I really tried my best here - nothing seems to work...
I have yet to see anyone recover anything meaningful from wiped phone memory.

I have a broken screen Galaxy S2. Is there any way to remotely (through PC or something) to wipe it out? I want to send it to Samsung for repair, but I want to clean my information from it first.

Do you have 2 galaxy s2?
You can do it via ADB. Plenty of threads on here showing you how to do same, search.

I recently installed the newest SHOStock2 on my SGH-I777. I really like it, but I'm having an issue installing a few apps. The main one being MLB at bat 2012. I've read all the posts about screen density and clearing cache and all that. I never changed the density before, but I got ROM toolbox and changed it to several things, then back to 240. Uninstalled Google Play update, cleared cache, etc... Nothing seems to work. I'm a semi noob I guess, I've been rooting for a while but I've never posted in here so it won't let me post on the SHOStock thread. Any have this happen or have any tips?
Change DPI to 240. Reboot. Clear play store data. Open play store and try again .
If that fails. Full wipe and reflash.

I've done all that. Guess I'll have to try to reflash.
EDIT: That didn't work either.

It's one thing to have the SGH-i777 and ask questions about changing settings, but don't ask questions in a forum for a specific phone, when the question is about a completely different phone. Why should we do your searching for you?

... You have to go to your own phone's section for roms you can't do this. You will have to flash stock firmware. Look that up in your threads

The link you are using is the problem. galaxys2root.com sucks big time. Read the stickies and you will find a link on how to return to stock. Stick with xda it won't steer you wrong.

Maybe you should check with a 3rd party root explorer what you have on your phone and compare the results?

I was having a problem with imei before(044999...) , but doing a LOT of tutorials and a little bit luck, it came back to life again.Now my s3 is stucked on Factory mode , i already changed the file factorymode to ON but nothing happens.
Does anyone know why ?
