I have used it. While it's relatively stable, there are bugs and features missing so it should be clear to anyone that it's not ready to be used as a daily driver. Making a ROM from it is just silly.

It's not so much features that are missing when compared to stock 4.4.4, it's that there are features that will be added later. It's incomplete and is subject to change a lot within the next few months. If it were me making a ROM, I would at least wait until a stable source is available. That's all I'm saying.

Common dude ....
There is no rule says that I can't make ROMs on say alpha or beta...
Ask my testers how much effort I made on making this....just for nexus5 community ...
Not even for me also ....all nexus 5 sokp users knows I don't have nexus.
Let users enjoy the rom if possible let's help them to solve issues.[emoji6]
Have a nice day

L is very stable IMO. there are a lot of changes coming before final release. A lot of the problems are with non Google apps. But a lot of them are getting out new builds to work with L. Most are problems with ART and new rooting used.
The mods AG made improve the audio of the ROM by a lot IMO. I do have a problem with Wi-Fi not connecting unless static that i Didn't have on L release though. But He'll work it out in time =)
If the app developers are making their apps work on L why not also make mods work on L. But if you cant deal with loss of certain things wait til they are fixed.

ICS video :
What is King Kang?King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. Without these teams, this ROM would not be possible.

Information
Some AOKP features power over the ParanoidAndroid ones. For example, in order to get Tablet UI, you first need to check the "Tablet UI" option in ROM Control, then change it to the desired mode in Paranoid Android, and then reboot.
This ROM began as a creation by DAGr8 for Android 4.0, ICS. It offered a simple AOKP + PA combination.
The ROM is currently being built 100% from source. The "team", a.k.a. people maintaining and adding features from other ROMs is currently myself and DAGr8. Without the other teams though, this ROM would be nothing.

I just popped in to tell you that you are missing 1 "zoom" from the title. This is probably due to a technical limitation, I don't know. It's just my job to inform people on the Internets when they make a small mistake. Larger mistakes are forwarded to my wife.
I've been flash free for almost a week now...enjoying JamieD's Paranoid ROM.

Same here. Default keyboard seems to be full size (recognition-wise) but appearance is single handed - that is why there is a discrepancy between where you press on the keyboard vs the button being triggered (as far as I can tell). Tried GO Keyboard - same thing. The discrepancy increases for buttons on the right.
For people having keyboard problems set DPI in AOKP settings to whatever you like and then reboot. It worked for me.
Omgooooodnesss more aokp!! Thank you!!

Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.
Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone. I know you've seen tablet mode roms before, they change two lines in your build.prop file which you could easily edit yourself in seconds and maybe throw a keyboard in there to make it work better. It's a start, but this ain't enough. This thing has potential, but it is wasted the moment you try to stuff a full blown tablet into your poor phone. Yet we all know our high res phones can very well handle more than silly 1-column layouts. So the magic must be in between somewhere, a place that Google must have overlooked and left blank. Yes, this rom strives to drop your device into tablet mode, but it won't stop there, it will reshape and redefine ICS to make it all a useful addition and not just a cute novelty. we're calling it: Hybrid Mode, best of both worlds.

camera wont work? what about hw acceleration? and is this based off linaro too?
"Flash a GB kernel" is this referring to terrasilent?
FINALLY!!! I've been waiting for a PA on the 4.0 but I was a bit lazy to port it . Nice job!! Also is it possible to port MIUI? (if you want of course ).
EDIT: I found the rom nice so far however I can't seem to remove the soft keys. Do I have to put a stock framework-res.apk?

First of all, how about "Thanks for your work"?
the first line says "using Hanthesolo's linaro rom as a base"
any GB kernel means any GB kernel - terrasilent, klin's, etc.
bugs are the same as linaro ics - my bad, should have made it clearer
I've ported AOCP...anyone interested? it's slightly better than AOKP

I want to commend you (again) on your awesome work. Now, instead of maintaining 4-6 roms at once with different device trees each, I can simply focus on and improve one, providing performance and stability for you guys far faster than I would otherwise, and enabling me to push updates a lot faster.

yeah, since there are no porting-derived bugs, updating the base every so often is definitely easier than building a different rom each time
now if only i could get codename-android to boot we'd have a good variety of roms!
Great Job theraf. Awesome work. So do you and anyone else know what's the difference between Codename:Nebula, Linaro, and this rom? I probably going to start changing roms again at the end of the year, but now I don't know which one to chose lol.

Loving the rom. I cannot wait for updates to this. You guys are all very talented and we appreciate your efforts! I managed to get the layout to look nice and used Root App Delete to disable a few system apps that were broken/don't work with player, and it gave it quite a little boost.

The struggle to find the rom you need is over. Some people like CyanogenMod 10, Some prefer AOKP, Some like the advantages of Paranoid Android, to cure your rom hunt we have come up with the P A C man Rom, PACman is a unique rom, we have picked the best features from CM10, Aokp and PA and combined them in a single rom so you get the experience you deserve, to enjoy the features of every available project without the hassle of flashing regularly, the Rom is rock stable for an average user but keep in mind the Rom is in WIP stage so expect some minor hickups but we are trying our best to resolve these issues.
Disclamer: AS PER ALL ICS/JB BUILDS, YOU NEED TO HAVE A BACKUP OF EFS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO
GET SCREWED. I WON'T REPLY TO ANY MISSING EFS CASES.

Is it normal that there isn't any bootanimation. That don't really bother me but alot of persons could think their device are not booting. Anyway, thanks for this rom, it seems really amazing.

No offense, but in my opinion this is a bit too little of a improvement to be released as a separate ROM. You would be better off making some kind of addon pack.
And credit the awesome devs who actually ported CM for our devices. I don't suppose you did that by yourself.

So..it says it's build .242..
Does that mean we can't install it on .254?
Or am I confused here?
Is it compatible with all versions of the SP? (C5303/2/6)

Build 242 refers to FXP 242 CM 10.1 for SP. Its got nothing to do with Sony's Stock .254 build. You can definitely install FXP242 or this ROM on stock .254 and any version of SP. Hope that helps

yeah i know it. but he's just don't know what his doing. we are getting his back to the right way.
he said this is based on FXP 242, have his tried it yet? FXP 242 have a broken kernel and it will not booting.
cm only booting on ubberlaggydarwin and eagleeyetom build which posted on cm10.1 discussion in general sections. and no credits for them?
and i just don't get the point here.
why we needed a rom with cm11 or aosp 4.4 from nexus devices look a like?
because we already have CM 11 from ubberlaggy and FXP then AOSP 4.4 from adfad?
i really appreciated if this rom have something new features
like working on locked boatloader devices.
@op sorry no offense, i really like your spirit, but i just hope you know what you're doing for your working.

image by anseboviThis rom was compiled by me only, Scott.Hart.bti has done the real work!
I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself. This is a build composed off of the CM builds and ScottHart.BTI has added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions come from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and wallpapers!

***Please keep in mind that this is the initial release and bugs are to be expected. I am working on this myself and do not have a team that is helping me. Before reporting bugs, please make sure you verify everything on your end and make sure you do a full wipe and format first to make sure it is a legitimate issue. Im going to say this once and only once... I am doing this for fun. It is my CHOICE to share my work with everyone. If you decide that you do not like my work, good for you.. Move on and flash something else. I will not tolerate ungrateful people in my thread.***
[*]Make sure you are rooted with a custom recovery & on "UCMD3" Modem!!
[*]Download both the BeanStalk build and the latest GAPPs package.
[*]Boot into recovery
[*]Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe /system and dalvik cache as a precaution
[*]Flash BeanStalk build
[*]Flash GAPPs package
[*]Reboot
[*]You will NEED to FLASH SuperSU by itself until I have the time to fix the one built into my rom.

This has been a long road but finally!!NOTICE: THIS BUILD HAS KITKAT BEANSTALK IMAGES & BOOTANI!!!
The reason for this is because BeanStalk WILL NOT boot on this device with the 5.0 parts for some strange reason?
NEW BUILD with Beanstalk papers & bootani from kitkat!
Sweet ROM. Hope you can get the boot ani from LP going....it's killer!
Edit: 2 Notes. To get the pull down tiles to show, go to Smart Pull Down and set it to anything but "Off".
To get Weather to show in the pull down....turn on the Weather toggle and then tap the null-null in the pull down.....that will take you to the Weather Settings.

had to install SuperSU-v2.45 thru recovery to gain root.

I believe that we need to repartition the device for our gapps & maybe for the bootani as well. I've been looking at doing this but I need to find a stock "pit" file so I can proceed. If you could point me to that file then we could possibly flash any gapps and have the 5.0+ bootani with wallpapers.

If you would like to mess around & see what all will work from 5.0 & up I'd be happy to add those things back into my BS builds? Like the bootani & wallpapers. When I add supersu the way Scott has it setup it always gives an error when flashing so I am trying to implement it into my rom like in my others. I'm always busy but open for suggestions to make my work better or whatnot. Also did you see my post about a pit file? Not really sure how much that would help users but it would allow us to flash the full gapps if we desired to do so.

I've looked around and from what I can tell you need to be running stock firmware to extract the pit file. I doubt it will be of any use but there is a pit file for the rogers variant of the i717 on the gsmhosting forums
