Anyone else having this issue? I'm using twcp and I can't boot via volume and power button.
Only can do it via cm reboot menu.
Also can't get into download mode with usb+volume buttons.
Volume buttons work
After restarting your phone, hold the volume up + power button. You should then see a fastboot menu. Press the volume button down twice and then the power button and you should then be in your recovery.

After hours on this finally got into recovery. Double tap volume up and power button. For some reason it doesn't detect on first hold (weird).

Coming from CM10.1, I wiped everything, and mistakenly rebooted into recovery instead of flashing a new ROM. So I see the Galaxy S/CM logo, and can't get into download mode. Tried power off/volume button combo. When I connect it to my computer, the device manager sees it, but Odin does not see it. Is my only shot now installing Ubuntu and attempting Heimdall? I'll wait till the battery drains to see if that will do anything. Thanks in advance for any help.
If you see the galaxy s/ cm logo it's not bricked. I've done what you did a few times but I managed to get into recovery/cwm mode or download mode. Just press power button + volume down for download mode. For cwm press power button + volume up. Hold both buttons and keep holding until just samsung appears then let go only the power button while holding volume up button until cwm menu appears.
FYI if you installed april 7th build cm 10.1, then the button combination for cwm does not work, if it was april 14th then button combinations work.

Thank You SO MUCH ! You were correct - I guess I wasn't waiting long enough while holding down the buttons. I'm back to Jackpot's ROM, and VERY HAPPY I didn't brick my device ! :highfive:
Anytime. Happy flashing!

Hi there
I recently got this tablet to fix GOCLEVER TAB A73
The guy which gave me that tablet blocked his tablet by trying to guess his password. But It's blocked. This is where the fun begins.
He doesn't remmember his email and password for his google. So I think that the only way is to Factory reset his tablet.
But I can't get to know how do I enter recovery mode.
I tried following :
Hold Volume + and power button for 10secs
Hold Volume - and power button for 10 secs
Hold both volume buttons and power for 10 secs
I tried to google "Recovery mode GOCLEVER TAB A73" but there was nothing I read the docummentation and also nothing.
Could somebody help me with this issue?
Thank you.
You have to press VOLUME UP + HOME BUTTON + POWER BUTTON when the device turns on stop pressing the power button but keep pressing the other 2 after it will boot in recovery mode

i was on stock lollipop build on my moto e and i flashed fenomenal mod kernel and the phone is now n constant bootloop. it switches down at unlock bootloader boot logo. i have trying to go into reovery but i cannot. how do i boot into recovery?
Try this....
on your phone press power, volume up and volume down keys at the same time.
Keep pressing the buttons for about 3 or 4 seconds.
The boot menu should be then displayed on your device.
Use the volume down button in order to scroll down until you highlight the recovery option and then press volume up key once.
You should see the Android logo displayed on your Moto E.
At that point press Volume Up and Volume Down buttons for about 5 seconds and press power button once.
In the end the recovery mode menu should be displayed on your phone.

Hey there!
Can you still access "download mode?" Download mode is accessed by holding down the volume decrease button and the home button.
Press the power button, volume decrease button and home button at the same time but letting go of the power button and keep pressing and holding the volume decease and home button while the download mode screen appears. you will know this when you see a green android and a "downloading now" screen.
NOTE: do you have a copy of t-mobile's stock firmware to re-install?
I have flash TWRP Recovery, I can enter recovery from the advanced restart menu, but I don't know how to enter Recovery from power off status.
The following methods not work:
long press volume up button+ power button
long press volume up button + volume down button + power button
Holding Volume Up and Power Button = Recovery Mode
Holding Volume Down and Power Button = Fastboot Mode

It isn't possible, only through advanced menu than press recovery.
