Hello,
My S6 turned off due to 0% battery this evening so I just plugged it in and let it charge. When I went to bed later, it was showing 97%, I unplugged it and tried to turn it on but it wouldn't. Tried all buttons combination (volume up+home+lock, volume down+home+lock for several sec, all four buttons etc....). When I put it on my wireless charger, the light of the charger turns on but nothing on the phone.
Also no water damage + phone was not hot when unplugged.
Any clue ? Warranty just ended on 27th of Dec
Thanks in advance for your support !

Got my jetstream a few days ago and I carrier unlocked it using a code I found on ebay.
Been playing with it for a few days and the battery was depleted.
I have tried to charge the tablet but it just blinks orange and it won't turn on.
I have tried:
-20second power button press with and without ac power
-20second power+vol down combo with and without ac power
-Vol down and then pressing power button
Nothing is working.
Funny enough, when I plug it to my PC, it detects an android phone.
Any ideas?
As soon as I posted this....the tab came alive!!!!! Its a miracle!!! Lol

I believe that you didn't charged with the original charger?
It happend to me when I didn't used the original charger which is stronger then a normal micro usb charger.
The normal micro usb charger doesn't have enough power to really charge the device if its empty.
Only original HTC tablet charger can charge this device properly. You can use Flyer or Jetsream AC charger only. Always use original HTC charger for best result and performance.

The red blinking means that the battery is to low to turn it on... Just leave it charging for a few hours with the original charger. Should solve your problem.

Hello All,
Been reading threads regarding similar issues since my issue occurred last night, but none of the fixes seem to do the trick for me. I am on AOCP CP2 basically since the time I got my Note, and haven't had any issues with battery, charging, or anything else for that matter. Last night my phone gave me a 15% battery warning, and by the time I checked it 5 minutes later, it was down to 1%. I went and plugged it in, and it had died by the time I got to the charger. Plugged it in and an empty battery symbol with the 'refresh' icon in the center appeared. Let it sit for about an hour then came back to power it up.
- A normal length press of the power button did nothing
- Holding the power button for about 10 seconds yielded three vibrations, then the display of the empty battery with refresh icon, which promptly disappeared
- Holding power + vol. up, power + vol down, all three, power + home + vol, all result in the same as above
-Computer does not recognize the phone via usb
-Removing the battery and connecting to computer via usb makes the phone vibrate repeatedly. Adding the battery while this is happening gives 3 vibrations and the dead battery with refresh icon on the screen
Tried:
-Leaving it plugged into charger overnight
-Removing battery/sim/sd card for various lengths of time
-Holding power button down with battery removed
-cleaned usb port with toothbrush (wasn't that dirty to begin with and hasn't seen water)
I don't have an extra battery or charger to test things out with at the moment, but if anyone has any insight beyond the things I've already tried and read, it would be greatly appreciated! Happy Thanksgiving!

try to charge ur battery on another phone or replace it with a frined's one... and then power on ur phone
This happened to me few times.
After charging it for a bit, I removed battery and put it back. Long hold power.
I just repeat this and eventually it will turn on.

In my experience on i717, it happened just few times, only with "The Collective" jb rom... cp 4.2
hi , i have a motorola atrix that will not boot up at all, it just shows a black screen and when i plug in the usb charger it shows a green light but as soon as i press power the light turns off. i have tried to boot into recovery mode via power button + vol down but nothing shows on the screen , not even a failed to boot message to say its bricked.
after searching google etc , over the 3 days i have tried the following :
1. power + vol down (on battery)
2. power + vol down (wall plug with battery)
3. power + vol down (wall plug without battery)
4. vol down + plug factory cable into computer (with battery)
5. vol down + plug factory cable into computer (without battery)
6. power + vol down + plug factory cable into computer (with battery)
7. power + vol down + plug factory cable into computer (without battery)
and then all of that with Vol up instead , just in case it worked.
the last thing to try is to throw it at a wall and see if anything happens but before that i thought id ask, does anyone have any suggestions on what it could be / what i should do ? from the information ive given above can you tell if its a hard bricked paperwieght or there is hope?
i would appreciate any help given, many thanks!
may sound insignificant but try giving the phone a few hours on the wall-charger, preferably the original one because it has more output than a computer usb port. I had the same behaviour when I completly drained my atrix between two flashs.
If the battery is drained completely, it is difficult to have it hold a charge again. I have read about people putting the device on charge for 3-4 days in such a state and just revive.
I have done the same with agm/gel car batteries by putting them on a low trickle charge for a week.

Any luck with this?
Same problem here
Well i have the same problem here, but in my case, it happened while the phone was on and plugged to the wall charger, it was charging normally but after some hours i went back to see how was it going and the phone was off, and nothing happened when unplug and plug again, the greeen led only turns on when plugged to the pc usb port without battery, but when i put back the battery it turns off and nothing happens
Battery was low this morning so plugged it in a few hours ago left it plugged in for a while didnt look at it once took it off charger went to power it on and the screen just flashes nothing is on it just flashes as if its going on but it doesnt, tried holding the power and home button and it says to press power for recovery or home for factory mode, tried both and nothing happends. Tried holding down the power button for over a minute and screen just kept flashing on and off every 2 seconds. Don't have my lil screw driver with me again i should just keep it in my pocket for battery pulls with the issues ive had lately.
Running a Callisto 100 with loki's most recent firmware release. any thoughts? other than battery pull when i get home?
edit: got home did battery pull tried again still didnt work noticed charger at work wasnt charging the watch when i had plugged it in i guess it was unplugged from under my desk. tried charging at home now alls good again

Sounds like it is stuck in deep sleep. Try with the download button combo (hold vol down, menu and power for 5 seconds) and it should restart.

It was not actually in deepsleep though. BTW finally solved it by doing a soft reset with the VOL DOWN+POWER Thanks for the response though
