Hello guys. I can't really post on the thread of CM11 so i'm trying to get some answers here.
I've already searched that thread but couldn't find anything related to my problem.
The thing is: I was with the March nightlies, can't remember what was it.
But I could drop down the status bar when I was inside a game or an app that was fullscreen.
Now with the 26/06 nightlie I can't do that. I have to get back to the homescreen
Is it related with the 4.4.4 version or is it an option by CM?

Hey all.
I recently bought a Galaxy S2 and am in search for a custom ROM (or even a good App) that will allow me as much UI customization as possible..
For instance I want to be able to control which icons to hide on the status bar, which buttons (and in which order) appear in notification tray, how long the "long press" should be.. and other little tweaks like that.
Most of the stuff I'm looking for were part of the Cyanogen Mod 7 i used to have on my Nexus One. But I was unable to flash it on my Galaxy.
Suggestions?
GB roms something like JKay mods in the Themes section .

Hi all,
I would have posted this in the development forum in the appropriate thread, but I'm prevented from doing so due to the forum rules.
Anyway, I recently flashed a CM 10.1 nightly (latest) on my Galaxy S2, and cannot find the, "Show widgets before unlock" toggle in the lockscreen/sercurity settings. I searched around and found out that there have been problems on CM 10 with it (I had flashed CM9 stable on there before and it was there and worked fine) so was it removed for CM 10.1? Or can I not just find it?
I'm also coming from the latest AOKP rom and couldn't find it there either.
Love this feature as I love the lockscreen widgets but feel insecure without a lock.
Thanks in advance.

It's probably not merged yet.
Or you could post it in the thread dedicated to what you're asking about. Which isn't in the development section. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1796733
I thought I'd stick on the latest v15 of Ripper ROM today seeing as I hadn't updated for ages. I did a full wipe and installed the ROM, however when I use the bluetooth toggle in the notification bar I get a force close on System UI! Anyone got any ideas or is it a bug in the ROM? Unfortunately I can't post in the dev thread yet as I don't have enough posts!
Thanks.
Hi i really like the official JellyBean status bar with that flashing light as we touch it at the bottom and was thinking is there any way to get it on our Desire X ! Thanx

the answer to it is ... CM10.1!
That my friend is something called "stock android layout", HTC modifies the official Google layout and changes it to something called "Sense Ui", so there are not much ways to accomplish this, the only way I know is you either need cyanogen mod, 10/10.1, aokp/aosp, or any ROM which has the stock Google layout.
From my findings I'd suggest you wait for CyanogenMod 10.1, its on a good start.

Yep that's probably the best advice. Changes to the status bar are at a reasonably low level on the phone, so a new launcher etc won't change it at all. You need a rooted device and a custom ROM to achieve it. CyanogenMod 10.1 would be an ideal one as it is pretty much stock 4.2.2 and has the features you want! Obviously with the DX there isn't many AOKP roms at present but work is underway!
If you want to keep up with updates to Android and stay completely stock a Nexus device is the way to go!
Thanx Guys..
I will now wait for CM 10.1 ... Hope it cums asap
Cant wait..
