Hi!
My friend has said that when plugged your own S3 on charger, it became stuck on samsung logo!
This S3 don't enter on recovery, don't charge or show Samsung's logo.
The only thing that works is enter on download mode.

Flash stock firmware from sammobile.com or samsungupdates.com
Via Odin after reading some guides in stickies and check if any hardware is faulty if not then you can reroot and flash a new recovery.

I think you will find returning to stock with odin won't work it looks like a hardware problem (need new motherboard) try returning to stock as suggest but I am pretty certain this is a service center repair...:fingers-crossed:
When i flash the last 4.3, odin show me a message of fail after 2 seconds.
When i add the pit file, odin stuck in "GET pit for mapping"...
I'm thinking that is a hardware fault...

I have tried to update my galaxy s2 with Kies but the update fails
Now when i turn on my phone it says "Firmware update encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"
How can I replace the original firmware?
It was a Vodafone-it Firmware.

yes it goes in download mode but i don't know what i have to do after that becouse Kies tell me that it doesn't see the phone and askme a code for replace the firmware....
Your phone is perfectly fine so Don't panic. You have to use Odin to flash stock firmware. Ask some other member for help regarding Odin. As I have to go for some work. And specify your phone's model no. Must be on the sticker that is on your phone below the battery..

hi, i have tried with odin and maybe i have selected a wrong files becouse it frozened...
I restart the phone and now it doesn't work, always black screen and now the download mode doesn't work too...
Solutions?

I told you to tell the model no. And then we could tell you what files and which Odin. Maybe you have a variant 9100g which is Omap4 and you flashed exynos files on it..

My Galaxy SIII is dead.. 4 weeks ago It randomly went to the Splash screen about 5 minutes after me using it, for some unknown reason and hasnt worked since, the eBay app kept crashing a few days before and then i updated the app, the next day my phone broke?!?!..
Phone is about 4months old and the screen has a small crack at the bottom (did this a week after i got it and doesn't affect phone) i sent my phone off for repairs but o2 sent it back and said warranty is void because the screen is broke.. So they won't touch it.
I have no knowledge of flash and firmware however after doing a bit of research this last week i've downloaded Odin3 but no flash/firmware to go with!
The phone no longer powers on, it used to just go to the splash screen but freeze, now it wont even do that.
I can open download mode, but when i plug my phone into my laptop although it makes the connection sound, Kie's can't connect it will only attempt to connect (& fail) when it's in download mode too.. I've re-downloaded the samsung usb drivers, but no joy.
When i charge it, the battery loading symbol comes up but again it freezes at this?

If you can get into download mode make sure to turn off kies, also check the task manager, as it does not play well with odin, or just uninstall kies as odin its better anyway. You can find all firmware on sammobile.com, give it a try.

I've tried looking on sammobile but no idea how to find the right software i'm looking for.. I don't know how to use the sight, when i've connected to Odin3, my phone is connecting to it (download mode only) so assuming it means i still have hope? I have made sure that kies is completely disconnected before hand as i've read about that before,

On sammobile.com go to firmware and there you got several filters that you can use to see for instance all UK o2 firmwares.

Simple method is to use CHECKFUS asnd download the O2 firmware and flash via Odin .

Thank you for reply.. I've downloaded the o2 firmware and flash and did it step by step via odin with someone talking me through it, but it failed.. The guy who helped me is a dev for verizon and he said that because that wasn't working, my phone is completely bust & i need a new one...
Hi everyone.
i own a international samsung s3 gt-i9300T
i noticed it behaving strangly as apps where locking up and then it would restart in the middle of web surfing etc
last night i restarted it and now it has frozen in ODIN MODE and states DOWNLOADING-DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET...
Its been on this page for hrs..
i have a custom Hyperlight rom installed.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Press and hold the power button to restart it. Does it still reboot into the Download mode?
If yes, then try and install a stock ROM.

im totally lost im about to dump the phone in the garbage and get another one tomorro
ive also tried using odin again but it just stalls for hrs when trying to reinstal flash another rom

thnks buddy but when i hold the power button it does what i explained in the above reply when i hold power vol down and home the warning screen comes up informing me that a custom rom can cause critical problems etc so when i press down to cancel it goes back to the previously mentioned screen but when i press up to install rom it goes into odin mode with the android robot with
product name blank (previosly it stated gt i9300t)
custom binary download no (previously stated4)
current binary samsung official (said something different before)
system settings custom
i swear this is doing my head in :0

Load firmware file as PDA
Connect USB cable
First box in Odin should show yellow then hit start .
Note at what point fails .

hi im using the latest odin file odin3 v1.85 and is this the right firmware file to use as i used this to root my s3 CF Root-SGS3-v6.4.tar
when i do it it says

Put it on ebay just say what the problem is .
Someone who reads your post will come to the conclusion its just a user who has not followed the instructions annd may think its worth a cheap buy .
Odin is not firmware CF Root is not firmware .

Make sure that uve downloaded the correct CF-Root file (for i9300T and NOT i9300)... I think its nothing to do with SDS... Anyway try the following link and download the package again...

Hi all, i really hope someone can help me, i got my htc sensation broken and a friend left me his Samsung Double until I can e new phone. }
Here is the problem: I downloaded the firmware for this from a mirro, cause the sammobile's link is broken. I tried to flash the firmware with Odin 1.85 and when hit Start after some seconds the phones turn off and start ti charge. I wanna know how can i fix this, this phone has wifi error and the microphone is not working, without that is not a decent phone, PLEASE!!!

Are you sure you're in Download mode and the firmware you selected is beside PDA/AP in Odin?

I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII of my mates here thats stuck on the boot logo, my mate has already had a go at fixing it with odin with no joy.
I can get it into download mode ok and have odin downloaded ready, i have a feeling he has wiped the operating system and bootloader off :silly:, need some advice on how best to proceed with this one.

I have tried installing UK factory software using odin 3.07 and 3.09 with no joy, as soon as it trys to write it fails, i thing maybe the bootloader is damaged or missing, how do i fix that?
Try the rescue firmware, from general forum with the pit.
If that doesn't work then the emmc chip is damaged.
Without bootloader the the boot would be a hard brick, it is what runs download mode so it's still there.

Nope tried 1.4.8.0 usb drivers, still failed on write

I have been looking into this phone a bit further, tried the pit method but it hangs on getting pit, installed adb toolkit but found i can't do much because the phone is stock, USB debugging is not on and phone won't boot or go into fastboot menu hummmm Mmmmmmmmm, pc is fixed by the way lol.

So i have a s3 i9300, its my friends actually and yesterday all of a sudden it just went like this ( see picture ) now its just constantly staying like this, every few seconds the screen goes black and then the same screen again its doing this over and over until battery is taken out. When battery is replaced it just does this same thing again. I can get into download mode but when i press volume up button it just goes back again to the same screen. Also cant get into recovery. Can anyone help? Thank you!
