Hi,
As you may know, you cannot enter the secret codes (e.g. *#0*#, *#0011#, *#27663368378#...) on a device that has not been enabled the HiddenMenu.
I need someone to help me to test if these codes work on your device by using my app: Shortcut Master.
Here is how:
- Install Shortcut Master app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.shortcutmaster.lite
- Go to menu 'Secret Code Explorer', select your desire code (e.g. 0*, 0011, 27663368378, 0228, etc...) and tap to launch it.
- You can select 'Launch 0' or 'Launch 1' to test if it work. 'Launch 0' requires ROOT access.
Please kindly test and feedback. Thanks.

Great, thank you for your response.
But do you know if your phone has been enabled the HiddenMenu?
Can you dial *#0*# on the phone's dialpad to see if this code works?
Please try also another codes (e.g. *#06# or *#0011#...) by dialing them on the phone's numpad?

I enabled it by going to efs/carrier/Hiddenmenu and changed OFF to On. You might want to add that to the OP along with making sure that ones ROM has the Hiddenmenu.apk in. As far as i know without this apk you can't access the menu.
Tried all 3 codes and they work.
Edit: Would you like me to change it back to OFF so you can see if your app works without enabling HiddenMenu?
Edit#2: Disable HiddenMenu by changing ON to Off and it worked. Came across some options that didn't. #2 and the last 3. I didn't run through all of them yet just at random. I'll update later on

Yes, that is exactly what I was asking for.
While HiddenMenu is OFF, can you launch the secret codes by dialing on the phone's numpad, and by using Shortcut Master app?

With HiddenMenu set to OFF the codes will not work using the dial pad. Using Shortcut Master I'm able to access the HiddenMenus with the efs/carrier/HiddenMenu set to OFF and launch 0.

Yes, it needs root to launch the secret codes, it's due to Samsung's security policy.
To enable the HiddenMenu, you also need root...

For your convenience, you can download the shortcuts list files and import in to the app.
- Android 4.3 Hidden Shortcuts.rar
- Samsung (Note 3) Hidden Shortcuts.rar
Hi,
just download it from Play Store and install it.
I am on NC5 stock rooted without modifying the etc file.
Using your apps, I can enter to the hidden menu, such as LCD Test menu (usually we do it by pressing *#0*# from dial pad).
Thank you,
very nice apps.

I'm not sure if this is posted anywhere or if I'm placing it in the right section. Sorry if not...
To enable the hidden menu on Verizon Note 2:
- Install apk here: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/38150-enable-hidden-menu-and-dialer-codes/
- Open the app
- Press the menu button
- Press the black text at the bottom of the screen that pops up
- Select enable
- Do one of two things: 1) press the Launch Hidden Settings button or 2) exit out and use the codes through the dialer...such as *#0*# http://www.androidcentral.com/how-uncover-and-use-hidden-service-menu-galaxy-s3

I dunno
It is good for forcing your phone into lte only mode. The only time it works for me thoigh is with the dialers. The apk never would. Now I have the hidden menu stored as a contact number. I just dial myy contact name, and jump right into hidden menus. It saves me havong to remember it all the time.

Dialer Codes
Could you post some dialer codes that would be useful for the VZW Note 2?
3G/4G/Hidden menu without root
no need for any app,
just use *#22745927 on dialer, then enable hidden menu from the next screen and then use the following codes to change whatever u wish
*#197328640# Service Mode
*#0228# BatteryStatus
*#0*# Screen/Sensor/Vibration/Touch/Speaker/LED/etc testing -- even gives out raw values for light sensor, barometer, etc in real time
*#2263 RF Band Selection
*#66336 MDM Randump Mode (defaults to OFF)
for LTE only or 3G only Edge only without rebooting device, download the app phoneutil .....http://mirror20.downloadandroidrom.com/download/apk/utility/phoneutil.apk?token=662111735
works like charm

Hey everyone. I'm still pretty new to Tasker. I've only been actively using it for about 2-3 weeks. I think I've got a pretty good handle on it, but there's something I can't seem to figure out how to do. I know that by default, Android doesn't allow any app to modify another's notification in the pull-down menu but if I could get take to simulate a tap in the upper right corner where that button is to clear all notifications, wouldn't that do the trick? How so do you get take to do that? I read the was a shell command that you could run that was basically "input tap x-coords y-coords". Tried that but it didn't work. Any ideas?

run shell -> input tap x y
x y are the coordinates (activate them to show on screen in developer menu in settings)
is that what you've tried?
Yeah. And it didn't do anything. I even tried different coordinates thinking that maybe I was trying to use coordinated that were too close to the border or something

Welcome to Tasker. As far as what I'm trying to have done with it and my notifications, read the original post. It explains what my goals are

Tried and tested, run shell -> input tap x y -> ensure use root is ticked, I have been using multiple tasks with this exact command

Finally figured it out. It was all in the details. I didn't use root and I also had the word 'Input' with a capital 'I' instead of lower case. I guess it has to be all lower case

Hello, all! I have searched tasker guides, and looked everywhere I can think of and can't figure it out. Looking to start Daydream when screen state is off but not docked or charging. Doesn't work for me no matter what I try. "Daydream Launcher" app can not be used as it does not work on it's own to start Daydream much less with tasker profile - appears 4.3 isn't being supported at this time from comments. I am trying with profile:State>Display>Display state>Off to trigger task: Plugin>Secure Settings>Configuration>Helper Action>Day Dream State>On OR task: Plugin>Secure Settings>Configuration>Helper Action>Day Dream>Clock plus (or whatever else) I get nothing either way. Daydream works fine on dock or charge. Anyone have any advice? Thank you in advance for any help you can give!
I'm sure one of our dev's will tackle that eventually..def would be a sweet little tweek.

If no one else gets to it I'll add it to my list to take a look at as soon as I get a couple of other projects out and posted.
If you really want it done. get a hold of @nala_ and tell her @mjcollum said to add it to the to do list.

Do you need a Tasker task it will probably be easier to just add it in as a function of the apk. (With a n off command)

Just found this thread because I wanted to do the same
Found a solution:
Tasker + Secure Settings (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.intangibleobject.securesettings.plugin&hl=de)
--> Install Secure Settings, Enbale System+, Set DayDream to "always", Set a Task in Tasker if Power + Wireless + AC --> SecureSettings Toggle DayDream
So it will be off if you charge and if you don't charge the DayDream gets activated.

That screenshot shows that you may be using a stock kernel, and using an Xposed module to fake SELinux permissive status. To actually edit using SQLite, you shouldn't be on a stock kernel, but a modified kernel such as beast kernel...
The tutorial to which I originally linked is for adding a flashlight toggle, though a few posts afterwards shows the steps you wanted (a toggle for mobile data).
I've modified the tutorial to give you that which you desire, mobile data.
The 3 records must edited in a similar fashion to that which is displayed below, adding the MobileData text and semicolon in between each edit.
Your edited fields should be in the identical order sequence for each of the 3 records in the database.
The first 3 screenshots show the highlighted rows, while the last shows the edited record. All you will be doing is adding the text MobileData to each of the 3. Put them wherever you wish for the toggle to appear in your drop-down notification panel..
Good luck!

OK this is what I found. Get the Wanam Xposed app from the market and download the exposed downlader.
Open Xposed Downloader and update framework until all the red text is gone. Then go to Downloads and look for
ADVANCED POWER MENU +
You can have a custom recovery reboot power menu with data toggle and anything you can think of

I recently flashed cyanogenmod 12.1 to my Blackview Ultra by porting a cyanogenmod rom for the Holly U19. However, the home button isnt working. Whenever the home button is pressed, it highlights an option of whatever menu I am on. I would appreciate any insight on this.
