Dialing problems - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I'm having problems when i'm on the phone. With the phone to my ear (just the upper part) the calls frequently stops. I'm not toching any buttons on the phone or on the screen. It's pretty anoying when you have to call your friends back a couple of times within a few minutes.
Is this a known problem and what can i do against it?

could be this http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperi...tting-pressed-during-calls/m-p/687351#U687351

Tnx. Will reed it and test some things.

[Q] Problem with proximity sensor

Hi guys!
I´ve purchased my HD2 a month ago. Everything works fine but I experience a HUGE problem when making/receiving calls: the proximity sensors seems not to be working properly. When picking up/answering the call and holding the phone normally close to the ear it de-activates (going blank) for part of the call, but then coming back on so that my cheek can push any button (mostly END CALL). This would happen several times during one call.
No additional software/ROM updates etc were installed on my HD2.
Does anyone know how to solve the problem? Are there any good apps for locking screen on HD2?
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Screen not during off during phone call?

Having an issue where once a phone call is made, the screen doesn't seem to turn off. The end result is calls ending up on speaker phone, muted, random numbers held down for long periods of time, etc. It's quite annoying at this point.
Is any one else experiencing this??
I have had the same issue with my screen multiple times. Sometimes I back it off my face, then put it back & that works....best method is to just tap the power(unlock/fingerprint scanner) button.
ya, that's exactly what i've had to do too. any ideas whether it's a software or hardware sensor issue?

[Q] Blocked incoming call screen

Straight to the problem: sometimes (and in a very unpredictable manner), when i have an incoming call, plenty of problems show their ugly face. First of all, i sometimes can't accept, or decline an incoming call, because the screen isn't responding to input. Sometimes i can go around this by pressing the on/off button twice, and that would enable the screen. But, sometimes even that doesn't work. The phone just keeps ringing until the caller eventually gives up. When that happens, the phone continues to function normally.
Another problem is constant vibrations i noticed in several occasions. Instead of vibrating in "pulses" or "waves", the phone just keeps vibrating constantly, which can be very annoying in combination with the problem mentioned in the first paragraph.
At first i though it's a bug in my ROM (CM9 port for legend), but have heard people experiencing the problem on other stock devices (Galaxy SII on stock ICS, for example). So it is not that rare, but to this day i haven't been able to find a solution.
Did anyone manage to solve this problem, or find any information as to how this can be avoided?

I have the same problem with my phone. Any solution for this problem thx
Reflash, reflash, and if it happens again - reflash. The screen lock/unlock workaround was working about 90% of the time. I gave the phone to my father (clean new flash) and he didn't experience any issues with the rom so far.

Display sometimes add touch (always the same place)

First i noticed that whenever i chat with someone over messenger, it starts calling them randomly while i type.
I thought it's about messenger and i cleared the cache and reinstalled it. Problem is still occurring.
Later, i noticed in one game that screen does that touch again - on the very same spot as in messenger - somewhere in the top right corner (where's the call button in messenger).
I turned off the phone, waited 2-3 minutes and then turned it on. Problem is still occurring.
I started service "thing" (found on the internet what to type in the dial to activate it) and tested the touch screen, everything seems to be okay. So from my experience it seems it's not hardware problem. Do you have any suggestion or experience with this kind of problem? I wish i could fix my phone
And one more thing, it happens only when i'm touching the screen too, it wont do that when i leave it alone and just watch the display.

mic is broken

Hi, I've been using this rom version since a long time and didn't run into problems, when I had this problem I tried clean flashing several times and it wasn't solved. So it's probably a hardware problem.
The Problem: When I am on a call, whether on phone, messenger , telegram or google meet, I can be heard well on loudspeaker mode, but when on phone mode I can rarely be heard. I figured that out: when I make a continuous sound, the first milliseconds can't be heard but after that all is heard until it stops then I have to repeat the process again. So speaking normally isn't heard at all. Can this be to moisture inside microphone ? If so, how can I fix it? Thanks.
