My S6 Edge suddenly not turning on anymore :'( I just put it on my table and left for a minute and came and pressed the unlock button. Nothing happened. It was at 60% battery and I though the battery has drained so I plugged it into the charger and still it's not charging and not even the led is turning on. Guys please help ASAP

Sounds like it is stuck in deep sleep. Try with the download button combo (hold vol down, menu and power for 5 seconds) and it should restart.

It was not actually in deepsleep though. BTW finally solved it by doing a soft reset with the VOL DOWN+POWER Thanks for the response though

Dear all,
I have my new tab (64Gb/3G/wifi) for one week and I cannot power on since few days.
I'm sure that the battery is full because it was in charge all the night.
I tried many things (holding power button during 5, 10, 30, 120 seconds, holding power and volume left button) but each attempt failed.
I just know that when I connect it to the laptop, Windows sounds as it is recognizing an USB device but 2 seconds later sounds as the device was removed....
Is there any way to fix the problem? Have I to send the tab to the samsung support?
Thanks for your help... :-(

Mine does it occasionally. I hold the power button down for a long time and let go - repeating as necessary until it revives itself.

Mine doesn't revive with that....
That's why I need to know if there is a real fix for this issue...
Try holding power and volume down button at the same time dor aprox. 15 seconds. Then you should see the "download" logo. Then press volume down to switch to CVM - acknowledge with volume up. Then in CVM just choose reboot.
Hope it helps you

I'm leaning toward faulty.
This one looks to have worked for mine - Tab locked up and died on Sunday, and *fingers crossed* looks to have just come back to life (within the last 10 mins so am not 100% sure).
Leave the battery to discharge completely. Then charge it up. That's it.
With the lack of screen output, the only way i could see to tell if the battery is dead is to plug it into a PC via the USB cable. If you get ADX mode then it's not discharged. Leave it a bit and try again. When you plug it in, if it doesn't show ADX mode make sure you press and hold the power button for a few seconds to make sure it isn't just turned off.
**Edit**
Looking good so far. Am leaving it to charge for a bit before i turn it on but i can at least now press the power button briefly to get the battery indicator
**Edit 2**
Having left it to charge for a couple of hours i then took the plunge. Booted up no problem so it looks like this has worked for me.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

I have this same issue. Mine was fine went to bed woke up and it was dead no life at all. I have done all button combos different cords and factory chargers nothing. I even swapped the battery for a new factory samsung battery inside nothing. i dont get anything when I plug it into my computers though no found sound or anything. I left the battery unhooked for an hour before connecting it to the board inside also. I now have the power button taped pressed for last 2 hours hopeing that will drain the battery like other have done and then I will try to hook it back up to a charger. Any other ideas why it was fine then next day dead?
Yes exist a fix back to 4.0.4 stock recovery and all bugs gone for me that works

I had my phone out with me last night fully charged, halfway through the night i took it out my pocket to find it was off , bit strange.
But not only that it wouldn't power on no matter what.
Usually you would try removing the battery (can't in the s)
Eventually managed to get it to startup holding down volume up and power together (nexus1 fastboot) which booted it up normally??
Im a bit concerned the phone is faulty, anyone experienced this?

Leave it on the charger for a while. Maybe the battery is empty.
You can always press Volume up and the power button and wait for three vibrations to make a hard reset (like battery out)

Power and volume up key pressed together for 5 seconds and mine was a bright day again
happend to me before aswell, because the battery was pretty empty. leaving it on the charger for a couple of minutes resolved the problem
My wife's x10 mp did this with a faulty sim - have you another sim to try?

Same happened but im not sure if water was involved im my case, i let it discharge completely so it would stop restarting for a night, after a couple of days the phone started working normally but the power button doesn't work and the power menu appears randomly. I think the power button is died because of the water but im not sure

what you mean by letting it discharge completely..
How you discharged when it couldn't be powered up..
Mine is restarting only when connected to the charger else it would just show the sony logo and then turns off

Hey guys!
So i have this unusual problem with my phone. The phone won't turn on, but when i plug it in the charger it shows the battery icon with the little "loading" circle in it. It does that constantly when plugged in, icon is on the screen for a few seconds then the screen is all black, it goes like that untill I unplug it.
I thought that the phone was broken, but today while it was plugged in i saw the real charging animation and it said that the phone had 50% of battery so I quickley pressd the power button and it turned on normally. After that i turned the phone off and back on again, everything worked perfectly. So i tried turning it off again and pulling the battery out. Now it wont start again.
The firs time it happend I was using the phone and it freezed, so i pulled the battery out and then it happend.
The phone is running latest version of cm11 donwloaded from cm website.
I hope that somebody knows the answer to my problem.
Thanks in advance!

I'm might know what happening with your phone, and i don't know the final solution either, but you can use your phine with a little bit of effort, just plug your phone to charge and open download mode (press power key, home key , vol down key simultaneously)
And let be in that position for 5-10 min and then press cancel. Then it will show your device name for real long...... wright there for 5-10 min again and it will be working again, don't let it go off again or do same procedure if it goes off, you may have problem with your sensor's, wanna stable solution? Hello,
My S6 turned off due to 0% battery this evening so I just plugged it in and let it charge. When I went to bed later, it was showing 97%, I unplugged it and tried to turn it on but it wouldn't. Tried all buttons combination (volume up+home+lock, volume down+home+lock for several sec, all four buttons etc....). When I put it on my wireless charger, the light of the charger turns on but nothing on the phone.
Also no water damage + phone was not hot when unplugged.
Any clue ? Warranty just ended on 27th of Dec
Thanks in advance for your support !
