[Q] restoring old TA partition - Sony Xperia Z Ultra

after i claim my Z Ultra from Sony HQ, they told me that the motherboard has change
the question is, is it possible to restore the old TA partition that i backup earlier before the motherboard change?

Backing up the TA partition needed?

Saw Backup TA v9.11 for Windows but I don't use windows nor can I download anything from Github from their page. How needed is this? Is there any way else of backing up these files if they are that important?

If you ever need to get a Xperia serviced under warranty then you will probably want to restore the TA, or if you want to ever use Sony's DRM locked apps
So how do I back up the TA partion in an unrooted phone? Also none of the root tools work in linux.

Backing up encryption keys.

I have managed to root my Tablet Z3C (downgraded to official 4.4 ROM using Flashtool, rooted using Kingroot, and loaded DualRecovery from PC using ADB interface)..
I am about to flash a 5.11 ROM, but at some point I also want to backup my DRM keys (my bootloader is unlockable, but I dont' really need to now).
Is it as simple as just backing up the Trim Area partition using TWRP?
I have searched for a thread, but never found anything that says this. Is TA == TRIM AREA == DRM Keys?
The more secure way is to backup it via TA Backup tool for Windows. It's safe and easy to restore.

You know, unlocking bootloader wipes internal storage and it's possible you'll loose your DRM backup.
Use TA backup I linked and remember to upload backup to cloud (I have my backup on 3 clouds - google drive, mega, dropbox).
Many thanks. With this backed up, can I unlock the bootloader, relock and restore the TA DRM easilly and restore my tablet to original condition if need be?

Root & Backup TA Partition

I'm looking into rooting my Z3 tablet and I want to save my TA partition.
I found the TA backup app, but it requires a rooted Z3. However, when you root the Z3 you looks the TA partition. Catch 22?
What to do?
