I know this is a basic question, but is there a way to set no wallpaper as a background?
I can change between Live or Gallery etc, but I want a completely black background.
I suppose I could upload a black image, but overkill?

I have a black back background, calls, sms settings etc. I have seen people suggesting XML changes, but i really dont understand how to star that.
Is there anyway i can change this ?
Are you saying your wallpaper is missing?
If so, did you happen to set a very large image as your background?
Otherwise, disregard.
Black background
This is the black background i need to change
Maybe you can say a little more details? Your phone, ROM etc? what does it mean black, black background? Where, in whitch situation?
I`m sorry , i forgot to add the details.
Samsung Galaxy i9100, recently rooted and moved from Gingerbread to ICS. SO, iam now trying to customise one by one.
Some of the problems I face is, when the pop-up comes the background colour and the font colour is the same, and both black !
When i type an email, iam unable to do a copy, paste, selection of text etc., has anyone come across these ?

You need to decompile the apk and edit the XML files.

Hello!
This is my lockscreen right now: http://i.imgur.com/MkvfR.png
As you may see, the clock and the date under the clock is pretty hard to see. Therefore I want to make the text bold, so I can see it better. Does anyone know how I can do this? If I can't make it bold, I would like to change color of it if possible.
Thanks in advance!

rather than that a simple Dark background picture will do the trick, since the present one is too white for the text's to be highlited

Yeah a dark background would solve the problem, but that girl is nicer than a black background

at least u can use a photo editor software to reduce the background whiteness so that u can retain the girl's photo as well as ur issue also resolves

If I would do that, would I be able to reduce the background whiteness so much that I can see the clock and the picture is still OK?
If so, could you recommend me a photo editor that has the ability to reduce the background whiteness?

Apparently, there is no fix to this issue. GS2 displays white-colored text on lockscreen. You've set a white wallpaper which matches with color of text. Result- no text. white + white + white. Use a background with dark or at least non-white colors.
What file is the red white image in? I want to change the red color.

Unfortunately this is an image built into the Everything Widget. Therefore nothing can be done besides removing all the other items, taking a screenshot, then Photoshopping the image, then using that as a wallpaper. Only way I can think of now. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Not sure if this is where it goes but does anyone have the background image for the City theme? I would really like to make it my lock screen

Hi, if it doesn't appear in the Themer Wallpaper folder in your gallery, look in /sdcard/MyColorScreen/Themer/prefs

Awesome, thank you. It was the only one not showing up in my gallery.
Hi, I'm trying to create a multi-screen wallpaper setup like in this build (http://mycolorscreen.com/2014/07/29/iren/) but how does one shrink their desired wallpaper to fill just half the screen? I tried bitmap but the scaling makes it difficult and blurry.
Thank you in advance.

Hi you could add a widget with full width or simply use photoshop to integrate the gray layer to your image.

I was going to simply cover the bottom half the wallpaper with a RECT overlay but it seems like the previous theme and this other one (http://mycolorscreen.com/2014/08/23/sportlife/) have a found way to shrink the wallpaper without losing detail or focus. When I tried inserting the wallpaper into a widget, it came out blurry cause I have to stretch it in order to fill the entire widget by increasing the scale (increased scale = blurry). Unless there's another way aside from bitmap or photoshop, I guess this is it then.
I didnt mean to use the wallpaper in the widget. You should cover the bottom half with a widget and set the wallpaper as usual.

Yea, I did that but that leaves me losing the bottom half of the wallpaper. I thought the two themes I looked at had a way of 'shrinking' the wallpaper to fit in the top half without losing detail. The method you suggested (if I'm reading it correctly) is to cover the bottom half with my widget (RECT + icons) and then set the wallpaper to auto-fit the top half. But the wallpaper still fills the entire screen. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something.

Hi,
There are two main ways of doing this. First is to use Zooper, and add the images as a bitmap. However if you said this makes the images blurry, Photoshop (or any other image editor) should do the trick. Simply take a screenshot of your homescreen, open that in Photoshop, then drag the wallpaper on where you want it to go.
Hope this helps!
