Not sure I know they have been working on it. They seem to have it right for vw. I would say flash it and see. Make sure you have a nandroid back up.

I have a issues with this rom...well this and cm11. I have a Verizon Max using it with Att Straight Talk sim. The problem with this and CM 11 is that neither of them has voice! I'm not sure what it is. All Sense roms work fine but CM 11 roms has no sound when when dialing out...it doesn't even connect. It just says dialing for 15 secs then hangs up. I've tried the latest TWRP and CWM and neither has any sound but they both have data. i don't know what the problem is...any ideas?

Have you tried switching to just use 3g? Before cm11 went official they where having problems with 4g. Under Mobil networks try using CDMA without lte.

Thanks to all you Devs who have been up at night and racking your brains on this. WiFi has not been as much of an issue for me on the VW variant. Looking forward for the next nightly. :good:

Unfortunately after kitkat Google dropped tablet mode, making it impossible to have tablet/hybrid mode seen on earlier versions of android.

This happens either if you have a bad download or you're not using the CM-ready TWRP.

If you're near a PC you can use with adb if your familiar with it if you could send me a kmsg right after it reboots that'd help a ton. The command would be
Code:
adb shell cat proc/last_kmsg > kmsg.txt
and send me the text file after verifying it worked. This has to be done after it boots up after the unexpected reboot, so be sure not to reboot your device again before doing this.
reboot
Ok, If it does it again I well pull that log for you. From the time it happend I have rebooted and wiped. Do you think its safe to use ART for runtime with Pac ROM?

I switched to ART right after flashing so I didn't have any apps beforehand, so I'd recommend wiping. As for status bar, don't know much abut that but I've observed that too I really don't know what to make of it I mean it's not really affecting anything haha

Better check your APN settings first.
If correctly set then check in settings mobile data on or off.
Then try to restart phone.
Still problem flash the ROM twice and reboot.

Yeah I started getting this issue lately
save APN settings for internet and MMS and you should be fine.
Telstra (my provider) i just get them to sms the settings to me everytime I put on a new rom
this changes the mobile data status from disconnected to connected.
Thanks guys, got it working now. It was just the APN settings for this particular ROM.
Use supportive kernel for your ROM.

I flashed this with the TWRP I downloaded from these forums from the external SD card.
I have confirmed WiFi is working just fine.
I have not activated this device yet, so I have not run mobile data. That being said, I cannot see why it wouldn't work since I didn't mess with radios or anything.
The kernel gives you root on all adb shell connects.
I also included the SYSRW and SYSRO scripts for mounting /system for changes if needed.
This includes the SuperSu version of su and it's APK.
Download:
dsb9938.VZW.One.Max.Stock.Deodex.Root
MD5: a4d70d684dcf09abcd6949a22b55ce06
I've downloaded and flashed. I can confirm that lte data is working just fine.

I guess it messed up the original 'carrier' partition. If u look closely to the partitions table somewhere in forum. I'm currently outside of country but roaming and using data on other network just fine. Only Vinaphone messed up.
What I did was flashing International Rom into this phpne to test as if it would work or not but got bootloop so i reflash VZ rom again. Thats when those APNs of Vinaphone started to messed up.
If only we can have Encrypted RUU from Verizon and try to reflash to stock, perhaps that would help ? Maybe need to S-on and locked bootloader first.

Ok, lets test this :
- put your Vinaphone Sim into the phone
- go to Data Connection, change network to CDMA. Your phone now shouldnt have any signal.
- Now you can manually dial ##778# and hitting send in your dialer. Choose EDIT mode. The password is 000000. This will take you to your programming screen. Go to modem settings and then Rev A, change it to enabled and then hit the menu button on your phone and commit the changes. It will tell you to reboot.
Let the phone fully reboot then switch back to GSM/UTMS, let see how it goes.

Let me dig in a lil bit more. Im currently in Egypt for business. When i get back VN after 2 more days i'll test more. But pretty sure that only reflash an encrypted RUU solves the problem. I managed to find everywhere for an encrypted RUU but no success.
My phone in day 1 works perfectly with 3G but one time i got into airplane and put the phone into flight mode, then 3G dissapeared. I guess it has to be something with phone's PRL too. Managed to update the phone's PRL files to Verizon latest but still no joy.
Maybe no more Verizon phone for me. Been on almost every single flagship phone in the market but this phone is a pain in da a$$ for data connection.

Very first post so please let me know if I should ask this in a different way. I'm not new to flashing roms this has just been the first time I've been stuck without and understanding to a clear answer. Have flashed several versions of KK and all of them as of late for our device "EVO LTE" do not seem to have internal data working. This was a problem in CM10.2 and was fixed early in the nightlies with an APN and GPS fix. Was just wondering if there might be something I can do to get my data to work without having to rely on WiFi as I love to use my navigation or maps or google now, etc. while driving around town. Thanks in advance as I look forward to being a helpful participant to this forum for our device.:good:

OK so I've tried your suggestions as it has been the norm to do when experiencing data issues, and my results are all over the place like you said... It did show LTE and 3G and while it did data worked as I could browse long enough to open google home page but then went back to R for roaming with no data. So I gues its back to 4.3 as I have to have data without WiFi. Thanks for any further replys or help in this matter as I would like to be on a KK rom but have not flashed one yet that I have internal data working for more than a few seconds.

I'm not sure why people are getting the random phone issues. I don't have any issues with that at all. I haven't had to do any build prop edits or anything. The only issue I've come across is when pressing the wifi toggle in the notification panel the systemui crashes.

Same here, phone crashes. I couldn't get data either. I chose Vzw in Aroma and also switched to lte/cdma. It was super snappy though.
Found MIUI 7 for f400 from here. http://en.miui.com/download-257.html
Has anyone tried this already? Will this work woth our ls990??

doesnt work. Its a combo of kernel/modem compatibility issues. No signal at all.

Wink working....ls990
I was able to get everything working on my phone( Sprint varient), and so far so good.
!. Made a nanodroid backup of course.
2. Clean wipe of phone.
3. Flashed kit kat modem.
4. Flashed Vanir KK apn(can't remember where I got them. Had a backup copy. Maybe in the Sprint G3 forms)
5. Reboot, go through setup----->Golden...(hopefully).<-----(make sure to set the apns' in settings)
I'm no expert by any definition of the word. This just happened to work for me. Good luck.
Side note:
If this does not work for you, maybe try doing some build prop edits. That was going to be my next step. I was going to try the same edits I had to do with cloudy 2.5 to get data working. They can be found in the cloudy forms also. This info is for Ls990 users only.
Side note 2: Do not change any mobile network setting. Meaning do not select CDMA only, LTE only,etc...... I did that and could not get signal anymore (don't know why). Had to start from scratch again...stumped with that one.
Good luck x2.....

Results so far?
I've followed this exact guide and no dice. It seems like MIUI came out with an update with 5.11.10. I'm going to try this tonight when I get home and let you know from there.

Edit: No luck, still can't get data to work.
