Hi, I'm trying to get my S3 i9300 (Orange, UK) network unlocked. I've read that from 4.3 you had to downgrade to 4.1. Does the same thing need than on 4.4 custom rom and is it safe? Any help appreciated.
The free unlock method was specifically for the i747 and i747m running a completely stock 4.1.1 ROM. Not sure that this method will work on the i9300.

I have recently updated my Galaxy S3 GT I9300 unlocked in Pakistan to AOPK kitkat nightly 4.4.2. but its not so good. now i want to downgrade my S3 to previous 4.1.2 samsung official firmware. Can anyone pls help me to downgrade my phone :crying: Plz i want to go back to previous firmware.I have read downgrading methods but i cant found official firmware for S3 GT I9300. Plz tell me what to do or help me finding official 4.1.2 firmware. Thankss alott in advance.

My galaxy s3 shows in setting that it is i9300 but when i check my imei it says sgh-i747 and in download mode too it shows i747 . I wanted to install a stock firmware on my s3 . Could you guys help me out and direct me to a stock firmware . My phone has 2gb ram and snapdragon s4 . I currently flashed it with sgh-i747 rom but as my network in unlocked i could not get any updates. Its at&t firmware that i am using now 4.1.1
You don't have an i9300 so anything here will hard brick it. Go to the right forum for help, see the sticky post on American phones.
