Hi,
Actually my Android phone accidentally got slipped from hand and got dropped into the water,so I immediately ran to the service center,they said ,they need to re-install the android os again to get it work.
How do I do that? Is any other recovery option?
Please provide a tut to re-install the complete android os in my LG P350 optimus me as I have zero knowledge about the android.So please try to explain it in a nobby style.
more info : Now when i use to connect the charger or through data cable,it's just showing light on the screen and the same light is continuous blinking at the home,search,etc buttons

Just leave it overnight in a bowl of rice to dry it.

I am porting lg optimus chic rom to optimus one (just for timepass) finally I successfully ported it but while booting It says battery overheat shutting down.
then I flashed gondenleaf kernel cause I think maybe it is kernel problem
then it booted successfully but touch screen works weird
then I flashed phoenix-rom again and touchscreen stop to work
I am using twrp so i turned on touchscreen interface but still touch screen not working
so now my touchscreen stop working forever?
any idea what to do?
so there is no choice? should I go to lg service center?

Take the east way out bud, and go to the service center because that is the first time I've ever heard of a problem with touchscreen not working at all

well in that case they will consider it waranty void as it has custom rom , flash stock and see if comes to life again if not throw it at lg service center
let them take the tension
You know I think it's bull**** that we basically have to hack our phones to get what should already easily be available to us anyways.. you void the warranty by modifying you phone but why ? I dont call it hacking, its more technological exploration..but good luck, I hope you can post a fix for that problem because it has me puzzled, I can't do **** without a computer,wish I could help ya

I suggest, you go back to stock using KDZ
Its just weird though, never had this problem earlier.

Format system and reflash

yesterday my phone was hard bricked without any damn reason
so I gave it to lg service center
maybe all this happening because of overheat
I am having P500 for a year and tried so many experiments on it, 2 times I got changed my PCB from LG Service but from yesterday I am facing a very different problem.
I was using cynogenmod Android 2.3.7, I notice that my phone is switched off, when I tried to ON it it comes to LG logo screen and switched off again.
After long time my phone booted successfully but unfortunately it switched off again automatically after 3-4 mins. I am unable to do anything on it.
So I finally decided to boot into recovery console and re flashing rom, but I am not able to boot in recovery also it comes into recovery and after 2-3 clicks it will restart, restart and restart again.
I notice that sometimes it automatically comes me to "Emergency mode screen"
I finally decided to Flash it using KDZ updater, I prepare and start flashing using KDZ updater in emergency mode, (Going back to stock ROM).
I flashed it successfully and phone restarted, but the problem is same, phone still having same issue, sometimes it switch off automatically while playing game, and wont be switching on, going to emergency mode etc. I have to pull battery many times to get it on.
It was working fine from last night, I open an application and it crashed again and not switching on, after 20-30 times of pressing button and pulled out and inserted battery 5-10 times it switched on and working since 2hrs.
Phone is working as normal but I don't understand that why it act like this?
Android Version: 2.3.3 (Stock LG ROM)
Built Number: GRI40
Software Version: LG-P500-V20c
Please help if there is any solution, I don't what to move LG service centre, they can't do anything just changing the hole hardware PCB.
Also I am regular visitor of XDA Forum and used it since a year, this is my First Post here, I seems there are lots of problem solved on this board lets see, if anyone can help me.
Try to change the battery with a new one or if you have a friend with an LG P500 phone ask him to give you his battery to see if it's battery fault, if it's so you have to buy a new battery. Also leave everything stock, and no Overclocking.

Yea, it is working fine since yesterday, i also removed some applications and games, let it test for more couple of days.

Guys i am back on optimus one after 2 whole months so please dont underestimate me, my phone was in lg service center after hard brick and i was having htc explorer(now rooted)

Ok newbie here so go easy on me...
I bought a szenio DC50 II mobile from our supermarket in town.
my phone suddenly started rebooting itself constantly after updating. i contacted the manufacturer they sent me a link to download the official firmware and reflash...
i downloaded and flashed perfectly i was elated.. powered on the device all booted fine until i hit the google setup pages. the screen calibration is way off. i know there are apps to calibrate the screen but i cant even get to that stage as i cant get past the setup screens
Please someone help me as the manufacturers are totally blanking me now

What´s the android version?

Last night i found my old LG optimus 3d p920, the device was working back in the days, but after charging the battery i remembered the old issue, which is the touch not working in the most of screen, and that's why i throw it back in 2013.
I couldn't do any thing except some clicks on some area on screen, but other stuff its not clickable..
I searched a lot on google and xda about that issue and they said its software issue, android on that time makes this and you have to update.
The problem is i cant go to the menu, or even contact it to the pc because its ask me to turn on storage and i cant click on it..
Is there anyway to update the phone to the latest ver of android for this model ? or is there any possible way to contact it to the pc without asking for turn on storage?
please advice, and thank you in advance.
If touch screen only partially working then it could be a loose connection.
In no case it has something to do with installed Android OS itself, IMHO.
