replaced digitizer

hi, i replaced the digitizer on my hd2 (uk) and now after screwing it all together, it wont boot, when i plug in the charger, the red charging light lights up, but nothing else.
it worked before i changed it, do you think i broke something inside? or fitted it incorrectly?
i mean would it not start if it was fitted incorrectly?
its not dead if the charge light lights up right?
thanks
also have the same problem...please help
Did you plug the motherboard in? I recently had an issue with my mini usb (broke off the motherboard), took it a part and tried to solider it back on (with no success) put it all back together and it would not turn on. Thankfully I didn't put it completely back together and noticed I didn't connect the little ribbon cable to the motherboard. Also, in the process somehow now my digitizer doesn't work fubar!

[Q] xperia mini pro black screen after flex cable install

good afternoon,
My xperia mini pro sk17a has a black screen.
Prior to this occurrence, I had a bad flex ribbon cable to the sliding keyboard. Screen would go black and come back with sliding keyboard motion. Opened the phone and found that the cable was torn. Decided to buy a replacement flex cable and installed it. Everything looked okay but...
Once I put the phone back together, no screen at all. If I turn the phone on, there is a very very faint amount of light present (you can only see this in the dark). The phone does boot, and the notification light will flash indicating new messages. I can call the phone and it will ring.
Hoping that this might be some sort of software reset, I tried flashing with the SUS software. No help, phone still behaves as described above. I'm guessing I need a new screen (maybe damaged it somehow taking the phone apart?), but has anyone gone through this and know of a solution other than more new hardware?
Thank you in advance for any help or feedback.
I think new flex cable is also damaged. You should check flex cable in another SK17.

no response on dna after digitizer replacement

So I replaced the digitizer on my dna and afterwards I get no response from the phone. So I was thinking the screen was DOA, and I ordered another digitizer from a different seller on ebay and still got nothing. I plugged it into the pc to see if I could force it on, I did the hard reset, and stilll no response. All cables are perfectly fine and were cleaned with alcohol. Bought a new battery and still nothing. What could it be? Help please.
sounds to be a motherboard issue
Double check those ribbon cables that go from the main board to the front camera/headphone Jack. The ones held on with two screws . Unhooking them and reseat , be sure your hearing or feeling a click. They are very precise.. if you are absolutely sure they are seated correctly redo battery connection. .... if all checks out .... just place it on charge for a long time. Maybe your board is dead

Evo 3d will not power on - no charging led

I was using my Evo 3d today and put it on the charger until it was fully charged. After that I pulled it off the charger and attempted to turn the screen on and nothing happened. I pulled the battery and still nothing. Now when I plug it into a charger I don't even get a red or green charging light. I have confirmed the battery is charged with another Evo 3d I have that has a bad touch screen and even tried a spare battery. Still nothing.
I have searched this forum for possible solutions. I have tried all sorts of combinations of buttons (power and volume down, power and camera, ect.) and none of them worked. I tried booting into the bootloader with ADB using my computer and the dos prompt says "device not found". I tried the same thing with my broken Evo 3d and it booted into the bootloader with no problem.
The phone is rooted with S-off. This was done several months ago and I haven't installed any apps recently. The only setting I changed was i turned off usb debugging a couple days ago (maybe this is why the ADB method wont work). Anyone have any ideas or does this sound like a hardware failure?
The only other option I can think of right now is swap the motherboard from the phone with the bad screen into the one with the good screen and pay Net10 again to switch my service over (and go a couple days without a phone while the process takes place). This is very bad timing as I was on my way out the door to take a trip out of state to visit family. Now I can't go because I have no way to tell them when I am coming or where to meet them.
Well I pretty much gave up on getting the phone to power on and swapped in a motherboard from an old Evo 3d I had with a bad touchscreen. I got it activated with Net10 and everything works except for the fact that the old motherboard has a bad headphone jack. Does anyone know of a cheap bluetooth device that has a headphone jack on it or perhaps an adapter for the micro usb port with a headphone jack and charging jack? I know there used to be such an adapter for the old HTC phones with mini usb.

Micro USB port problem

Hi.
I left phone with charger plugged in and went shopping.
When I came back to my crib I found out that phone didn't charge at all.
I found it strange, so I plugged the other charger, but it didn't work as well.
Then I plugged the other phone into the chargers. Both worked well.
I tried to plug USB into PC and it didn't work either. I made a factory reset and tried all steps again, but still no result.
It looks like USB port died itself...everything in port looks good, nothing broken or moving inside of it.
I wouldn't mind if I could reapply my drm keys, so I could update OTA Lollipop or Install ftf. I could just charge phone by magnetic port. But now I'm stuck with nothing.
What to do?
Hello,
Tried one other USB cable ?
If not OK with other USB cable, you can try installing Flashtool and drivers for your phone, power OFF phone and connect it in fastboot mode or the other (I don't remember the name) to see if the USB are really dead. No reset needed for that and this test call the 1 level hardware of the phone.
Mine not working aswell. The port seem to be loosen and only certain angle my pc would detect it. After a month of trying to get the right angle i think it broke. Went to my local phone shop they recommend me to have sony replace the usb port. Its gonna cost me so for now im using magnetic charger. Tried open it up to see if anything i could do but the port is tight sealed so im guessing a visit to Sony service center is inevitable.
