CM 11, how to change external usb storage mount point? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
By default, external usb drives are mounted on /storage/usbisk. I want to change it and force external usb to mount in /sdcard/DCIM. Where can I set this? I'm rooted, but have no idea where can I set this.

Automount SD

Anyone found a way to automount the SD when USB is plugged in?
So far I tried the program Dual Mount SD and enabled Auto Mount but cannot get SD to mount automatically.
To the best of my knowledge there's nothing out there that will do this. I have tried several other but they don't work

[Q] Weird internal storage USB mounting issue

When I connect my Atrix to a PC and put it in USB storage mode, a removable drive comes up for the internal storage but it is not accessible.
The internal storage has however been unmounted in the OS and all the apps on it are inaccessible. If I go to Storage in Settings, I do not see an option to remount it so to remount it I have to reboot.
Any ideas what is causing this issue and how to fix it? My external SD card mounts fine it's just the internal storage that doesn't work....
This is happening to me too ... all of the sudden, BOTH my internal and external SD are not mounted. They do not show up at all in the settings ==> storage menu and are no longer accessible via PC when the phone is hooked up via USB.
When an app tried to access them, the error is "NO SD MOUNTED".
Any ideas ?

un-mounting USB storage?

I've got the RR ROM (root) and was looking for a clean way to unmount USB storage device?
ie mounted via OTG cable
I only see an unmount option for SD card.

How to mount an external USB stick in OmniROM?

How do I mount an external USB stick? I thought it was under /mnt/usbdisk0, but it's apparently not. I can access this folder and create folders in it fine, but it's still there, and I can manipulate files on it even after I unplug the drive. Also, accessing this directory does not power on the USB light. How do I access external USB drives in OmniROM? The drive is formatted in FAT32, so it should be accessible from any device.

USB Mass Storage locations to mount?

I'm working on a tablet for a friend, running Android 4.1.1, just got it rooted, Link2SD running, SD card properly partitioned. Everything is good... except before installing Link2SD and partitioning the card, when I would connect the tablet to my PC by USB, and turn on USB Storage on the tablet, my PC would mount the tablet's internal storage from /mnt/sdcard and the tablet's micro SD card ... now that I'm using Link2SD when I enable USB Storage, it mounts the regular fat32 portion of the micro SD and the ext2 partition of the micro SD card created for Link2SD. Any idea why this is and how to correct it? I'm hoping there's a system setting somewhere that I can list which locations to share when turning on USB Storage mode on the tablet.
