Your flash tool is able to detect your phone? Just open flash tool and then remove the battery of the phone ,reinsert it and hold your menu button while you connect to the PC. (you will see green LED glowing). It will turn on the flash mode and flash the stock ICS ftf file .. I think it should work.

Hi guys. My device(St15i) wont boot at all. It was rooted and boot loader was unlocked as well. I used Cyanogenmod 7.1 for sometime and then flashed it with Stock rom after that. It was working absolutely fine. 2 days ago, I connected the phone to Wi-Fi and scanned for latest updates. It showed me that there is an update available(I guess it was for firmware as i did not had .62 on it). I knew it was rooted but still because of some teething i guess, i said yes to the upgrade. It downloaded the update and the phone restarted. It started with the unpacking screen and then turned off...Now whenever I try to turn it on, it doesn't boot. I can just see the green LED on the top(beside the power button) flash once every second when I hold the power button down. But it wont turn on at all...I tried flashing the device again with flashtool, but it doesnt work. I cant flash a new kernel because I cant connect it in flashmode or flashtool mode. Whenever I try connecting it and flashing any kernel, it says <waiting for device>. I have all the drivers installed but still cant get it to work. Can someone please help me with the problem....

And what is suppose to happen after that?? Do I have to again flash it with the Stock Firmware??

What could be the problem??
Better do a cmplete wipe. . Use flashtool to flash .42 firmware. . I assume u hav backups of everytng. .

I hav the link to fw .42 n the abv thread. .
Download the firmware. . In flashtook check wipe user data and wipe cache. .

flash ics firmware again
and say what happens
Are you sure your device is off when you're connecting it to your computer? Press and hold volume up button with powerbutton untill you've felt a vibration followed by a serie of vibrations and then try to connect it in flashmode.
must be the kernel or rom you flashed doesn't support offline charging

phone is not detected on pc and can't start phone in fast or flashboot, the LED turns green for 1 or 2 sec than turns red then the phone start (sony logo then black screen)
Then install drivers again
Install those from flashtool\drivers folder choose the ones for xperia u,p,sola,go and last 2 optins also, thats fastboot and flash drivers.
Open flashtool and try plug phone in fastboot mode, watch the led, if it start booting remove phone and watch right down on your pc screen to see if its installing. When it finish try again.
This is 99% of these problems...

yes do as said on above post. it couldnt be a hard brick. AFAIK hard bricks only occur if you flash something not meant for your device. except in Z series.

What windows versioon do you have?
Force power off, press power + volume up untill you feel (1+) 3 vibrations and try.
Try fastboot too and see if there is anything in flashtool log.

Is it charging when pluged to cahrger when off, or even with sony logo?

I don't understand?! I can't go in flashboot mode, how can I flash with stock firmware ? and does stock firmware means the factory one?
if the led is turning green it means you can. but if you dont immeadiately flash stock firmware. it will boot. so you need to prepare stock ftf firmware for your device, choose it, wait for flashtool to tell you to connect your phone in flashmode. then connect your phone in flashmode

You dont need disconnect anything. Your phone is not bricked, its working. The only problem is your drivers, you have to manage install them and it will work. This has been here thousand times.

Hi guys,
I have mk16i(xperia pro), and installed latest lx cm11 build. Then, I tried dark's kernel. But I wanted to revert to the stock kernel.
Now at that point, i couldn't enter the fastboot or flash mode anymore. The OS running w/o any problem. But i'm stuck with the dark's kernel(which is very battery unfriendly,10 hour standby)
When i try to connect the phone to PC while pressing menu(or back button) the LED blinks for miliseconds and the phone continues switching on normally (enter OS).
I know it is my fault to install nonstock kernel but I really need help. If anyone experienced this issue, it will be great to hear the advice.
Thanks in advance
Try taking out the battery for a few seconds, reinserting it, pressing the button for fastboot mode (I don't know which one you have to use for the xperia pro) and then you connect it to your PC while keeping the button pressed. This should work

Thanks for the reply.
I tried it many times. But no chance... The LED blinks then the phone goes into OS.
I tried to reboot fastboot via adb commands. Again same result. Directly goes to OS.
Flashtool also stucks at "Device will soon enter fastboot mode" nothing happens. Phone stays on...
Is it hw fault? I will be very disappointed if so I replaced its digitizer recently by paying too much money.) It was expensive when i bought it also... I cant stand buying a new phone these times... pff too many issues...
Sounds weird. I have made the experience that it sometimes helps to take the battery out, then keep pressing multiply and long the power button. Wait ~10 minutes. Insert the battery and try again!
Hopefully it helps!
Otherwise could maybe be kernel related. Try to flash another one (with recovery).

i think you done it allready but better than have adead phone:
- re check if all drivers installed (android sdk with its google driveer, flashtool drivers)
put out battery , put in & hold volume down while plugging cabel in. (if led not stays blue, pull out abttery, put in & reconnect but hold other button like menu key) --> try all buttons
i cant imagine flashing darks kernel broke yr bootloader. theres sth wrong with your machine / setup / whatever.

Thanks for the answers. Yes unlocked bootloader.
Since the device doesn't boot into "flash" mode also, i am not able to flash ftf through flashtool or any firmware via SEUS.
I had managed to enter fastboot mode once!
Happened with USB3.0 port via "adb reboot-bootloader" command.
Still, I am not getting into fastboot again...
I will inform you, thanks guys.
EDIT: I did it once again thru adb in recovery and flashed a stock kernel. Let me see the battery drain is due to kernel or some hw damage.
I am sure hw is damaged...
Ultimately solved...
After i am able to enter fastboot mode via some funny method described above, i erased system partition and flashed kernel.sin of the official .587 ftf file of Sony Xperia Pro.
Now the device is able to enter flash mode and fastboot mode via normal ways...
Thanks guys...
EDIT: I dont understand how is it related to kernel? I thought that bootloader files are damaged which i cannot correct them.
There are many .sin files in the stock .ftf which i cannot flash any of them without flash mode.(i was able to enter fastboot mode only)

Guys please help. I am very confused now: When i connect the phone to charger(AC) when the phone is OFF, the phone tries to enter flash mode!?! Led blinks green then the phone continues to open and offline charging animation comes as usual.
Sometimes the phone connects the charger in flash mode! But doesnt connect to usb in flash mode or fastboot mode. I know it is a bit confusing but that is the situation.
Thanks...
I have a xperia U 1.b.1.54 kernel. i wish to root my phone. so i unlocked the Bootloader. and then i downloaded the 1.b.1.10 kernel and downloaded the sony flash tool 0.9.8.0 and flashed. After flashed it shown disconnect your phone. so i disconnected and started the phone. but my phone did not booted successfully...it shown a blank screen. Again i connected and connect in flashmode and flashed, this time i tick the option "exclude kernel" . but it show the same error after restart . i restarted 3,4 times...now my phone canot start..just a small vibration thats all. nothing show in display even a light or blank screen. bt if i reinsert the batery and press volume down button and connect USB cable. a green light will apear. and it will went off after 10 sec. nothing will shown even their is a green light.

Looks like you messed something up during flashing.
Try flashing this ftf in flashmode:
ST25i_6.1.1.B.1.100_Sony.ftf (you can find the link to it in Xperia U Android Development index)
It's a stock Sony ICS rom with a stock Kernel.
Do not exclude anything....
@sudheeshmeenkulam
Try flashing stock 1.b.1.54 kernel first.
