Bro, I suggest you report any experiencing problems here as suggested by @Flyhalf205
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1heV9QFdKBhD6iUPrPcdRFwiSVRqa5QcH3iHl0JVS484/edit?usp=sharing

thanks but thats not a solution to the problem. The problem is known, and i know that.
But i hear people reacting on the wifi issue thats they solved the issue but its unclear how, since i installed the same stuff, even the insecure kernel.

FYI, most wifi problems cause by kernel. You may try flash different kernel. Here we got Flykernel & Lunar Max Kernel. Give it a try.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2762319

@IMarks
Flashing the custom kernel still doesn't give you WiFi?

I fixed the issue, the insecure kernel and flykernel didnt work but the lunar kernel did.
still one issue though, media audio doesnt work over bluetooth, system audio / call audio seems fine however. i tried with beats audio on and off but it didn't make a difference.

Flash a proper/working kernel. When we first got these ROMs it was a very widespread problem. A kernel that wasn't meant to go with a certain ROM usually caused a wifi problem. Check the thread for that ROM and find the right kernel.

[Q] ICS BlueTooth issue

i have flashed my sgs2 with an ICS rom ( official ),
And since then every time i trying to talk with my car hands free by bluetooth the other side hear me only in short bursts.
i have tried to change the rom also tried to change the kernel and no improvement.
also i can't get in to the serviceMode audio menu ( i heard, that bluetooth issue can maybe resolved from there )
Thanx

Have you already wiped cache partition (and Dalvik cache) in recovery?
Maybe that can help.
If not, try another kernel ... such as SpeedMod or Siyah.
Good luck !
nothing of the above has worked
i'v tried already the Siyah kernel.
is there any way to install the gingerbread bluetooth implimintation on the ics ?
No. Won't work. Different frameworks.

i hope so... it would fix the reboot when streaming issue as well.
i managed to quote the wrong reply.
as 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 are both ICS could the BT files be moved over to fix it that way ?
Hmmmm.... WHICH version of ICS?
I have no problems at all with official ICS I installed (OK, GPS lock is a bit slow, but I can live with that)...

4.0.3 has a soft reboot problem streaming to my car stereo, it seems to be quite widespread but not an issue on gingerbread or 4.0.4 roms
i have found 3 file sin system/lib that may be related to bt
libbluetoothd.so
libbluetoot.so
libbluedroid.so
i did a backup and zipped the folder structure but it refused to install the zip, probably because i have no idea what im doing!

Upgrading Kernel question

So I have been upgrading my ROM without realising I should probably upgrade my Kernel too. Just loaded up Devil Toast 0.7 and it works great, but since installing it I haven't been able to use my wifi. Started getting curious, and I noticed a lot of people have a different kernel than myself, and the last time I probably upgraded mine was when I installed CM7.
So my question is, where/how can I get a more up to date kernel? I did a few searches but I wasn't able to find solid answers. I really just want a nice stable kernel that works with Devil Toast.
are you CDMA or GSM? HTC just released the kernel source code the other day. So now the kernel devs can actually start making good kernels. AFAIK for CDMA the only kernel besides stock is the MAC kernel(see here). There might be a few floating around the Infected forums, but I'm not sure. Best bet right now is to probably run the kernel that comes with the rom, until the devs pump out some better kernels with more features(and more stable). Maybe post your WiFi problems in the DevilToast thread to see if someone has an answer?

I'm CDMA with a kernel version is [email protected], and I've noticed a few of the people in the devil toast thread are running 3.0 versions of a kernel. So I'm guessing those people installed a different kernel than what the ROM carries? I might just do a complete wipe and see what happens, I just hate re-configuring everything. I was going to post on the DT thread but I can't since I haven't made enough posts on the boards. Tricky business.
The kernel in question is right here: https://github.com/htc-mirror/shooteru-ics-crc-3.0.16-e733189 but I have no idea how to go about grabbing it for my phone. I was never big on compiling my own code.
It seems like you are running toascfh's WiMAX build, correct? agrabren has had a 3.0 kernel for a bit now on DevilToast. What version are you running? Try installing the newest one(.7). I would recommend a full wipe though... the latest version has almost everything working sans 3D.

Yeah, that's what I was running before. I just tried a full wipe and reinstalled 0.7 devil toast, but it didn't change my kernel. I'm guessing i'm missing a step or doing something wrong for my particular phone. I've got hboot 1.50 and I have successful root, but I've heard of hboot 1.50 causing fussiness, so maybe it's related.
I've been dropping into TWRP and flashing the ROM from there. Since I've got hboot 1.50, do you think I'll need use adp to push the ROM through? That's how I originally flashed toastcfh's mod, but when I tried to use adp to push CM9, it wasn't cooperating, so I just used TWRP.
Are you S-ON? I know alot of people have been having problems booting DT, one thing that seems to help is using 4ext recovery. You should try changing your recovery, you can always go back if it doesn't help or you don't like it. Just fyi, nandroids are not compatible between the two. Using 4ext, wipe all but SD card, then flash the rom, then wipe data again and you should be good to go.

I was S-ON. I finallyyyyy got it working, but it was a hell of a pain. I ended up downgrading to hboot 1.40, which was a majority of the hassle. Then I got it to S-OFF. Once I got that going, I was able to get both the ROM and the Kernel to flash. I get to deal with a new issue, but the original problem of the Kernel not updating is fixed. It's now running 3.0.x very nicely.
Thanks for the help, I finally have my wifi back!

[Q] Another unsolvable WIFI problem (Xperia RAY)

Hello,
I can't use my wifi card since some months, when I've flashed one of various ROM I tried in these last months.
I've tried different ways to solve the problem, but I can't believe that the problem is unsolvable!
Probably could be something related to kernel modules?
Now I'm using the Ultimate HD 4.0 ROM, I've tried to flash the stock WIFI module (superleggera V4), and 2 custom kernels (CTCaer and Lupus for ICS). I've had the problem even with the stock ROM, that I used for some weeks until yesterday, when I flashed the last Ultimate HD.
Some idea of what I can try to get the rid of this problem?

I think this is a hardware related issue bro.. once you have flashed the stock Wifi Modules it should work.. if the problem was with the modules or the kernel or may be some other software related issue... so if you are still under warranty.. just relock your bootloader and go for a warranty based service or replacement from the Sony Repair Center in your City

mmmhh, so bad
I'm totally out of warranty, so I only can try to solve via software.
I will try to flash another ROM, and if it will not work, I will resign...
nothing to do, I've tried with the stock kernel (Ray4.1.B.1.13_CWM), with the Ray4.1.B.1.13_VDS_OcUv, even flashing the stock wifi module after them, but nothing changed.
Now I reinstalled the Lupus one, but it's the same.
The only differences is that with the stock one I can't turn on the light of WIFI, even pressing it it remains turned off, while with Lupus or Ctaer the light is turned on like if the wifi card is working, but it doesn't show me the network available where I am.

Pocophone touchscreen problem?

Hi guys,
I just bought a good condition used Pocophone and everything seems ok, except one issue it keeps bothering me.
It cam with bootloader unlocked and custom ROM (Oxygen OS)
I am on Pixel Experience Rom now (Not sure if this might cause the issue) and I've noticed issues while changing the screen on the launcher. Sometimes the phone doesn't what to change the screen with a single swipe, I need to press harder on the screen to change it.
It is a software or hardware?
I've installed a touchscreen test apps and I haven't noticed anything unusual. everything went ok.
Here is a video about the issue.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I have tried all of the kernels and I have been switching a couple of CUSTOM ROM, none seems to work.
Did anyone been in the same experience, what have you done to solve it?
Should I replace the touchscreen?
