[Q] USB Audio -- (DAC) - AT&T HTC One (M8)

Hello all,
I must be missing something here. ATT M8, stock rom; I've read everywhere that USB audio support is a standard feature. But no matter what I do, I can't get any audio with my FiiO E7. I use this with other devices no prob. I am stumped. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I have the E7, but did not try yet, I'll come back to you after I try

Best radio to use to connect P3113 to my car

Originally I had wanted to mount the P3113 right into my dash (in place of the radio) then I found out that they don't make custom kits to fit the tab. Had a friend estimate the time/price to make it happen and even from him doing the work it looked like it would be about $400 to build the custom parts for it. Not to mention about a days worth of work.
So based on above, I have decided to go another route, I am going to get a mount, and just put the tab over the radio (not in the dash just on the mount arm). So now I am left looking for a really cheap new radio, since no one will ever see the radio face since the tab will be in front of it.
Anyone have any suggestions on a cheap sturdy radio that I could get? Anyone done anything like what I am trying to do before? If possible I would like all the parts to be reusable for when I buy a new car down the road (currently in a 2002 Honda Civic).

However not in my possible world right now, I can't afford that much time/labor from my friend.
Thus I am looking into a radio head to install that will work the best with the tab, whether it be USB aux or a regular headphone Aux.
Any other suggestions? Or ways to do the original idea on the mega cheap lol
off topic maybe?

Not sure how either of the past 2 posts were off topic, unless you meant the topic of the thread altogether, then I don't know where else this would go.
This is kind of about accessories, its something that hooks up to your tab for use, in it's most basic form I think that is what an accessory is (I don't know the exact definition, so I apologize if I am incorrect).
His post with the link was on topic in the fact that that was my original plan however to pricey/time consuming.
So now I am looking into radios for the car, since I can always take the radio to my next vehicle when the time comes, I can't always take a custom made dash mount.
Any thoughts into a good cheap radio would be appreciated, I wasn't sure if USB would be an option with a radio, so that is something I could def use advice on, I would be using I Heart Radio for example, and I wasn't sure if that would play through a USB connection, or if it needs to be audio out through the headphones.
I'd go with a BlueTooth receiver. Here's one for $90

No CD. But will do USB & AUX & BT
I have a 2000 Xterra with the stock CD/cassette/am/fm radio in it. I use the cassette adapter or a radio transmitter to a headphone plug with no problems. The cassette adapter is a lil clearer to me.
Just mount the Tab, plug in to the adapter, and you are ready to rock out!

And this is not an off topic for the forum...the automobile is an ACCESSORY to the Galaxy Tab !

Well, at least the radio is....I'd think a wifi or aux rather than usb would be best, that way you can charge while playing

yes thank you

Bluetooth will disconnect when wifi connects

Att on 4.2.2
I have the same problem
How do we fix this problem without having to get on two different frequencies?
---------- Post added at 10:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:47 PM ----------
4.4.2 is still having problems with this.
Also my GPS seems to like to stop working in WAZE a fair amount of the time. I don't use other nav programs so I don't know about those.
Yea I think this is a problem when you have your phone plugged into the charger in your car.
In regards to the Wi-Fi kicking off while streaming Bluetooth, they sent me a new mega. This one works correctly.

[Q] Stock M8 not USB compliant with 2015 Mazda CX5! workaround?

Hi guys
Weaned myself off Apple with HTC One M8 (love it). I used the extra storage to re-rip my CDs to uncompressed files. They sound great!
Bought a brand new Mazda CX5 Grand Touring with Tech pkg (love it) partially because it was "Android compatible" .
It has 9 speakers with 5.1 surround-but it will only "surround" through the USB port or with a CD.
HTC bluetooth pairs, but won't recognize the car through USB!! I am told by HTC it is not compatible. Is this an issue with all new vehicles or just Mazda?
What is blocking this? Any work arounds without rooting?
I have a rooted Google Nexus 10, but would rather keep my phone stock while under contract if possible.
Thanks.
The issue is that Android has converted to MTP mode instead of USB mass storage; with the latter being what car stereo head units require.
Not sure if there is a mod to convert to USB mass storage, but I'd start there. Probably need root to do so (if such a mod exists).

Why? Warranty is still honored on a rooted phone. Only things that are out of warranty on AT&T are physical or water damage.

Bluetooth Issue

Is anyone else having an issue with song information not showing up in car stereo or any Bluetooth device after Marshmallow?
Nope. Works perfectly fine here. Although I have seen this issue on various other phones (mostly cheap ones).

May be you could try pairing your device again.

Ah I feel like I've tried everything except deleting it off the car system, turning the car off and restarting it before repairing.
Try and report.
