Galaxy note 10.1 wifi UK rom backup corrupt

Hi
Having a few issues without restoring backup to factory rom . Got a corrupt backup.
Does anyone have, or point me in the right direction to restore the manufacturers standard rom on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 WiFi (GT-N8000 UK version).
Please if anyone can help it will be really appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi, it'd probably be better if you asked this on the Galaxy note 10.1 forum.

Rooting a Galaxy SIII is MUCH easier than rooting a phone with their 190 step htc-ish root...i bought my siii 7 months ago and was my first android phone, and read 2 or 3 tutorials and rooted it, easier than a jailbreak
Best regards

If you don't know what you're doing, then no.
Well, ask yourself what you would need root for. If you root, you will be sucked into the depths of the rom flashing vortex, and that's a one-way journey. Trust me on that one, mate. I tried rolling unrooted stock and lasted but a few hours of that eternal torment.
Thanks

Dude root and get free from the limitations

Yeah, rooting takes literally only 3 seconds once you've set up working drivers, and have odin up and running.
Make sure you read the instructions carefully when rooting so you won't make any mistakes

Root it, overclock CPU to 3GHz, undervolt it to 0.1V and then cry here that phone became unstable.
RLY?
If you are even asking the question if you should root - DO NOT DO IT as it is OBVIOUS that you do NOT know WHAT ARE YOU DOING.

If you have a sdcard slot, you don't have a Galaxy Tab, you have a Galaxy Tab 2. That's what your sig says, too: the 5110 is a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES install ANY ROM that you see on this forum, unless you like bricking it.
Go to the Galaxy Tab 2 forum for guidance.
Thanks a lot for the advice and yes it has a sdcard slot.
Thanks again

Mega 5.8 lags every time

Hi xda devs. I want to know why my mega starts lagging and its not rooted at all so what is wrong?
Sent from my GT-I9152 using xda app-developers app
Disable apps that you don't need, that will help. Also if you started facing this issue recently then check which app you installed as that might be causing an issue.
I am unrooted as well and my Mega is running fine with no lags, if you have updated with the Galaxy Gear update recently then go back to the previous version as some people have complained of lags and heating after the update, which I have not infact I feel its a bit more responsive after the update.

Mega 5.8 is running flawlessly without root. I had it rooted before but find it better all stock and unrooted hence decided to stay that way... Rooting is not always a solution.

Rooting doesn't solve all problems. If unrooted, try to solve your problem before rooting.
Smack that Thanks button if I helped!
KitKat came in on my OmniROM, running on my Note 2.
Sent from a small country called Singapore.
P.S. Time for school, not much time for XDA
