Ugh
Stuff like this makes my stomach turn
I was always soooooo scared the first time I flashed a ROM. Everybody's worst nightmare come to life...
Hi, I've a neo V with a root and unlocked bootloader by testpoint method but i did it long time ago. Currently i have baseband 70 with an AOKP ICS rom and proper kernel. Today i had a huge battery drain and finally my phone turned off beceuse of low battery (about 2-3%). When i get to home i connected my neo v to charger, wait 30mins and after this a tried to power on my phone but its impossible to do. When trying to power on, my led(orange color) lights up quickly 3 times witout vibration. When i pull my battery off and then connect to charger LED green lights up permanently. I'm able to connect my phone into fastboot(blue led), and flash mode (green LED). I was able to flash with no errors by flashtool original soft by se (.62 about 270MB ) but with no effect, also succesfully flashed custom kernel but my phone is still bricked.
Please help me. Sorry for my bad english
By flashing thw original .62 software you should have a normal boot up.
My suggestion : Try again flashing from this link

If nothing happens try to find a battery from another neo v and flash again! After that put your battery back and charge it!
Hope it helps
I had a similar problem

Hey! I had a similar problem, turned out that the plug point I had connected my charger to wasn't alright. Did you try charging your phone using your PC?
After using recovery and install a new kernel ( seems not compatible ) after choose reboot to system option my Xperia S didn't function anymore and I couldn't able to use keys to reset or power on my phone.
I try all of combination of keys but nothing
I put in charging more than 8 hour but nothing ( only first solid RED led appeared and after hours it goes off and when try to charge another time it did the same )
when I connect to PC the flashtool shows it connected with debugging off and do nothing.
I can't go on flash mode or fast mode to reinstall again.
would some one help me to how can I bring my phone in live. ( I haven't a repair sony service in my town )
Have you tried what I said?

What did you said?
It's not bricked, one of my Xperia S phones did this to me on multiple occasions. The first time i just let it charge over night, or until the solid red LED turned to solid orange LED. The patience waiting for it to turn to an orange LED is the key here i noticed after it happening several times, interrupt it each time and it may as well be bricked through lack of patience.
Thread moved to Q & A section, kindly post in the relevant section next time.
3x vibe

As I wrote I try all combination of keys but nothing changed...
Just when I plug to PC red LED goes on but after about an hour it goes off , and when I replug it goes on again...
Last days when I plug to wall charger red LED acts the same pluged to PC but now red LED is off about 8 hours connected to charger....
Only the flashtool recocnised the phone with usb debugging off when I connect to PC but I can't go to flash mode or fast boot mode...
Is there any commands with an application that works with xperia s and re write its bootloader when its not in flash or fastboot modes.
I was installed all of the derivers needed for adb and ... when my Xperia S was working...
would know someone help me to take my phone works agian?

I've got something similar to you when messing with my XU.
Almost freaked out 'cos I couldn't use fasboot.
What I do:
Remove the battery, left 'bout 5 min, put it back
Left it on the wall charger for something like 2h
Then, tried to power on. It got stuck on bootloop (bootloader unlocked)
powered off by removing battery, put it back on again
now, with it powered off, prepared my kernel of choice (any with CWM) in fastboot
when asked to plug in the phone, did as usual (vol + and usb)
BAM, the kernel flashed without any issue, was able to recover an old backup and got my phone back.
If, by any chance, you have a phone that you cannot remove battery, try just leaving in the wall charger for a time. pay attention to the led, if it's red, than it's charging (supposed). then try to remove the charger and put it back again, see if anything shows up in the screen.

hi guys, as i stated in my title, when i charge it keep blinking red led(whenever i charge), won't connect to the pc, and i've charged it for at least 4 hours i have tried evry thing( power+ vol up) and hard reset at sd slot but nothing can change it now
it may got in some water(but not that many times, only rain, etc) and it keep restarting, and wont comeback to life, i can use for a few minutes, and at that time, i cant seem to charge my phone, and when i hard reset (power+up) it keep restarting until this point, and guys, i bring it to xperia care but they seems tobe helpless, i hope you understand what im saying, btw english is my 2nd language
Can you get to FastBoot Mode (With the phone off, plug it into the PC's USB port and immediately press & hold the UP volume key, the LED should go from Red to solid Blue.) If yes, Run Flashtool (installing it first, if necessary) and try to get to Flashmode (With the phone off, plug it into the PC's USB port and immediately press & hold the DOWN volume key, the LED should go from Red to off, but Flashtool will tell you that the phone is connected in FlashMode)
Have you flashed anything? The usual cause for the red flashing LED is by flashing a ROM or Kernel when you haven't unlocked the bootloader first.
OK, there are some ROMs and kernels which can be flashed on a locked bootloader.
Download an FTF for your phone from the FTF repository thread, and flash it using Flashtool.

Before flashing, have you tried charging the phone through your computer's USB? See if that works.
