Why don't people make threads after they've uploaded it? Is there some sort of prize to get it out to the public the quickest? Even if there was, would the 30 minutes it takes to upload really make a difference?

According to XDA Rules, one should never create a 'placeholder' thread.
While I'm thankful people are working on it quickly, let's not forget that we should stay within the rules of XDA and upload something when it is ready and working. To me, that is the most logical way to do it.
It would be like starting a new job and telling your boss how ready you are, but walking into an office in shorts and a tank top. People would think, "Why did he say he's ready to work and ready for this job if he doesn't have the right work attire?"

OP u know the server you are uploading it to is gonna go BOOOOOM after you give us the link.
I'm sure a MOD will lock this thread until Link is Finally ready. Hope its tested by you and working fine on your end.

I'm not sure how many people actually would like this type of boot animation but I created this over the weekend. Its a couple graphics I found on the internet and then animated it. I am however having trouble getting the boot sound I created to play with it. I'm currently running Auxral 2.1 ROM and placed the file in the correct spot but I believe it might be turned off elsewhere. Well I've also attached a GIF. I'll be creating a custom shutdown screen next with the same type of theme.

Edited original post, didnt realize I didnt put it up. As far as I'm aware this should work on any Samsung Galaxy S. Just replace the bootanimation.ZIP file.

I would just like to apologise for everything I have done, I didn't mean to cause any disturbance on your work but it has become apparent it has. All I wanted to do was make an AOSP looking ROM with tweaks, but all I reallly did was copy your ROM and add a theme I made.
For that, I am a fraud
It's doubtful I will get another chance to post anything on XDA anymore as most people know of what I've done. Sorry again.

If he is willing to make a rom without copying someone elses and theming it, by all means, let him do it, or just post a theme.
I told him he could use my rom as reference to learn how I did some of the mods I did, not copy my entire rom, theme and release it. I appreciate all the credit in the OP, but no permission was given to do what he did.

Now, nitrozk, I like your theme, post it in the theme section. I am not sure why you needed an entire rom to do a nice theme.

again this is for the previous base, not the new kernel included in the latest OTA, but I am sure once some devs break it down, they will make it work.
leave it to HTC to release source the day after they updated it to a new base/source.
I don't care if it isn't for the new one if it helps someone like Kush get CM9 working better.
