Just scroll the screen with your finger..
Just to be sure, have you installed Gear Fit Manager (from Samsung Store; not in Google Play store) and tab your favorite e-mail app there.

Ok, I've searched all through google and I want to figure this out. I really love the touchwiz calendar app and I desperately need to use some sort of tasks app that syncs with my google account. I know there are plenty of apps in the market that do this but I want to use the stock touchwiz one. But I can't figure out how to sync that with google. I looked at my wife's gs2 and that phone had a separate tasks app that did sync with a google account. So my question is twofold:
1. Is there anyway to sync my calendar-tasks app with google. (Right now it only syncs my calendar)?
2. Can I grab the tasks apk from the gs2 or does the international galaxy note have this and I can grab from there?
Thanks

Same here I'd like to know.
Although, I have been looking around. And also the GNote task works with Exchange.
The app that i have been using for this is google task organizer. Found this after trying out many.
Well updated and good dev support.
It syncs with the google tasks annd also appears as a GTO calendar in google calender.

Well I'm actually using any.do which I have been using on my xperia arc for quite some time now. However, I would like to be able to use the stock task app by Samsung because of it's beautiful UI and full screen widgets.

Anyone ever figure this out? I have an S3 and a Tab 2 7.0 and haven't figured out yet if stock touchwiz will sync the tasks portion up to google. I suspect it won't, otherwise I'd run a TW rom for the cool calendar app pin the S3 instead of AOSP CM10 based.

I have just bought the new Samsung Galaxy S3 in the UK and loving the phone so far, coming from the HTC Desire so quite a big jump ins size and spec ways.
One small problem, I'm having so far is I have added the Google Calendar widget to one of the home screens but when I tap on the widget it doesn't launch the calendar app. When I had the desire, if I clicked on the top of the calendar it would launch the calendar on the current day and if I tapped on one of the appointments the calendar would open up on the day for that appointment, but neither of these are working.
I also can't find the calendar app within the app drawer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
The calender is now called S Planner in the app drawer.

Thanks this worked, I disabled the S-Planner as I thought this was Samsung's own bloatware app. This isn't the default google calendar app though which I prefer, is there a way to disable the S-Planner and use the genuine Google Calendar App. It seems a bit strange to me that samsung have replaced the google calendar with their own version. Not to keen on S-planner
Thanks
I have the same question, is it possible to replace s-planner with google calendar app?

Find the APK and you should be set.

Anybody know where to find google calendar app?
I searched on the Play store and it's on there. Someone pulled it out of ICS 4.0.3.

I still have the gear 1 with a old version of gear manager thats let me receive my exchange emails from my job.
I would like to get the Gear S but really need to see my Exchange Emails on the watch. Did samsung get this fixed for the U.S?

**If they did not fix it yet, you can use programs like Nine or CloudMagic to get your email notifications on your Gear 2. Works well for me. Not perfect solution, but passable if only option.
Nine and CloudMagic aern`t avaliable under gear manager

I see nine under gear manager and it does push emails to watch
I was referring to apps for the phone for Nine and Cloud Magic, not as a Gear app. You set up email on phone, then make sure that program is checked off on the Gear Notification list. Both do have issues though, as if you get multiple emails without checking them separately, they get bunched together on Gear 2, and I think yesterday they could not be read on the Gear S at all. Hopefully a full fix will come.
I'm coming from an HTC M8 and have been using my work exchange emails from within the Gmail app since support was added late last year. However, the gmail app on the S6 Edge does not have Exchange as an option when adding an account - just POP and IMAP.
Is there something I'm missing, or has Samsung disabled email clients other than their own from using exchange?
Have you updated all the apps in the Play Store?
I'm having the same issue on my Galaxy S6. All of my apps have been updated in the Play Store. Any ideas? I don't want to have to run two email apps to get my work email... (I really hate exchange servers)

I believe if you disable the stock email app then you will also disable the exchange function in Gmail.

I can't speak to that as I haven't disabled the stock email app, however I did find a solution to this problem as discussed in another thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/themes-apps/gmail-exchange-support-t3070884
The problem appears to be that Samsung blocks the Google Exhange APK in the Play Store. However, you can still download the APK and install it after enabling 3rd Party Software installs in security settings, then it will work. You can get Google's APK here: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google...ge-services-6-5-1729047-android-apk-download/

Do you like using Gmail over the built in app? I was actually pleasantly surprised by it.
I do. Option wise its good, quick, simple layout.
Rather than have a keyboard how about an app that would sync with Google Keep or a similar note phone app ? We have calendars & tasks but notes would be useful.
I think about integrate MyWatchNotes with Amazmod. So you can make your notes/lists on your phone and watch it on your watch

Google never released API for Keep. So no one has developped some app wich show keep notes (unless your phone is rooted)

Google have totally messed up tasks/to do lists. Maybe I can use a spare calendar account & get the tasks to appear on my Timeline.
