How to move apps to sd card???

Move them with Both hands !
first you gots to partition the sd card so it has like another "partion" area, this will allow you to move apps to it, moving them is a different matter, you have to get an app like "apptosd" for example, btw not sure if that's a real app , just off the top of my head, anyways then select move app, rom manager also works and can partition your sd card, however be warned partitioning successfully will delete data on da sd card methinks

I made a 1GB partition on my 8GB micro SD using cmw. I move the apps to the SD but not all the data is moved. For example, I have an app that's about 10MB, I move it to SD and there's still about 5MB left on the internal memory. Doesn't happen with all apps but that little extra memory adds up.
Is there a way to fully move the app and everything to do with it to the SD card? Most of my apps are installed on the SD but there's still a lot of internal memory being used up. I also read about a way to force the apps to SD. After I tried searching for it, I couldn't find it. Can someone help me on both questions please?
Summary; what I'm asking is, What is wrong with how the apps are being installed on the SD? How can I force non-moveable apps to the SD? Is there a way to move all the app data to the SD?
The app I'm using is apps2sd free. https://market.android.com/details?...sMSwxLDEsImNvbS5hMHNvZnQuZ3Bob25lLmFwcDJzZCJd Or is there any other app you guys recommend?
EDIT: I just installed Link2SD and it just said that only 16MB are being used on my 2nd patition. What is going on? I thought all my apps were installed externally? I'm so confused :/
Even i have same problem

If you want the entire app to be housed within the sd card then you should be using a2sd by Darktremor.
see if u r using link2sd , it links .apk , dex and lib files.....
and also install all apps on INTERNAL MEMORY then link them.... that way they will use your ext partition...... and check link automatically in link2sd....... apps will continue to use some internal memory but that was minimal when i used it.........
So if I link them, they get stored in the internal memory right? Then what's the point of linking them? And when they're moved to the sd card, why don't they get moved to the 2nd partition? Which one saves more space, linking them or moving them to the sd?

See now u hav 3 storages : Internal , EXt, and ur remaining SD card memory... since u already alotted 1 gb for apps .... thn why to move your apps to sd ?? just link them with the help of link2sd.....they will then occupy ur ext partition.... ( though apps data will be still on internal) ....
and also like you link few apps and expect to see a rise in internal memory.... you wont see rise until you reboot... wither quick reboot from link2sd or full reboot....
I used Link2SD to simply move some user apps that couldn't be moved by default to the SDcard, without linking, just the "app2sd" method into the main partition of the card. I read that if you move apps that way, shortcuts disappear. No problem, I'll just put them back. But every time I reboot the shortcuts disappear again, and even worse, my launcher puts all those apps at the bottom of the list, leaving "holes" in the screens where they once were. Any solutions to this?
link them instead of just moving them to sd
But my SD has no ext partition, do I have to move those apps back to the phone and then link them? I don't understand why apps normally moved to SD from "options" don't give these problems aswell.
Because as you said, you had to use link2sd to force move them to sd card, this means they weren't originally meant to be moved to sd. Just partition the sd card, it takes 2 minutes and will prove very useful in the future.

i have a 16gb sd card in and am running MeanRom 6.0, the problem i ham having is whenever i go into apps and try to move to sd, there is no option on doing so.
You can use titanium backup or android assistant.
Maybe the app you trying to move is not app2sd compatible try moving a different app like Netflix or Pandora. See if its work

If you use Titanium backup theirs two different places you can put your app in and that's internal memory and SD card. I believe what he's trying to ask is, can he put the app in the Ext SD card.
Theirs three memory places are phone has, Internal, SD card or Ext card. TBU only shows internal or SD card to save them in, not Ext SD card.

Ok, apparently my internal card is filling up quickly... How does one go about moving things to the sd card? Or is that not an option as of yet?
Running LiquidSmooth at the moment and all rooted out...
Folder mount is the best app for this.

personally i dont like folder mount i use link2sd app and yes it does work for the s4 you just cant make the ext on the external sd from the custom recovery any more you have to use the pc program to format the external sd to fat 32 and choose how ever much memory you want for that part then make the ext part and then also choose how much memory you want for that part go through the process then once you launch link2sd it will ask you to select the ext part of your external sd and there ya go you can now create symbolic links between your apps and external sd theres a guide floating around on the internet just look up how to use link2sd app

HELP.!!!!!!!
How can i move pre-installed apps to sd card??? My phone is rooted...
pre installed apps are usually placed in system folder
the updates of those apps can be moved to sd card using link2sd
in order to move the entire app to sd card, the system app should be converted to user app
heard about another app called folder mount with about the same usage, but personally haven't tried it yet
