wifi
Hi nima, glad to see you working on Badadroid
Could you share your sources somewhere, or, once every bug is solved, make a pull request to badadroid project ? Would be awesome.
About wifi, if it's not already done, you can try to reverse this commit : https://github.com/Badadroid/androi...mmit/3f5ad204b1746e997f144ef77b9fdbe567af5f44
Then build again (just kernel), it helped me with wifi some time ago.

new rom
update

I have used the CM11 v4.3 and v4.4 and can tell you without doubt that wifi works for normal and AdHoc version both without any problems. If you based your ROM on that, its really weird that WIFI is not working on yours. I think you should recheck bro.
By the way, nice work with the ROM!

During nexts days i'll try to make a SD/nand version of Badadroid (thanks to Tigrouzen files). If i succeed, porting it to this rom should be easy.

On Tigrouzen's facebook page, he said that he has released his ROM sources. Is this true ? Or I read it incorrectly?
It said something like 2.5 or 5 gb of compressed data....
If he has released his sources, why is his work still banned ? Sorry, am just curious.

OMG this things is FAST !!! Tnx OP

badroid is awesome, my first love, because I flashed it the first time and tasted android on my wave, but it is a bit slow, laggy and I wish I could help with the dev, but since I cant, and volk204 is still continuing to support all the wave users, I respect his work and commitment. Hats off to that guy.
Just imagine, Rebellos, volk204 and Tigrouzen working together, all open sourced material, and all devs working, DAMN! that would be awesome.
I mean, a A9 Cortex CPU with a PowerVR SGX 540 GPU are considerably nice specs to toy around with.
PS: I just played Dead Trigger on High Settings in 4.0.4 the infamous "banned" CFW.

Hey, nice work with the ROM.
I have a request though. Can you make a ROM with Viper Sound FX ?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223
This looks like a promising add on to your ROM. Also, is this ROM smoother than the current badroid, because after some days of use, WhatsApp took 9 mins to open! That was kind of scary. {Also one of the reason for me to migrate to 4.0.4 SD Rom}

[ROM] NXSense Z v0.6-fix 12/13/10 [USB fixed!] (based on eViL & robocik)

First and foremost
This ROM was originally ported to the Nexus One by eViL, and was maintained by him until version 0.4 testrom. Credit for the port and several tweaks goes to him. It was originally based from his efforts, but is now based on robocik's Desire port (with special thanks to MicroMod777 for providing it to me), with modifications from eViL, myself, and others.
Original thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=799778

>Native USB mount (Rosie-rotation related)(Use app from market, I use Dual Mount SD widget)
>Minor lag on first boot, disable AutoSync in SetupWizard and sync manually when set up

Yessir, 512MB min. It's listed in the original Desire Z port that eViL did, but it looks like wd forgot to post that in this new thread. I'm sure the OP will get updated with that tidbit when wd gets around
I got the same md5 too, but it's always nice to have it from the source.
What about wifi hotspost and USB tethering? Are they working flaweslly?
Is there a mirror for this one, cant get it from the original download post.

Custom ROMs based on AOKP and Slim ROM - no more updates from me

As a "proof of concept" I "ported" a firmware from Galaxy S (AOKP). You can experiment with it, just replace the polisblood_Nightly1.img (and preferably replace data.img and cache.img with the original ones from Mike.)
Of course, there's no modem, and SD Card access, all the previous limitations are in place.
Here you are:
http://www.4shared.com/file/CrYasSiT/polishblood_Nightly1.html
you can use the original kernel, or this one:
http://data.hu/get/5299614/zImage (Chose the "Lassú letöltés" button!)
I will not provide support, it's just an example!
Of course all the credits goes to the AOKP team, Slim ICS team, Mike, Rebellos, oleg_k, nbates66, etc.
Update 07.10: disabling the bootanimation in settings resolve the bootloop problem at second boot (thanks m90ultimate!). I'll try to add the google apps to the firmware, but it's 43 MB...)
Update 07.11: new version uploaded (updated the links). Major changes:
- now it works with empty data.img and cache.img
- bootanimation removed (this fixed the bootloop)
- Google apps added (Google Play)
- brightness setting works
- identifies itself as i9000 (Galaxy S)
Update 07.12: uploaded another rom, this one based on Slim ROM For Galaxy S. Here you are:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/WCKtsykT/slim.html
Update 07.26: deeps_17 created some videos about this ROM, you can find them in post 127 It worth checking it out!
Experiment with it!
Update 07.31.2012: I traded my Wave, there will be no more updates from me... Keep up the good work!
I'll leave the topic open, and the download links will stay, of course.
Why this rom boots so slow? i'm waiting about 5 min and nothing, just aokp bgoot screen :/
Could you try it with previously used cache.img and data.img ? Start Mike's ICS, set it up and then change the polishblood_Nightly1.img. Unfortunately I can not check it until tomorrow...

It's not included by default. Look for "Google Apps" or "Gapps" package. You might need to apply it manually as it's usually CWM package.

[ROM] Slim ROM based on v0.3

Hi !
New Slim ROM based on badadroid v0.3 and I9000 Slim ROM.
Huge thanks to the badadroid project !
Download link
Is included : HoloLaunche, Light PlayStore...
Tons of useless thing are removed. ROM takes only 85Mb !
Espicially for gamers I made a little trick. I've removed notification bar, multitask manager (long press on home) and "push" notification,
to save some RAM.
Now you can get about 150Mb of free RAM on 250Mb RAM kernel !!
It saves some screen space too.
Download link
Links for different types of screen :
LCD type 2 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40320073&postcount=2056
LCD type 3 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40295662&postcount=1994
Tested on S8530. But should work on both S8530 and S8500.
Just flash .zip file in recovery. I advice you to wipe data before flashing.
Known Bug : Can't change Ringtones, so no ringtones. I forgot to change build.prop... I'm too lazy to reupload.
So unzip ROM, open build.prop with NotePad++ (google it) and change lines 50-51-52 by :
Code:
ro.config.ringtone=Aquila.ogg
ro.config.notification_sound=DontPanic.ogg
ro.config.alarm_alert=Cesium.ogg
Zip ROM again and flash. Should work. At least phone will ring but you won't be able to change ringtones.

hey man i hope its 88mb FREE rom not TOTAL ??
edit:- sorry i misread it...... i thought its ram..... so how much is the ram?
any feature working? change log? will try soon,.. thanks :good:
How much has the RAM؟
It's ROM size which is 88MB
Max I ever had is 150Mb RAM ! But I disable lots of hidden process with System Tuner
No real "changelog" since it is just a SLIM ROM. I made a mix between original ROM and SLIM I9000.

No it won't work on S8530. Maybe on S8500.
What I meant before is that I can get 150MB of free RAM with some tricks. But usually I have 100MB. So I won something like 50Mb of RAM if you compare with original badadroid one.

I'm looking to install android rom on computer using VirtualBox.
I need a rom iso
My problem is that in every rom I've tried I could not install flash player
Does anyone have any android rom iso built with flash player or a rom where you can install flash player?
I would try and roms Soxix tigrouzen rebellos / volk on the computer before installing the mobile phone but not if it is possible to create an ISO file From These roms to install on computer with VirtualBox.
If anyone can provide a link to rom android rom iso built with flash player or a rom where you can install flash player using VirtualBox would be very grateful.
Do not know if this is correct forum area to place this post, if it is not I apologize to the moderators and move him to the right place

Installation
Bada 2.0 is required
Warning! It will remove Bada! [for speeder rom]
SD Card is required
sd card formated
copy zImage and rom.zip on sd card
Download and flash fota file
for s8500
http://dl.mobilestan.net/index.php/files/get/-9T69jPHYB/armlinux-boot.rar
for s8530
http://www.mediafire.com/download/otya5kz2bios3go/armlinux_boot_NAND_S8530.fota
Reboot the phone holding Power and home
CWM Recovery starts, pick:
install zip/choose zip from from storage/sdcard/name rom.zip/yes
You can remove installation .zip from the User partition from Android level by connecting through USB in MTP mode.
Do not remove zImage file.
Normal bootup is available using Power
CWM Recovery mode is available using Power+home keys
CWM Flashing does overwrite zImage. So every next update you can just flash .zip through CWM.
For activation Performance and Developer Options categories in Settings you need Settings->About Phone and tap 7 times on Build number
GAPPS
GAPPS make our ROM slowler, because also slim GAPPS take about 15-20 MB RAM permanently

Install rom without Bada. Like OMNI rom, Zendrokat, ICZen.. All roms dont need bada. Your need so they are slower

Wusup guys. Me again. This time with some crazy thing - CM12 for x10. I don't have device on hands so I can't even tell you if it''s booting. Don't expect that anything will work on this build. Just be happy if it boots and provide logcat anyhow. I barely compiled this thing dealing with tonns of errors..starting over again and again..so this pre-alpha's main aim is - to boot. Please test and report.
Download here
no mirrors please..
Extract & flash .ftf from zip. then flash rom (if recovery is working ) but better flash rom first using CWM 6 then flash provided ftf..just in case nothing will work. make sure you will be able to restore your x10 from hell state UB only.
This is RAW build..mostly based on Tof's work..with 3.0.8 kernel.. (Thanks bud )
Finally..hit thanks button and feed me a juicy burger if this will boot :fingers-crossed: :good:

flashed kernel. but cannot go to cwm. not even cwm lights.just showing feralab logo.
Wow Fera, you have excelled yourself here! I am so going to try this!!
Just tried flashing it and it only seems to flash the kernel (Flashtool flashes it really quickly, a couple of seconds, it would be much longer if it was the entire ROM flashing) Am I doing something wrong?

ok. cm12 kernel don't have recovery access..use any kernel with cwm6 to flash rom..then pull out battery and flash cm12 kernel to boot new rom.
Tried as you mentioned several times.
Downloaded rom file just provide ROM FILE WITHOUT ANY EXTENTION. just a file. When i rename it as zip, cwm says cannot open. When i rename as RAR, cwm cannot find file. Plz provide proper ROM.ZIP file if you can

Hi again Mate i keep getting error's trying to download.
It keeps redirecting to register and pay for download?
The free download is currently not available - Please try again later! Premium account users are not affected by this temporary limitation.
Ok I tried internet explore to download and it is now downloading. So it must of been my ad-blocker on chrome stopping it? It say's it will take approx 3 hour's. I'll try to reflash when it's finished.
Thank you
Tried to install this. Installed the rom first and then flashed the kernel. It gets stuck at the bootlogo. It doesn't spin like Kernel v27 does. I couldn't get logcat to connect to my phone so nog logs sadly
~Aeny
ROM and Kernel install without problems, however as above, the boot process hangs on the FeraLab logo. (waited over 10mins)
No dmesg available at this boot stage.
@FeraVolt maybe you should place /system on sd. Maybe you should check lx cm12 sources , they did the same. just an ext4 partition on sd must be made on user's side

i installed rom by using gb kernel. Then i flashed jb kernel. rom booted. but when i move home screens, its always blur. cam worked, video record worked in law quality. ram usage is 192mb without any apps.i felt very slow and not much smooth when comparing with V40 gb. i couldn't take screenchots because there was no option. however happy with booting the rom.

Tried it today, if you install gapps the blur stops.
The rom is working quite well for what I was expecting.
It is a too laggy, process "com.android.phone" FC's and the notification bar freezes, you need to restart the phone. No reboots.
Wifi, bluetooth, gps, accelerometer, camera (8Mpx, video low), are all working.
This is a great first version of what could be a great rom for our old X10...
Thank you Fera!
