Hey guys sorry if this is in the wrong place but i was wondering if getting cyanogenmod is possible on galaxy ace 2 (GT-I8160L) i dl'ed the .zip for cm11 and Gapp went through all the steps (recovery mode,reset etc etc) only for my phone to tell me that its only for the GT-I8160. its been infuriating me all arvo please help

you can't flash it
because it have different architecture
if you flash the rom it will givr bootloops or can be run with too many bugs

I'm trying to put a custom boot sound on my Galaxy Ace S5830 which has the Custom ROM: Pacman All in 1
I cant seem to get any sound out of the thing I have searched an amazing amount of posts and treads trying to find out how to do this.
Things I've tried:

Try all above with converting .wav file to .ogg file
Help! I just rooted my phone and I want to use AOKP as my new rom, but I read that I should also install credit recovery. I have looked everywhere and I am not sure how to install it on Fl24. Can anybody help me?

I believe the process is similar to installing CM on P3110... i've just got a new 10.1 samsung tab 2.
Can anyone provide me the links to the Clockworkmod recovery, Gapps, and if theres an updated Samsung USB driver zip ?

Hey Guys,
I managed to get CWM running, after running CF-AUTOROOT. However when i go to install the CM10.1 it begins the install process and then i get error message : assert failed : get prop ("ro.product.device) -- P5110 error in SDCARD/CM/CM-10.1-20130417.NIGHTLY-P5110.Zip, installation aborted.
Any suggestions or step by step guides would be appreciated.
Just so you know, this is the original galaxy tab 10.1 section.. Not the tab 2

Hello im new to this forum and its the only place where i can post or get info i got the mobile odin pro form google play store,and im grateful to you guys and Chainfire I need to set Cyanogen 10.1 ROM on my sgs3 gt 19300 international,the file is zip ,please tell me how to make it .tar or tell me any other way to do it sorry if im noob but im new to android ^^

You should just flash TWRP or CWM via Odin first, then Superuser, then flash the ROM from recovery.

Im new but i need help. i have g s plus GT-I9001 and i tried to change ROM for fresher one. I red a bit about it but theres so much different info, i choose best thread on best forum and i did every thing from this post:

for CyanogenMod 10.1 (Jelly Bean) and all its doing now is booting to CWM (cwm has been instaled properly and works) im instaling zip from sd
(cm-10.1-20130607-dev_connection_team-release1-ariesve.zip downloaded and on sd card) it says that its instaled and ok but phone still boots to cwm only.
i think i made some simple and noob mistake, not saw smthn in the post, i dont know,
If someone could help i would be greatful.
