Has anyone found a way to remove Tmobile's update icon from the Notification bar in Kit Kat?

No.
The Gravity developer (C3C076), has a Red Letter Message on his thread saying Do Not use... and ...Samsung Touchwiz Not Supported..
I'm surprised that T-mobile researchers haven't found a solution like Verizon and AT&T....

I take no credit, thanks, or nothing. I just decided to try this and it actually worked!
I was able to install the 3Minit Framework from gharrington on my Verizon S4.
Source; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2276611
I went to his site at http://www.mediafire.com/folder/7c3ob3l93h44m/3Minit_Framework_4.2.2 and downloaded the Framework 1.8 file from I9505 folder. I then went to Google Play and installed the 3Minit Settings S4 paid app. I was able to basically change everything I wanted on the Status/Notification window--even removed the GPS location icon.
MAD props to gharrington!
FYI; you have to flash framework before installing the app--I used TWRP for it.
Didn't work for me. Got no status bar on boot.

AYE; did you read the notes on his thread? It only works on a stock rooted deodexed 4.2 ROM.
I used MyComputerDoctor deodexed rooted ROM for my phone.
For Jellybean 4.2.2. DEODEXED roms only

Yup, I'm deodexed. I will just stick with the xposed mod since they pretty much do the same things.

Anyone know if unicon works on the note? I want to change icons and from what I understand is that you need unicon to do so. I've checked the list of xposed mods that work and it wasn't listed, but thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks!

Are you rooted?
If yes, then install Xposed framework and Wanam module. That should help you out bro.

Yes, use Xposed module.
You will find here, but first you have to install Xposed Framework :

Hello!
I would also like my carrier name in the status bar on my phone, I am rooted and have got the Xposed Framework installed as well as Wanam module but I cannot find how to enable carrier name in the status bar for the life of me!
Just to clarify, this is to have the carrier name displayed on the top bar in the left like the Moto G and most AT&T US android phones are sold.
Thank you
Jack
The Phono app from playstore can add carrier logo in your status bar.

I do not find the option in wanam to add operator in status bar? Can anybody help?
There is actually an easier way of doing this. I posted a guide a while ago on how to change the carrier info in build.prop to alter the look of the status bar. If you change the device info to lteatt the you get the carrier in the status bar. If you change it to ltetmo, ltevzw or ltespr then there is no carrier. Each one though also mods certain icons to those carrier icons. I'm on mobile now so can find the link but you can search for it.

I have the Alliance rom v3 installed on my Galaxy s5. Love the Rom but have a few issues I'm trying to figure out how to fix. Any ideas how to fix the grayed out panels and change the greenish color of the panels. Pics below! I tried looking in settings but no luck thanks a million!

I thought that was a TW thing. I have the same issue on stock so it has nothing to do with your rom. Maybe it's an xposed thing?

Yeah, it's really jarring and annoying.
To change the gray panels to stock color: go to Settings/Custom Settings/General Mods/ then uncheck Dialog pop ups user selected

I'm sure there is, but that will definitely be more work than just setting it via the settings. What is it you're trying to achieve exactly? Also, I believe those dialog boxes are in the framework-res apk. To edit them you need to decompile the apk, edit the .9 PNG's, recompile, then push to your phone.
Here is a tool and a guide I have found that will help you.

Hey,
Can anyone of you suggest me a transparent or transaluent statusbar? I have an Xperia Sola using the Carbon Rom (4.4.4), but the problem is I can't really find a good Xposed modul.
Is there an xposed modul which has the following things:
is only tranpsarent in the homescreen
when you are in apps the background is black
