When I put the phone on the charger the red LED is on, but it won't switch on whilst on the charger. If I disconnect it the phone switches on until after the boot screen then dies. I assume its a problem with the battery, has anyone else had this problem?
Mine does this too but if I hold the power button it will boot up normally.
You can also try holding up and the power button for 3 seconds until it vibrates then let go, this will turn it off completely, then you can try holding the power button to start it up

My phone's battery just died. It made the power off sound, but when I looked at the screen, it was still on the home screen. I took out the battery and tried turning it back on. Now when I put the battery in, and hit the power button, no matter if the phone is plugged in or not, the LG logo comes up and the lights on the buttons blink 3 times. It just stays like this and won't turn on! I've also tried a hard reset, but the same thing happens (logo and button blinks). Any suggestions?
Thanks,
-Adam
Hi everyone,
i've got a HTC One X+ and wanted to install CM 11.
Everything was fine while flashing.
After last reboot i left my phone on my desk and was still booting.
I think there was a bootloop so my phone went out of battery.
Okay, so I plugged it on a charger and the red led is blinking 3 times, then nothing happen.
After this 3 times of blinking there is no response of the phone.
No reset (power and volume) or tipps from searches (hold down power up + down 2 minutes,...) are working.
The phone doesn't make any things, no more singns are given in anyway.
Is the phone destroyed? Or is there something I can do?
Its charging. 3 flashes mean its too low to boot

It's charging for many hours but no other reaction...
What to do?
Everytime I connect the power to the phone it's only reaction is flashing the led 3 times and then nothing else...
Okay, now the phone was charging the whole day and night. No reaction.
Can it be the battery is dead?
Try to press the power button right after you start charging (when the led blinks 3 times). You can also try to hold the power button for several seconds. The buttons should start to blink. Have you tried to connect your phone to your computer?

I tried to connect the phone with the pc but there is no device found. The only reaction is the blinking of the led for a short time.
Pressing the power button and plug in power -> no reaction
Plug in and press power button -> no reaction
Holding power button then plug in power -> no reaction
Plug in power and hold power button -> no reaction
And after those 3 blinks, the red light turns off?
I'm not an expert, but if there is nothing you can do then I doubt if there is any other solution than repairing it by a special service. But those 3 led blinks means still hope...
After blinking 3 times there is no lights coming on and nothing else.
I think I will send it to repair...
Thanks for all help

My phone was working perfectly fine until someone called my phone and the screen did not turn on so I kept pressing power hoping it would turn on. It would not turn on so I held the power button for 30 seconds to do a full reboot. 5 seconds later my phone vibrates, but the screen does not turn on. Now it is vibrating every 43 seconds non stop. I tried plugging in my charger to the phone, but the charging light does not light up.

Friends had the same issue. Hers is done for. Try holding the power and both volume up and down for two minutes. Then try to charge. Holding the buttons is supposed to reset the battery charge logic.

You can try pressing the "Off" button in the microSD slot. Just try I'm not really sure but it did work on some users (information from sonymobile)

Hello,
My S6 turned off due to 0% battery this evening so I just plugged it in and let it charge. When I went to bed later, it was showing 97%, I unplugged it and tried to turn it on but it wouldn't. Tried all buttons combination (volume up+home+lock, volume down+home+lock for several sec, all four buttons etc....). When I put it on my wireless charger, the light of the charger turns on but nothing on the phone.
Also no water damage + phone was not hot when unplugged.
Any clue ? Warranty just ended on 27th of Dec
Thanks in advance for your support !
