[Kernel][GB][Alpha]Doppler v1 - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

This is the GB variant of Doppler
For now there ,only Governors ,Schedulers and O/C is added (courtesy, @wedgess) .Kernel is based of .84 sources
Currently this is in testing phase and boot images ONLY available for anzu and mango
Download : Mango

Status:
Mango Boots
Anzu doesn't boot
This thread is pretty much in place to prevent chaos on the original ICS thread.
Unlike ICS ,GB uses /cache to download apps from playstore so partition Layout must be fixed .

I think DoomLord's ramdisk isn't compatible with your zImage, i tried full wipe on fastboot mode after flashing kernel, it just stuck at Kernel Logo & doesn't goes to recovery also.
you can try doing the same with LUPUS GB
Mention my name when u rebuild for Anzu, i will test

Just kicking the bucket.
How much /cache is required anyway.
50 MB is the apk limit so I think cache should be 56 MB (Multiple of 4 plus a buffer of 6MB)

Dying to test on Mini. ?

It's booting on mango, i can access to recovery, but i got bootloop at bootAnimation with HyperBeamNewTime. I'll test with other ROMs
EDIT: It boots with NeroDroid v5, But I can't flash wifi modules, it says "Installation Aborted"

Kernel boots to recovery successfully. But can't boot to rom, bootloops. Device- smultron, rom- stock .84 gb.

While I've never used it myself (never a big fan of GB), I've read good things about the hyperbeam ROM by the same guy that made the ROM i'm using right now... might be worth a try...
incidentally, @karandpr, the abovementioned ROM is present twice in the ROM/Kernel index you maintain...

My device never felt so fast!
But, I I think that i may have issues....
1) FM is not working.
Fm app opens, but no sound can be heard.
2) There is a green line that appears on the photos clicked using camera app.

Can someone please tell me the solutions to these problems? (I really like this rom and do not want to change it)

How is the multitasking working?
Because on DevSwift's rom it's very hard to use Facebook and Whatsapp together, for example, but it's not his fault: I think that 512 mb of ram is not enough for SONY's JB.

TWRP installation on any rom on haida??

Once upon a time when ICS was released I downloaded this cwm install tool/script which would install the recovery contained in it to any ics kernel (I've only tried it for ics may work for jb too)...my question is that can I get something similar for twrp recovery...??
Note: I already know about Lupus kernel having twrp recovery but I'm not asking for a kernel...only asking for a twrp install tool.. I'm attaching the cwm install tool so you know what I mean..

[Kernel][CM11/.13]Vatsal's Kernel v3

Hello guys,
After roaming around almost a year and half around xda, doing something fruitful
Here i present my first CM11 based kernel,
Disclaimer : You installed Kernel ,on your device ,I am not responsible .
If you installed kernel ,on a device ,without reading instructions ,I don't give a Damn !
Warning : I don't support Nandroid Restore
Attempting to use Nandroid Restore can lead to a perma brick .
Consider Nandroid to be permanently broken on this kernel.
Features :
100 mb shrinked from system to /data (For more internal memory ofcourse )
cache reduced to 8mb
Some touch tweaking (11 mb more ram Thanks @Dark Raven )
Toolchain used:
Linaro 4.7 by @Wedgess
Unique Feature
Modified partition layout which works flawless as far as my knowledge .
One Layout is maintains original system Layout ,The rest of 5 layouts come with Modified System Layout .
All Kernels have 8 MB cache partition so by default roughly 90MB bump in /Data is seen .
The best results with latest LX builds
-CM11.0-
Changelog:
Code:
V3
-- 201401227--
Reclaimed 60 mb more space
Same as LX 20140122 LX CM11 build
V2
-- 201401227--
Reclaimed 6 mb more space
Same as LX 20140122 LX CM11 build
V1
-- 20140122 --
Like in 20140122 LX CM11.0 build.
Steps to be followed:
Flash kernel (boot.img)
Boot to recovery, do all the wipes (data, cache, system, dalvik)
flash the rom zip
flash the minimal gapps if u want (here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48535200&postcount=4)
boot
Note:
1) If you donot format system the rom wont boot even if your on same rom with different kernel. SO its mandatory
2) Flashing the whole gapps will result in a bootloop as i have shrinked a good amount of system size (~100mb)
3) You can run ART well but please donot report issues if your running ART as it is experimental (mike already said that)

Sorry if i forgot someone personally, please PM me.
So just for fun , i removed camera from kernel (29mb more ram). I dont use my neo v to capture photos so i am fine without camera. hence i made this with help of @Attitude.SSJ . Everything works as per above kernel by me and it has same features except camera (since i removed it ). clicking on camera in appdrawer wil give fc i hope you understand why. i would strongly recommend this kernel only when u dont need camera or you dont use it and Incase anyone is Freeram-freak like me can use this version. Download in the second post.
Enjoy!
Wow! Let's try!
I've tried with the LX Stock Kernels and Dark Raven Kernel and in only 2 days i've downgrade to JB (4.1.2) or ICS Roms cause a high battery drain by kernel wakelocks

Thank you. Let me know how it goes. Read instructions well before going ... Full wipe Compulsory. Good luck. Happy flashing!
Cheers,
Vatsal
Good work @koradiavatsal
Just my 2 cents
If you cant boot in recovery after flashing kernel then go back to fastboot mode and
Code:
fastboot erase system
Code:
fastboot erase userdata
and reboot device

Just a small correction... It frees 29mb ram not 19... 29 feels better than 19

nandroid restore will cause perma brick? thats a bit too dangerous.
i think no nandroid backup/restore support is useless for me as im always backuping my system in case i mess it up.

nice kernel, porting to other devices
Awesome idea of increased internel memory and optional No-Camera!
Can turn to be a revolutionary Kitkat Kernel :good:
