Whenever i try to open Google Now most of the time is gives the message "Can't reach google at the moment", same thing happens during voice typing, (Sometimes it works fine too). All the required Language & Input settings are active, still i can't use Google now and the voice msg feature.
Really annoyed b'coz of this. Plz help!!!
If you are using 3g/2g data then it my happen because data connection take 3-4 sec to connect with server so when you search for google now it is not getting connected immediately to the server/network hence it says no connectivity...
To confirm that there is no problem in software you may search using a wifi connection for 1 or 2 time

Since I started making and receiving calls and texts via wifi I thought about how nice it would be to actually carry the tab with me in my laptop bag and have it automatically connect to open wifi spots without user interaction. Is this possible.
If I can get a notification of an open network, someone should be able to add code to or from to auto connect and disconnect without storing a thousand networks addresses... PigBak app... or something...
Sorry if this has been discussed couldn't find anything on site wide search..

after a little more searching I found an app that functions the way I'd like it to... Wefi pro seems to do what I need for seamless calls.

Its likely that your having a problem with your internet connection and that's causing the Play Store not to load. Try unplugging your modem that your ISP gave you, waiting 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. After you have done that reset your router (Unplug it, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back in). If that still doesn't work check your cable connections and make sure that everything is plugged in properly and securely and that nothing has accidentally been unplugged, and everything has power. If things still aren't working properly call your ISP (Internet service provider) and make sure there is no outages of service that are causing your internet not to connect. Hope these suggestions help

Try doing a battery pull to see if that works for you.
After customizing ROM my xperia sola won't download any apps .. Play store normally opens and screenshots all are opening when am clicking install button downloading bar will appear for a while and produce error app couldn't be downloaded.
There is no problem on mobile network, i can browse pages download data from the default browser... When register whatsapp stuck at verification number process 'Error: Unable to connect'
If i connect my data thru wifi, there's absolutely no problem whatsapp, play store works perfectly... Only problem with 2g/3g connection...
Please help me with the solution....
U may have a setting that does not allow u to use mobile data for downloading. Try browsing google play store's options and look for such a setting or try using a sim card from a friend of yours who is on another mobile carrier...
U can also use flashtool to use a stock rom and see how things go. If it works fine, then it is a rom's bug
Try reinstalling the google play apk

make sure u have not ticked on RESTRICT BACKGROUND DATA..and yes have a working sms plan (or atleast balance to send an sms for whatsapp)
Happened to me once..
You're browsing with the wrong access point.. Go to settings --> more --> mobile networks ---> access point names -->
There you'll have the access points given by your operator..
Select the one with global internet (there may be some other name for it) not wap.. For example Vodafone has internet access point name as
VDF mobile connect
Also make sure you have enough balance..

Hi,
My Xperia V hade a broken screen and a (probably) broken USB.
But it turns on and it's accessible for SMS, wifi and data but not calls.
I have a rule that says "if on power then start hotspot" and that works fine.
Is it any way to access the phone through network? It's rooted. I've tried to push a install some screen sharing sw from Google play through computer browser, but tha apps doesn't start (tried androidlost with jumpstart, but it never registers on the website. Tried with SMS and pushing another app.).
Is there any way to solve this? I would mainly like to access my received SMS.

Dear friends, I am facing this weird problem since a couple of days. I mostly use my home's broadband connection's wifi to connect my Desire HD. Recently, a message popped up in my notification bar saying "Sign in to your wifi network" (See attachment). After that I am unable to use most of the google services including Play Store and Google Maps. If I click this notification (Sign in to wifi) I am directed to a website in my browser "http://173.194.35.99/generate_204" which is blocked by my ISP. In Play Store: No Connection. Retry. I am using cm10.1 and also have tried reflashing different roms but the problem persists. Also, the wifi icon remains white in color after connection and does not turn blue. I can use any other internet related app e.g. facebook, firefox etc without problem. I have also checked my hosts file but there is nothing wrong there (Screenshot attached). Help is appreciated.
And yes I can use play store via mobile data but its too expensive here.
i face same thing sometimes
solution is: use a VPN when want to use Google Play
