Hi, I have recently bought a z2 and have noticed there isn't that many ROMs around at the moment. I have always been interested in making my own ROM one day.
I was just wondering where can i find details on how to create a rom for the Z2 and what do i need?
I can't seem to find a guide regarding this
There's not many roms because the phone just came out coupled with shipping delays. There will be more soon.

I just recently got this phone because I broke my LG G2. I have only run kitkat roms on it and they all run slow and laggy. Sometimes it takes ten seconds or more for it to do stuff. I'm thinking that an older rom would run better. I'd even like to try ICS but I can't find anything older than 4.3 from last july. Can someone give me some links to some 4.0-4.2 based roms... thanks

just a quick question, how come the z2 doesn't have a lot of dev attention on xda? is it because it maybe isn't very popular or maybe there are other factors I haven't heard of?

The device isnt popular and alot of roms are based on CM11 and AOSP
Official CM11 is in a unstable state so theres that
There is no AOSP port yet
The lack of popularity and price play a factor so official roms will come but not too many

Yup, both the following posts nailed it. If you want amazing third party roms, nexus device followed up by sammy, HTC, Motorola, then lastly our beloved Sony lol.
It's still early...

I've been trying to find one all across the internet but with no luck at all and I'm also trying to make an AOSP ROM for this device but I'm no Dev in any shape or form so progress is.... Slow
I learn the process as I go and I've hit a major problem getting the blobs for this device but I hope maybe a dev might get this device one day.

i've been waiting a long time (had this device over a year now still no rom) i wish there at least was some rom like Cyanogenmod or Carbon rom which would support it i don't dare to install the S4 Mini version of Cyanogenmod yet don't know what it would do to my device
I've already checked and the s4 mini runs a different chipset and flashing cm for s4 mini will most likely end in the phone being bricked so I would advise not to flash under any circumstance.

Hi guys. I'm new in the forum. I was wondering if anywhere there is a custom rom for the lg g3s. I bought this phone 1 month ago and it is pretty awesome and fluid. Could you please tell me why there isn't any rom around the net? I don't understand.
