Using gravity box on 124-ROW.
So far, everything I tried works fine, but had some problems with
- Statusbar tweaks/connection speed : sometimes it's overlapped by other items, setting location to left works
- Phone tweaks/smart radio : Connecting to WLAN => 2G only : works fine. Disconnecting WLAN => 3G+2G (auto) : often I get no network at all and I have to reboot, clear (Dalvik) cache before it works again. Using modem S.920.V17 for P780 but had it on other modems too.
Mainly used lot of statusbar, power, display, phone, media tweaks.

Changing status bar to full AOSP status bar do not work?

Kill foreground app do not work.

Expanded Desktop mode for Grand Quattro

Im using a rooted Samsung Grand Quattro on JASP HD rom. I installed the Gravity Box to enable the expanded desktop mode on my phone. But it does not seem to work.
The notification bar does not hide itself. It still shows as a "white bar" on top of all the screens. Pls help if there is a fix for this issue.
Are there any other alternatives to enable the desktop mode on ?

Yes, I have it enabled. I was able to use other functions within gravity box like pie controls etc. The issue is with the expanded desktop. I have the option to hide both status bar and navigation bar and have it enabled.
I was able to debug this further...
When the expanded desktop mode is ON and if I refresh the SystemUI, it stays "expanded" for few seconds and go back to normal.
When I say normal, it means that the status bar is NOT shown but a white bar appears on all the screens. So I think its not refreshing the SystemUI or crashing the SystemUI ??

Beelink Mini MX Amlogic S905

I really like this box but the biggest killer for me is that status bar.
I installed Google Leanback Launcher and Youtube/Twitch Android TV Apps but when I launch the app the status bar goes on top of the app.
I've tried using GMD Immersive app but if I disable the status bar the the remote input stops working.
The rom thinks the box is a phone, is there anything I can do to make it think it is an Android TV Rom and disable status bar?
Does this box come with Root? If yes, you may use XPosed module "App Setting" to change a specified app's DPI to force it run in tablet resolution.
See this link for the details.
Thanks but apps are launching in tablet mode but the status bar wont go away.

Hi try this to get rid of that status bar
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dreamori.hidebar&hl=en
It says it's incompatible with my device and looking at comments there are a load of people complaining it doesnt work with youtube which is why I want the statusbar gone.

expanded desktop on cm13 crashes

I'm running the latest nightly of cm13, xposed, and gravity box.
I wanted to use pie controls exclusively. But when I try to use gravity box to hide the navigation bar (under display tweaks), the phone reboots when I activate expanded desktop.
Any way to make this work?
I tried it, the same happened to me

Any way to disable the Navigation Bar, Soft Keys, or On Screen Buttons in NOUGAT?

I can't live without LMT Launcher. With Marshmallow, Xposed modules can disable the navigation bar/soft keys/on screen buttons so LMT Launcher can be activated from the bottom. xposed is not available in Nougat yet. Is there another way to disable them in Nougat? I do have root.
Goto Settings-> Display -> Home touch buttons -> Hide Home touch buttons
Here you will get a list of apps, turn off for apps you need or all apps.
This only hides them.

This is great for hiding the nav bar, but doesn't really work with lmt Launcher. When you swipe from the bottom up, lmt doesn't appear. Instead the nav bar unhides. There's gotta to be a way to disable the Navigation bar completely with root. Anyone have any ideas?
The best way to hide the nav bar without Xposed in nougat is via rro layer theme. If your ROM supports rro layer themes you can install the theme from LMT's OP.
Edit build.prop in system qemu.hw.mainkeys=’, set to 0 (zero) to enable the onscreen / virtual softkeys. Set it to 1 (one) to disable them. Make sure Lmt or alternate nav system in place before reboot.
Works for me anyway

Thanks, this works great! I tried this while on stock marshmallow for tmobile g5 and phone wouldn't boot. Phone booted in Nougat and navigation bar was completely disabled.

I'm using (and always used) the build.prop trick without problems with stock MM, probably you messed up in something else when trying to edit it?

Disable the GPS notification in the notification bar

Hi,
as soon as I'm running any program like google maps, waze or other SW using the GPS I get an "icon" in the status-bar telling me the obvious (that positioning is on). The Mate 20 PRO's large screen Notch does not make room for taking up space with that kind of unnecessary "information".
I tried to turn this status indicator off but failed miserably.
Is there any way this can be done?
System UI Tuner is probably the easiest option - I have it hiding the Bluetooth, NFC, and alarm icons, but it can do GPS as well.
If you can't use ADB you can use this method to hide a few of the icons, but GPS isn't one of them. Nova launcher can also create the shortcut for you.
I'm running Nova, which shortcut is it I can create with it?

Thanks, have installed it now. Strangely enough I do not seem to be able to get it hiding my bluetooth icon.
